Has anyone tried these stunning new CPT power cord?

Considering the many, many brands of power cords I've tried in my very well accomplished high-end system, I have never been so impacted by these Core Power Technology power cords. Within a very short period(15-20) minutes my system literally came alive. Soundstage opened wider and deeper. The background became dead silent, space between instruments and stage members were more focused and everything sounded cleaner and musical than ever. My highs had a glorious crispness and symbols shimmered. Midrange through my 2" horn became more dynamic and punchy. My 15" bass driver tightened and dug low with great control. My Rel G1 which is a fabulous sub on its own but with a CPT 150 on it is another story. Running high pass from my sub to my Audiozen Noah amplifier, music depth is just stunning. Lower end bass is authoritative and clean with solid grip and impact.
My experience with these power cords is truly magical. The scary part of the above is I only have one 150 on my sub and one 300 from my wall to my 6 outlet bar. I still need 3 more to complete my system. I could just imagine the level after that...In closing, I cannot emphasize enough to try one of these in your system. I CANNOT and WIIL NOT take these out as they are that good. But hold your jaw, cuz what you've been listening to will just become real after Core Power Technologies.

Cheers....and let the tapping begin.......

@con1150, no I did not lose any funds to Mark. At this point in time, those that have lost funds should be contacting Mark and if you don't get any satisfaction take legal recourse. I'm not sure what good it does any longer to continue to discuss the issue on these forums, unless there is some new information to share.
I actually wonder if Dan will complete the Deep Core. I did read what Mark posted previously.
But, has there been a finished working Deep Core unit that does indeed improve sound quality?
Or is it still in the idea stage?

ozzy
Up till now, the only thing Deep Core has proven on these forums is that it can blow up systems so  why would anyone with any business sense release it at this point?
As Dan is currently working on a new phono stage, a new integrated amp and a new DAC mod I also doubt he would do much more with the Deep Core unless he is satisfied that it is a complete and working product.  The Equi=Core products on the other hand are well reviewed, tested and proven to work so continuing with them would be the first priority I would think.  As of yet no mention of the CPT situation on AC and may not be for some time.

If I was him and was in fact attempting to buy CPT the last thing I would want would be Mark back on here with more song and dance.

We just got back after a rather long trip overseas and just now got time to catch up on this.

WOW is all I have in mind after reading the last few posts.

I really didn't see this coming.

I thought Dan is already busy with his own products.

And how do you think another one of Mark's posts would help Dan, Modwright or the future of the CPT brand or products.  Walking away gracefully and quietly would be best for all involved.  If he feels the need to communicate with the "injured parties" from his actions then do so privately and let this dog die.
Corepowertech wrote the following on 6-03-2018:

“I will have much more to say this week – but suffice to say I am personally not at all pleased with myself and the state of affairs over these last 90 days.”

It is now “next” week, so I guess Mark has much, much more to say about all of this.
@con1150

@ozzy Posted a thread about Mark’s history awhile back, but Audiogon deleted it and here we are...again.

Maybe we can get some public announcement from Mark or one of his representatives regarding the status of the company, our Deep Cores, and our refunds.

Just spoke with Dan Wright, nice guy and I hope the transition goes smoothly.  Mark - I still would like to receive the Deepcore I purchased in February, please contact me so we can work out the shipping, thanks.
Mark, I hope all goes well for you and Lynn.
I agree Dan is the man, he has modded a few components for me way back in 1998.
Happy for you Mark as this will be a good thing in the long run even though I am sure the sale is sad to you in some ways. God bless.
Wow, congrats  to Dan Wright! Mark is right about Dan. This is great news for all. As an already happy owner of an E=C 1800, I am thrilled with this news.

Dear Audiogon Friends

I have been wanting to write sooner – but I was advised to stay away until we had a deal for Core Power along with some deeply troubling things I have learned about a few of the people that have been posting in these threads. I apologize to all of you for this.

I have two very long posts drafted and waiting for Counsel approval before posting. One is business related – and the other is deeply personal. I have learned a lot in these last few weeks and I’m ready to get a few things “spoken”.

