Perfect Path Technologies: Omega E mat

I’m curious about this product from Perfect Path Technologies and would like to hear from those that have experience with it. I’ve bought and used the Total Contact enhancer and like what it does for my system so I’m interested in hearing how this Omega E mat performs.

AMG is joined in his mindset by a few others who post on this site. They’ve made their opinions clear. They are of a particular personality type. Nothing wrong with that of course, as we all fall under basically four distinct personality types, each one with their overriding unique quirks.

In their case, their biggest fear is criticism (still not dissing them, its just a fact). Many who fall under this personality category find it hard to even take a mere suggestion, let alone criticism. They will argue a position to their last breath to prove themselves right. Usually, they are very intelligent people ... and enter scientific professions ... like engineering and/or other careers dealing with mathematics.

They are great planners financially ... and when retirement comes, as it comes to all of us (if we’re lucky), their planning has usually paid off handsomely for them.

All of that being said, because of their innate fear of criticism, they analyze everything to death, driving others around them absolutely bonkers. Their motto is: measure ten times and cut once. For the career choices they make, that’s a very good thing. Gotta bring those manned rockets back safely, right?

Hey, AMG ... the ten-day, money back guarantee with no questions asked, kind of removes the need to measure ten times to cut once, wouldn’t you agree?

There is no way that Tim Mrock is going to reveal his formulas to you or anyone else. He’d be grossly stupid if he did. However, you can buy the Omega E Mats and the small Alpha E Cards to try out for a month with no obligation to buy. So ... what problems are left for you? What would be holding you back at this point? Inquiring minds want to know. :-)

On the heart surgery and the pacemaker installation ... No, I didn’t research how the surgery is done, nor did I do any testing or read any white papers on the health of the pig the new heart valve was taken from. I DID, however, do my research on the doctors involved. My heart surgeon was selected because of a confidential conversation I had with the director of surgery at the hospital. I took her advise. My Grandson is a surgeon as well, and he recommended the very same heart surgeon because he assisted that particular surgeon as a student in medical school. I put my faith (there’s that word again) in what I considered the best available. I didn’t have to research the devises ... the doctors had already done that for me far in advance of my surgery.

Hey Geoff,

I would like information an what the product is supposed to achieve, it's uses, its manufacture, contents, safety issues, poison rating, ingredients (ala batteries), child safety info etc. Like any other product as mandated in Australia. I would also like our Consumer organisation(and product magazine) all over it. They produce Shonky awards for things that claim more than they are able, like magnetic underlays and pillows (not good for migraines or pacemakers).

I maintain that if a product is not able to be put into consumer circulation with it's full detail, then it should be looked at warily.

Chinese medicine is a good example. Unfortunately for the remaining Rhino population on this world, the horn ground up into a powder is said to be a good aphrodisiac and elephant ivory heals a range of ills. Do they?

Not according to the latest reports. But these myths go back 3000 years and the education to change this belief in Asiatic nations has only been in the last 30 years, when resources looked to be on the verge of extinction. However how many of our goop or fuse readers/contributors regularly go out to try the latest herbal/Chinese medicine? I suspect not many. And why is that? I would doubt that cost would be the issue. Is it doubt about what the products might do to us physically, once the dried scorpion or cockroach has been masticated?

Frank, did you do any research or seek explanation of the procedure to put your pacemaker into you? Did you ask what it was, or did you blindly let the doctors at you on good faith and pay them for the service?

My father once told me to always look a person in the eye when speaking to them. And always look them in the eye listening to them. Why? Aversion to the truth. If a person does not tell you to your eye what the truth is, then they are not to be trusted. (And yes, blind people can do the same actually).

So why are people so averse to letting on how and why a product works? The information available on the internet is vast and can be spread via social media in the blink of an eye. If a person wants to know how and why a light switch turns on a bulb, they can look it up. If a person want to make a bomb they can do the same (sadly there are those miscreants who would).

We live on and for information. Why hide information that is beneficial. Patents protect intellectual property. Copyrights protect the creator of an original work under original conditions. With those in place, a product is safe from cloning or duplication and secure the product manufacture and sale, (although there are countries where this does not mean much at all).

Please note that this post is neutral. It takes no sides apart from one that seeks truth and honesty regarding products as required by consumer law. It has nothing to do with the performance of certain topical products as this varies from system to system, to listener to listener.

Rather, it is more to do with informing the consumer with information about a product being paid for. The consumer by way of payment for a product is also purchasing the right to know of the product, including its use, makeup, limitations, contents and all other information forthcoming by was of Consumer Laws as applied Federally and by State Legislation.

