Just ordered a EQUI=CORE 300 . Looking forward to hearing this device. I am going to be using it as a power source for my entire system. I currently have a PS Audio Duet. Which I still like btw, but I want a blacker background. I will make sure to put a pillow on the floor so I don’t hurt myself lol.

I wonder if stacking these is possible with some isolation feet?
This CPT300 at $800 sounds like what I would imagine a 4 or $5k upgrade would sound like. Just sounds better and better with each cd.
Keep in mind I was using a $250 PS Audio Duet to clean my power. This is completely different animal.

My 300 Arrived today. I am using the 300 and Matrix as a power source for my entire system.
1 hour in cleaner sound and I know for sure...because I used a test cd that I have heard 1 millions times. Rush’s Moving Pictures. I know what the cymbals sounded like before and now (Use to be a professional drummer). They had a muted congested smear to them....now they sound realistic and are placed in the soundstage more realistically. They have a better foundation.The bass was very shy at the beginning...but now its showing itself... in a good way. I do sense the noise floor drop. Overall everything sounds more realistic from top to bottom.
I wish I can fit more of these cables in my system. Too bad the 150’s aren’t in a smaller box. I would buy 2. Maybe just maybe I might be able to squeeze 1 more. Tomorrow I get my new cd transport ..I am very overwhelmed in a good. Very happy so far.

IN at 100hrs. High Frequencies are getting more and more natural sounding. Love it!

I have (1) 300 and (2) 150's. And just to add to this. I originally started with.just the 300 and Wireworld Matrix strip. Now connecting all my components (AMP, CDT and DAC) to wall receptacle with CPT's has made a greater impact. It really has transformed my system into something I look forward to hearing all the time. Its quite addictive. Thanks Mark again for making such an incredible product. I hope you have more stuff up your sleeve. :Hopefully not too soon as my budget for this year is tapped ...well maybe not lol :)

Anyone using aftermarket footers with there CPT devices?
I tried Nordost Aluminum Pulsar Points and I couldn't remove them soon enough. Very grainy and harsh. So this leads me to believe CPT's are very sensitive to isolation tweaks. Which could be a good thing. Higher ceiling these devices have perhaps. Please post what you are using and how has it altered the sound. Thanks in advance

I would imagine that the deep core fits into the tweak category for the CPT. Maybe its better than all the tweaks mentioned below?

Deep Core is still a mystery and I am looking forward to hearing more about it.
Core Power Tech is suppose to be releasing a statement on the technology with Deep Core soon from what I have read in this thread.
I believe its suppose to eliminate all noise or at least a majority of it going into whatever is plugged into it. I was told that each Deep Core is designed to only feed 1 component at a time. So, you cant plug your whole system into it. Mark seems very excited about it, so I am expecting to hear more good things soon.
Deep Core will be the most effective with source components from my discussion with Mark.

If I put my ear right on my CPT300 I do hear low level buzzing sound. It will only gets louder if my air conditioner kicks in. Is this normal? I hope so.

Are you some troll or something? A lot of Mark’s loyal customers have been waiting VERY patiently for the release of the Deep Core. Why would you further frustrate his customers like this? It’s only hurting Mark and his company. Please explain yourself. |
Deep Core has this Mystical vibe about it. It’s like it doesn’t want to exist. Honestly I will be blown away if/when we hear about someone actually having it in their hands, besides Mark and Linda Lovelace. :P |
