Integrated / speaker pairings in the $6-7K range

Really depends on what sound characteristics are most important to you. 

Thanks, soix. I was just trying to be generative here...not wanting to impose too many restrictions just yet. There are other factors that I would consider as well - sound characteristics are certainly one, as are size/form factor, ability to articulate at low volumes, etc. But for now I'm just curious about pairs that people know work well together. 

My Raven Audio Blackhawk LE with MM de Capo-i speakers are in that price range and sound beautiful together.

Luxman and Harbeth (you can find other threads on this combo), Totem and NAD was a nice setup for me, but you cannot compare the two systems in the way they sound. Totally, totally different. So I totally agree with SOIX4

Ayre and Vandersteen.

I think a used AX-7e and the 2Ce Sig III’s would be a great match.

In the past I had the AX-5 Twenty powering 3A Sigs.

I am using the following combo in a 150 sq ft room with fantastic results:

Belles Aria Signature integrated amp @ 120 WPc
dynaudio special 40 speakers

you can get that combo within your budget parameters.

unless the Dynaudio heritage special tempts me, I can live with this combo for decades.

ProAc Tab 10s and Audiolab sing in my living room.

same for a naim nait xs2 or 3 with good ps

I had fantastic results with Focal Dome sub/sat system and a Micromega AS-400 integrated.  

In this price range I really think you are getting a huge step up buying used equipment. Right now I have a pair of Focal 836w and a Micromega M100 integrated all in one. It’s just stupid good for the money in a medium room. I have just over 2k into the entire system with an msrp over 10k. Great synergy.