@amg56. If you are not interested in PPT products that is your decision. It is likely though that not doing so will limit the ultimate performance of your system which is a shame for you.☹️
I’m pretty sure AMG56 is not really a candidate for this sort of thing. He’s just showing off that he’s too smart to be taken in by outrageous tweaks.
Unlike medical procedures and most everything else, you can actually return the mats or cards if they don’t delight you. So it’s the polar opposite of blind faith. You actually get to use it for weeks and hear or not hear what is does. No faith, empirical evidence. You are not blind or deaf to this at any point once it is in your rig. Time to buy based on your actual ability to test and hear for yourself.  An Aphile’s dream!

But there is ALWAYS references to medical drugs, medical procedures, quantum physics, gravity, how lights work (what a weak example
@tommylion).

Where can you read about these products? No information available, and none forthcoming. Buy on blind faith? Not me. Sorry.

If we had to know how or why everything works before we would try something, we would not have or participate in half of what we do.  We trust in medical procedures and drugs we know nothing about.  We accept that cars, computers, cameras--even clothing--work or are better than another similar product, so we buy and use these things without asking much.
The idea here, on this forum, is to trust the experiences of other like-minded folks rather than demanding an explanation from the product's founder, who wishes to become established after years of work and personal investment before his technology is hijacked by competitors.
We believers are so happy with PPT's products, we don't mind  knowing little of how they work to improve our systems, but work they do!
Oh, brother! That’s what run if the mill reviewers oft say, “I have no idea how these things work but work they do!” I suppose audiophiles are not (rpt not) our last hope for figuring stuff out.

It is puzzling how some people have such a hard time with the fact that results are entirely independent from explanation. A small child flips a switch, and the light comes on. That child has no understanding of how light bulbs or electricity work, yet the light comes on every time (unless someone forgot to pay the bill 😉).

Scientists conduct experiments, and observe the results. They then seek to understand and explain those results. The results are the same, before and after the explanation. The results don't wait until there is an explanation to manifest.

Stevepo.

A resounding huge YES.
that is exactly what I have done.
One mat in circuit breaker door and total of 7 ecards scattered around components.
And yes it works extremely well.
From one impoverished aphile to another.....

Ho Ho, I once believed in Santa Claus. Now my grand kids think I am Santa!

"Divinely Inspired"? How about enhanced by physics?

My My, how this forum has changed, and then again not. Not to be negative, but I would like a paper or some sort of detail on how this works before outlaying $600. That's only reasonable. I get the same for $10 products and $60k cars. Why not ask for an explanation. I would be certain that there would be a pat. pending on the products?
Guys, this is a question to those with the alpha ecards: do you think an ecard under main components (avr, htpc, equicore) would will make an appreciable difference as a poor man's solution?

I'm thinking of a full mat for circuit breaker and ecards under my components as a beginner solution since I just don't have the kind of funds many people in this forum seem to.
I'm not sure why it effected class D sub amps, our monos are bridged via floating. There was some strange interaction with that, FOR SURE.

Dr. Gaw is a truly lovely man, and is currently enjoying Timmy's product line through out his system.  Gotta get him some Alpha cards. <3 <3

:) @t_ramey   ..... Tim DID NOT WANT TO PULL out the magnets, he believed they worked. I twisted his arm. LOL. After viewing the Youtube video of how the magnets work..... (compressing waves) it made total sense. He held his breath and pulled them out. WE WERE AMAZED. You must try!

I seem to recall Fremer was going to get one of these here products. What ever happened to that deal. It didn’t go down? Too bad Clark Johnsen of Positive Feedback seems to be out of the tweak game. But maybe he’s not.  And his buddy, Dr. Gaw.
As of 2 days ago I now have 8 mats.  There has been even more improvement to the bass and the soundstage has again gotten wider and deeper.  As some others have stated,  I have noticed that my speakers have vanished and there is more separation or air around the music.  Even more little details coming thru also,   truly awesome
t_ramey,

I did perceive an improvement when I first added the MC-0.5, and then again when I treated the pins and painted the housing with TC. It had been in place ever since. When I added the mats, I assumed (never a good idea) it would continue to be beneficial, or at least not cause any harm. When Tim shared his experience removing them, I decided to try taking mine out.
geoffkait,

I'd go with the quantum electron (spin) alignment theory mentioned by mikeg above, but what do I know? It'd be great to understand exactly how it works, but, fortunately, no explanation is required to enjoy the benefits.
@tommylion

