Perfect Path Technologies: Omega E mat

I’m curious about this product from Perfect Path Technologies and would like to hear from those that have experience with it. I’ve bought and used the Total Contact enhancer and like what it does for my system so I’m interested in hearing how this Omega E mat performs.

  I received just over 1.5 ml with my batch. It was marked in graduations of 0.1 ml with marks along the syringe. You can paste a couple of large systems with 1.0 ml of TC. The stuff is like magic.... I literally mean that too! I just hit 56 but maybe 63 days (lost track) after pasting TC to my double run of Teo Ultra's using Audioquest Y splitters via the Schroeder Effect. The system sound quality gets better almost every week. The last two days I am really shocked by the three dimensionality of the sound. Female vocals are just beautiful now. Bass slam along with wonderful timbre and tone color of instruments. Huge soundstage and instrumental placing front to back, side to side and with great heighth. In other words the whole picture. I am quite stunned by this. I can't say at 30 days I noticed any real jump in sound quality but around 60 days just stunning. I really was expecting nothing to happen around 60 days but I am ever glad I was wrong! I can't believe how good a Redbook cd can sound! I bet it even gets a little better. 300 bucks for quite probably what would have cost at minimum 10k and up in  component and cabling upgrades....no exaggeration as I am quite good at math. I guess I have to gladly try the mat soon Lol.   Thank you thank you thank you Tim Mrock!!
@Oregonpapa,

   Dp you mean the inside of the entire chasis? Thanks again for your recommendations of the SR Blue fuse, SR UEF Black power cord and especially the TC. TC AT or approaching 60 days is like magic! Fairly steady but very very nice improvement almost weekly in my system, no big deal at 30 days but at around 60 days now....holy crap great! Thanks to Frank and all others involved for this and other threads on the above mentioned products.
I forgot to thank and mention my friend Bob in Plainfield Il (Dorkwad) who told me about the TC thread. I hope he is enjoying his new wonderful speaker addition to his system.
@grannyring

   I would bet Doug Schroeder would try them. Although, he switches components in and out of his system so often,for evaluation, that a product like PP contact enhancer would be imparactical and impossible to really evaluate.

I wonder how many audiophiles are really aware of these products.

I can't wait to try the ecard's soon. The PP contact enhancer has been a revelation in my system.

@mrs_ppt

     Thank You. Happy New Year to you and Tim also. I just moved to the Tampa to get out of the snow and cold. I am a very happy user of Total Contact. Upon setting my system up I removed the prior coating from all connections with alcohol and reapplied. 10 days after application it really sound good again but then I got a cold and can't really hear that much with all the congestion in my head. I am looking forward to trying the matts and cards soon in my system after the 60 day mark had passed.
 I currently am in an apartment and was wondering if it will be possible to use the Gate without inserting it into a breaker panel?
@mrs_ppt

Thank you so much. That sounds just great. I do currently have a Core Power Technologies Equi=Core 1200 balanced power conditioner in my system. Please keep me posted. I can't wait to listen to my system again when my head is unclogged from this cold. I should have another 7 days or so curing of the Total Contact in my system.
@Uberwaltz

ThanKS for the info. I will try that very soon. Did you try them in any particular arrangement on top? I also wonder how many cards are the equivalent of an emat?

@oregonpapa

Thanks Frank as your recommendations are always very helpful and appreciated.  I will probably be moving again in six months and would at that time like to paint some internal parts on the conditioner, possibly in other compents and maybe even in my speakers. It seems to me I saw earlier in this thread that Tim was going to release a dvd and or instructions on all the possible parts/places where the application Total Contact enhancer can do its majic. Has such an instructional dvd/instructions been completed and posted anywhere?

 I think I was one of the first to apply TC to vacuum tubes...... in my hybrid integrated amp with excellent all around results.  I do not know enough about the other parts inside these components to know what or where to apply on the parts in these components. I wish Grannyring lived close by me as I would love to get his mods done on my Core Power Tech. Equicore= 1200
Thank you Krissy and Tim for taking my call on the Holiday. Always nice to talk with other people who have been bitten by the audio bug. Iso much appreciate Tim taking the time to talk to us on such a personal level obout his products and their applications.
@dorkwad

Wow 106 that is great for him and hopefully for you too. I spoke to Tim over the holiday weekend and ordered  a pack of E-cards. I see they are expected to come tomorrow but I am not sure yet how soon I will put them in my system. I just moved to Tampa, from cold, windy and cloudy chicagoland, a few months ago and I had to reapply the PP TC enhancer to my entire system. When I first got here I connected my system with the original TC on all my connections but the sound after a few weeks never got anywhere  close to how it had sounded before the move. Upon stripping off the old TC, from the  now broken connections, with alcohol, and reapplying new TC the system made a big jump in sound quality very quickly. I am currently about 41 days out from the reapplication of the TC and might wait until I sense the 8 week jump in sound quality has been realised before I place the e-cards in. Tim said the e-cards pretty much their full potential about 3 weeks after placement.
@Geoffkait

    All the connections between the interconnects and components, speaker cables & terminals and between power cords and iec's or outlets were severed for my move. When my system was reassembled the sound wasn't even close to what it had been just before the move. I waited two weeks for some type of break in to occur, but decided it was time to bite the bullet and reapply the TC to all the connections again. I used alcohol and deoxit to thoroughly clean all the connections before reapplying the TC.

My understanding is that you can break TC connections once or maybe twice during the first 30 days of the curing process without much degradation.. My system had already gone at least 90 days since the initial application of TC by the time of disassembly right before the move.

Upon reapplying the TC the sound within a few days was already a lot better than it had been before reapplication. I'm at day 43 now since the reapplication and the sound quality is progressing nicely towards where it was before the move.
Happy birthday Tim!

   I just hit week 8 today with TC in my system a noticed a big jump in the sound quality the last 7 days...Very happy. Looking to put the ecard's in soon. My second time through this process as I moved from Chicagoland to Tampa almost 3 months ago. I had to break all the connections to move my system. Three weeks after moving and putting everything back together the sound was nowhere near what it had been before the move. So I cleaned of all the connections off and reapplied the TC. I have to admit I didn't think it was going to get back to where it was but it is right about there I would say now.  Possibly a little better as I treated all my powe cables this time vs just one of three begore.  I listened to the system 4 out of the last 7 days and everyday it was getting better. Today was a big jump since last time I listened Sunday. I was worried and it had been suggested by others here, with a lot more knowledge of audio than me, that it could also just be environmental and room changes. Such differences in the room, ceramic tile vs carpet, stucco walls and ceiling vs regular drywall as well as power quality, RFI and EMI to name a few others. But now after 8 weeks the sound is sure awfully close to what it was.... actually maybe a lillt better overalI. A week or two ago I would have seriously doubted this even after going through this process less than a year ago. It may be hard to go backwards in this hobby much without losing the audio bug! Lol
@Oregonpapa

Thanks again! Without your recommendations my system would sound nowhere near as good as it does now. I can't wait to put the Omega E cards in my system.