The Company is most certainly NOT out of business. The Company has been sold to one of the very best businesses in the audio industry and led by a man I personally trust and know. Modwright Instruments and Dan Wright will take over Core Power Tech. Dan is a wonderful person and he is First Cabin in my book all the way.

There is so much to say and I’m anxious to do it, but this much I can offer. We have obtained a loan to close out the business from our end and take care of refunds to the 100th percentile and any outstanding debts the company has. Its clear to me that I’m unable to run a business of this magnitude and be present with my health in it’s current state. I’ve done a very poor job these last 90-days and I hold myself accountable and I wish to apologize to all of you.

We do have some shipments leaving early week to close things out. Several overseas shipments and perhaps 8 to 10 US-shipments. I will be contacting each person that had Deep Core ordered to discuss matters pertaining to the shipments. The product is complete, and Dan will be building them.

I will have much more to say this week – but suffice to say I am personally not at all pleased with myself and the state of affairs over these last 90 days. The company was very successful (in all ways) but we simply ran out of all the necessary things one needs to run a company of this size.

I wish to thank all of you – and I sincerely mean that.

Much more to follow –

With my sincerest apologies,

Mark

Their website is offline (“currently suspended”). Does not sound good.
All of you forum posters agreed to abide by the forum owner’s policies, including the implicit (if not explicit) policy not to complain bitterly when the owner decides for whatever whim or reason to yank the proverbial rug from underneath you. This is not a “free speech” forum. You are “moderated” after all.
The Mods have now deleted 2 complete threads and are deleting post after post made by people who have not been sent their products or issued refunds. Does Audiogon really think this is the right way to handle this?

This whole drama has been playing out over a year, and now when it is coming to a head they simply delete complaints by people who have paid for undelivered product and have asked for refunds or had to make fraud claims against Mark and CPT.

@joecasey "A little naive" I don't think so. I've had my 300 and 1800 for a long time, one of the first to receive them. I haven't paid for anything I haven't received. I agree time will tell if Mark can make good with the promises he has made.

This removal of CPT threads is unacceptable and Audiogon is committing obstruction of justice since I see no other option but for the whole thing to end up in court and Audiogon will be subpoenaed.

You must be joking. In the US, a publisher can easily quash almost any subpoena, and Audiogon can't be forced to publish claims made by others. Your pursuit of "justice" is through the court system, not by rubber-hosing a publisher.

From the glass is half empty point of view, the removed CPT thread was on topic. It was evolving in the way many news story would, and was supplying much needed information for the directly affected customers and other interested individuals.
The removal IMHO is misguided and conflicts with the very essence of what our country stands for.

Audiogon removed the thread themselves because it continued to get off the OP's topic. The thread could be activated again when things cool down.
From what I heard we are waiting for a major announcement about a buyout.
As I've always said on these three threads...patience is a virtue...
Lets see if it all works out and everyone ends up happy :-)
Once I get back home, I’ll try to get hold of Audiogon’s owner(s) to find out who of their employees removed those threads.
We are currently out of the country.

This removal of CPT threads is unacceptable and Audiogon is committing obstruction of justice since I see no other option but for the whole thing to end up in court and Audiogon will be subpoenaed.

This is my email in case you need my help.

@acaman The title of the thread was Core Power Technologies Deep Core and is still visible as a title but not accessible (at the end of all the threads discussion details).

A.

I have my legal people on the trace. I won't be letting this go. They (my legals) will issuing a writ to AudioGon if the Core Power Technologies Deep Core thread is not restored for scrutiny.
Is this the only CPT thread left? I just looked back about a week on the forum for cables and don't see any others besides this for Core Power Technologies products. Wow.

Did not know that Deep Core was a CIA project, otherwise what the hell is going on Audiogon??

Glad I sold my 3 CPT boxes...good product put prefer my Shunyata powercords a lot MORE. Ciao!
Days remaining for the existence of this thread over/under placed at 6 days.
Everybody place your bets.

So, we have a discussion going which could prevent people from losing there money and Audiogon is removing all trace and leaving people open to being duped!
Are we not a community looking out for each other?
Does a moderator care to explain why these threads are being removed?
Seems that everytime I post to one of these threads it gets deleted and then the thread soon disappears!
Come on Audiogon this is the USA.
