More music! No need for more gear as I’m quite pleased with my system (unchanged since 2015). The only $ I’ll put in gear these days is if a repair is needed.
GIK acoustics is a highly recommended acoustical treatment manufacturer. My listening room has some very basic treatments now. A couple of absorption panels, and some very cheap foam.
For my limited budget,I feel I've assembled a pretty decent system. So now the next logical step is to treat the room. The room is probably just as important as the gear. I explained this to my WONDERFUL wife, and she agreed, and told me to just buy them. How cool is that?!
Sub array - starting with Stereo subs...which ones? ....hmmmm then A couple Hypex NC400 monoblocks. I want to see what my Vandy 2C’s can really do before I give them to some other budding audiophile. After this will upgrade the speakers in either 2021 or 2022
Building a new home with a "bonus room" for my audio system. Hope integrating the system into that room is easier than it was in my current "man cave".
Well more music as always. And with that in mine I'm shooting for an Innuos Zenith Mk3 server/ streamer. And a Denafrips Terminator DAC. Should be a potent combo! Then I'm done! No really! ;-)
My audio wish list is to spend less on equipment than I did last year. Buying more music is a given. May even try some of those mats that uber has been going on & on about (LOL uber, I trust your judgement)
Well, since posing this question in December, the world has changed. I imagine many of us have gotten a whole lot more time to listen to music. I know I have and as a result, a lot of new music has come in. No new gear.