Just so I understand your situation, the TC in your system along with the mc-0.5's was sounding good and when you added the E mats everything improved even further. But now after taking out the mc-0.5's and everything else left the same you're noticing an uptick in performance. So everything with the mc-0.5's was good but its better without them now that you have the E mats?
At Tim’s suggestion, I also removed the single MC-0.5 I had in my system yesterday. As I understand it, the effect takes several days to wear off, but I am already experiencing a very nice improvement without it. Fortunately (as far as I know) it didn’t cause any other problems with my gear.
Hey t-ramey, I wouldn't waste the TC on an Ecard, it's two different things.
We recently pulled the mc-05's out of  our main system.
We were horrified at the results.
The magnets effected the sound for the WORSE (major compression) and did bizarre stuff to our gear. Made his class D sub amps abnormally hot, even at idle~~~he's got  a sophisticated safety diagnostic in his amps, and it wrecked havoc with it....tons more problems.....  Much better without. And Yes, Timmy approved this message. LOL. <3
<3 Krissy
I'm trying to remember if it was tommylion who had pasted the exterior casing of some HF mc-0.5's with TC and noticed an improvement. Wondering if pasting TC on an eCard would do anything or if its just not necessary.
OK, here’s what we know. The eCard is not magnetic. So it doesn’t work magnetically. Which means the larger mats don’t work magnetically either. So, the big elephant 🐘 in the room is how does it work? Does it have Graphene inside? If so, how would that do anything? If it’s not Graphene what the ding dong is it?! Share, share! And don’t tell me it’s artificial atoms.
“This proved to me that quantum alignment of the electrons provided by Perfect Path Technology is a game changer in high end audio.”

mikeg,

you are absolutely correct to call it a game changer. I honestly never dreamed I could achieve what I have with my relatively modest components and system.
I'm up to 11 Omega Mats and 4 Alpha cards in my system and have pasted all contacts including my ac panel.  Grannyring hit the nail on the head when described the improvement as being immersed within the music.  The noise floor is almost nonexistent.  I recently painted the anode wire to the QB 5/1750 single output tube on my NAT Transmitter monoblocks and that really brought all of my reviewing system components and tweaks together to produce the most beautiful sound in my system to date.  This proved to me that quantum alignment of the electrons provided by Perfect Path Technology is a game changer in high end audio.
@grannyring

I would bet Doug Schroeder would try them. Although, he switches components in and out of his system so often, for evaluation, that a product like PP contact enhancer would be imparactical and impossible to really evaluate.

I wonder how many audiophiles are really aware of these products.

I can't wait to try the ecard's soon. The PP contact enhancer has been a revelation in my system.

I am thinking about individuals that spill over with integrity and audio wisdom born out of experience such as Jim Smith, Albert Porter, @almarg , @charles1dad, Doug Schroeder and so many others. Not sure why they are not using these PP products?

All these Perfect Path products represent honest to goodness disruptive level innovations delivering a level of sound quality improvement not previously attainable with any other individual tweak or system upgrade. That revolutionary in my humble opinion. Scratching my head as to why individuals such as these, as well as open minded builders, are not talking about these products?

Is it because it is utterly preposterous believing these benign looking mats, cards, and paste do indeed perform the way we owners know they do? I think so. That’s it really. Anyway, I have long enjoyed sharing about true gems and genuine stellar values in our hobby and these PP products top my all time list to date. Whatever the technology is within these products I can say with excitement that we Aphiles are in for an unprecedented ear opening season of innovation. This bus has left the station and we are now in that season with these products.
The TC treatment on the power conditioner and speaker crossovers are really paying dividends now. Its been just about four weeks since the power conditioner was treated and almost two weeks for the crossovers.

As most of us have experienced, there’s a jump in SQ at four weeks and another one at eight weeks after pasting with TC. Well, last night, the four-week jump from the power conditioner kicked in big time.

Lawdy Lawdy, Miss Claudie ... I dug deep into the LP vault and pulled out some early 60’s and 70’s rock records. I listen to this stuff very rarely, preferring jazz, jazz vocals, and classical. BUT ... after last night there will be more "rockin" going on at my place for sure.

The combination of the Total Contact and the Omega E Mats allows one to hear into the music so much further. What a joy!

Frank
We can certainly help you spend money here!
But with a $100k system you may be shocked how much further you can elevate its performance.
Come on Guys, you make me spend more money.

E mat appears to be too expensive.

I will try out E-card instead.

I shall not come into threads in Audiogon Forum to save money.
Darn it!
Probably going to have to order another pack of 5 ecards now!
May as well throw another mat in while I am at it!
I was thinking about starting a new thread on this one, but Its just as well to have at it here.

I received my five-pack of the Alpha E Cards in today's mail. The first experiment was with my cell phone. I placed one E Card inside the back of the cell phone's protective cover. I immediately noticed a sharper, clearer picture with better color. After that, I took a break to watch the LSU vs Georgia game.

