It’s that time of year- 2020 audio wish list

More music! No need for more gear as I’m quite pleased with my system (unchanged since 2015). The only $ I’ll put in gear these days is if a repair is needed.

@slaw

it is good to know that in these uneasy times there’s someone who will, with kindness, help me back on to the one true path!
Slaw- I’m impressed! A devotee of the last photo I used. I’ll see what I can do!
The motivation to get to all of my audio projects.

Oh yeah, for @zavato to switch back to his former picture. Ha ha.
I wish USPS would hurry up. 12+ days for delivery? Come on! Three orders and 25 records en route.
Well, since posing this question in December, the world has changed. I imagine many of us have gotten a whole lot more time to listen to music. I know I have and as a result, a lot of new music has come in. No new gear.
My audio wish list is to spend less on equipment than I did last year. Buying more music is a given. May even try some of those mats that uber has been going on & on about (LOL uber, I trust your judgement)
More music of course but.....

The money to keep buying all the new music!

Yes, yes I know just stream for $14.99 a month from Qobuz......
Happy new year all!

Well more music as always. And with that in mine I'm shooting for an Innuos Zenith Mk3 server/ streamer. And a Denafrips Terminator DAC. Should be a potent combo! Then I'm done! No really! ;-)
More time to listen....Steaming has opened the door to so much music. And Qobuz SQ is darn good.
Building a new home with a "bonus room" for my audio system.  Hope integrating the system into that room is easier than it was in my current "man cave".

Sub array - starting with Stereo subs...which ones? ....hmmmm
then
A couple Hypex NC400 monoblocks. I want to see what my Vandy 2C’s can really do before I give them to some other budding audiophile. After this will upgrade the speakers in either 2021 or 2022

Then will finally be done with my journey
GIK acoustics is a highly recommended acoustical treatment manufacturer. My listening room has some very basic treatments now. A couple of absorption panels, and some very cheap foam.

For my limited budget,I feel I've assembled a pretty decent system. So now the next logical step is to treat the room. The room is probably just as important as the gear. I explained this to my WONDERFUL wife, and she agreed, and told me to just buy them. How cool is that?!