I'm now typing this at my computer (duh!) and listening to Spotify through my Grado RS-1 headphones. The Grado's have a flat surface on the outside of the ear speakers. I just completed an experiment. I took the other four cards, put two in each hand, and held them up to the flat Grado surface. This makes for a very easy A/B comparison.

The Grado's are a very  nice headphone and I've enjoyed them immensely over the years. Bottom line ... When I held the E Cards up to the phones, the sound became much more spacious with lots more inner-detail. More musical too. With the E cards removed, all the benefits go away.

Highly recommended ... !!

Frank
Grannyring,  I agree with you.  I have 6 e mats and waiting on more in the mail.  With each e mat added the sound gets better and better.  I have never been so happy with my system as I am now.
Great to hear grannyring! I have a Sonore ultraRendu that I intend to put an e-card under and over when I get ready to order some. Glad to see you’re getting such good results!

i just moved in to my new place and was able to this time paste some TC to the wall wire to my Furutech NCF receptacles for both my HT and main stereo rig with great results. Still need to try the TC on my speakers crossovers.
Very strange reality of looking at these simple and benign looking cards, mats and tiny tube of paste and experiencing what they do.  Sort of messes with my mind and sense of reason.
Grannyring.
So you like them?
Lol.

I concur with ecards and their use around smaller DAC, power supplies, media server and equicore.

Freshly TC pasted system this morning and finally got around to finding time to sit down and listen to something.
First music I qued up on Tidal just 16/44 Red Velvet Car by Heart.

I am still sitting here with a big silly grin plastered across my face!

It is as though Ann Wilson is in the room performing just for me!
I know some made fun of my prior description but it is still as good as I can come up with.
The music is just there, in the air and all around.
It is definitely not coming out of my speakers, just can't be!

So yes very very happy as well and if it all only just gets better??
Oh boy!
Those of us that stream and utilize computer based audio will find these Ecards wonderful. Place them near critical areas like usb filters or reclockers. Near the outputs of your streamer no matter the type of interface used. If you use LPSs to power your clocks, filters, computers, servers etc...., then place an Ecard in each of these power supplies. If you have a special Pink Faun, SOTM or other sound card, then place the Ecard near it.

Point of clarification. These can just be placed on top of the unit as there is no need to place them inside the gear. The card’s back is conductive so if one decides to place these inside gear, then proper care must be taken to avoid any possibility of the card causing an unintended short. I was able to place them inside my gear as I have lots of experience inside electronics.
uberwaltz, did you try putting the Graphene stuff back in the container?
Well well, I have to share my recent experience. I know folks will think my comments are hyperbolic and I don’t blame them as I would think the same thing. It has been a long time since I have been this impassioned, at this level, with any new audio product or tweak. I will be direct here and not hold back what I am thinking and experiencing.

First, I have had one Emat in my system for some 6-8 weeks. I forget exactly how long. I have also TC pasted just about all I can safely in my rig.

Well I placed Ecards in the following positions. One .....

- in my Ifi USB 3 filter/reclocker
- in my linear power supply for the above Ifi unit
- in my linear power supply for my SOTM USB card
- in my CPT conditioner

The results are astounding. Why every single audio manufacturer does not put these in their units is beyond me. This is an absolute game changing technology that easily trumps every other tweak and modification I have executed over the past three decades.

How can I put it even more directly? Every single Aphile who really wants an emersive listening experience must, I repeat, must do the following. Purchase one TC paste kit. Purchase one 5 Ecard set. Read the thread and place where others have shared you get a Big Bang impact. This is how to begin. Sure at least one mat will follow. Now enjoy your CURRENT system like never before without needing to really do anything else.

Yup, I am excited and know of no other tweak or equipment upgrade that goes to this level of sound quality improvement. None, regardless of cost. No amp or dac upgrade will reach this level of improvement.

Is is possible a person or two will not realize this same experience? I suppose it is. However, for the other 95% enjoy!

I have two Ecards left and they will go into my TC paste treated speaker crossover networks.

I know Frank and others here keep on sharing their utter excitement and joy with these products and what they have accomplished in his system. I can tell you fellow Agoners they are not exaggerating one little bit.

Six weeks on my mats as of Thursday, and the sound is still improving. I've kind of made it my mission to see how long it keeps improving, while I don't make any changes to my system.
As uberwaltz says, a little goes a long way.

I've found it best to just gently squeeze the "plunger" so that just a small amount of paste barley comes out of the end of the tube, then dab the brush onto it from there. This way, there is very little waste.

After pasting the innards of my power conditioner and the speaker crossovers, the sound has improved drastically.  I was listening to my favorite Karrin Allyson CD last night, and it was as though she was right there in front of the listening position singing to me personally. Down right awesome.

Frank
So have you listened to your system yet uberwaltz?  Curios as to how it sounds now
