Has anyone tried these stunning new CPT power cord?

   Considering the many, many brands of power cords I've tried in my very well accomplished high-end system, I have never been so impacted by these Core Power Technology power cords. Within a very short period(15-20) minutes my system literally came alive. Soundstage opened wider and deeper. The background became dead silent, space between instruments and stage members were more focused and everything sounded cleaner and musical than ever. My highs had a glorious crispness and symbols shimmered. Midrange through my 2" horn became more dynamic and punchy. My 15" bass driver tightened and dug low with great control. My Rel G1 which is a fabulous sub on its own but with a CPT 150 on it is another story. Running high pass from my sub to my Audiozen Noah amplifier, music depth is just stunning. Lower end bass is authoritative and clean with solid grip and impact.
   My experience with these power cords is truly magical. The scary part of the above is I only have one 150 on my sub and one 300 from my wall to my 6 outlet bar. I still need 3 more to complete my system. I could just imagine the level after that...In closing, I cannot emphasize enough to try one of these in your system. I CANNOT and WIIL NOT take these out as they are that good. But hold your jaw, cuz what you've been listening to will just become real after Core Power Technologies.

Cheers....and let the tapping begin.......

Hello CPT Customers...

The iso-Pucks have arrived and this week those packages will FINALLY be going out... :) Pucks were almost 4 weeks late - but they came out GREAT!

Also - our new Super Stroke Power Cords have arrived! These are the very best Power Cords I can design and build under $500 dollars. I've tested the samples against everything I could put my hands on - I am thrilled with the final units that are here and in stock...

THESE ARE GOING TO RETAIL AT $129 DOLLARS :)

Any CPT Customer can drop us a note and we will provide unit one for them at $99 dollars. These are superbly crafted, sound great, finished beautifully and super flexible for eae of use.

We are also working on a special project with THE MAN for power cords - his sample is here and we love love love... it won't be $99 dollars though... :)

corepowertech@outlook.com

Thanks and be well...

Mark

PS - if I'm a moment or two behind with e-mails it's because I am due to have surgery on my right thumb... Ugh...
Mark..could these pcs be used on an Apple iMac computer,,?.just wondering..Dave
@calloway

Good to hear from you sir...

No - these have Standard style IEC Female Input...

They are really good - very excited about this product...

Best wishes,

Mark
Mark..could these pcs be used on an Apple iMac computer,,?.just wondering..Dave

Dave, I see 2 possibilities. 1) If you are using a strip like the Wire World which accepts the IEC male from the E=Q 300, you just plug the computer's power supply/cord into the strip. 2) If you have a 1200/1800 you just plug it directly in. It just takes an extra step in the smaller versions, adding a power strip, or just get one of the big boys.
@ozzy

Our board vendor sent the first 6 units to us and they made a mistake with the "thickness" of the boards. These must carry heavy current - so we went back to them and asked them to re-make the boards.

Fortunately - they saw their error and the new boards should be here Friday. We have all of the parts in house already...

Doug does have Unit One up on his bench and he reports that it works perfectly. We are going to release a statement as to what does it actually do (deeper explanation than the one I've been giving people) shortly.

This is a very cool product and one that everyone will be interested in...

Many thanks,

Mark

I have been monitoring this forum for a few months now to get a baseline on the technology behind Core Power Technologies. I am no stranger when it comes electronic equipment or in this case, power conditioners and in fact over the past 5 years, I have owned several conditioners to include Torus, Audience, Shunyata and a few others I cannot recall.

So, after hearing many positive comments about E=C, I decided to contact Mark at Core Power Technologies to discuss my system requirements in which the E=C 1200 met my needs. Mark is a wonderful guy which I thoroughly enjoyed talking to and he has a passion for this hobby that we all have come to love.

I received my E=C 1200 a few days after talking with Mark and I immediately started the burning-in process by running box fans and light sources through the E=C for 10 days, alternating AC outlets to ensure each outlet was being conditioned.

I took some notes of my current power conditioner, Running Springs Jaco which was by far the best conditioner I have ever heard in my system until I inserted the E=C 1200. I couldn’t believe my ears, my system took on another level of clarity that was quite astonishing, and cymbals had more weight, dimension and decay. My soundstage was extended in depth, width, height and images became more holographic, visceral, more texture, better ambiance and low level detail which give the listener a sense of being part of the recording venue. This was noticeable on everything that I listened to.

Another benefit in adding the E=C 1200 to my system was how beautiful my Plasma Screen TV looks, colors are vibrant with excellent definition and picture quality is remarkably improved in sharpness, contrasts and saturation. I whole heartily recommend the E=C 1200 and at its suggested price, it beats conditioners I have owned in excess of $4K.

So grateful for your wonderful comments - we are surely very proud...

Anyone compared a Equi = Core 1800 against one of newer  Shunyata Denali model conditioners. They are in different price classes, but still might be an interesting comparison.

I own both, the Equi = Core 1800 and the Denali D2000.
The problem is they are in two different systems.
They are both very good.
I'll have to find some time to move the Denali into my second system (because there is more room) and do a comparison.
That would be really helpful as I'm going to pick up or the other. Isolation from digital components leaking noise from outlet to another plays a big role in my choice. I also intend to plug my power amp, digital front end and preamp all into a single conditioner. I will be using Nordost not Shunyata power cords. I'm also wondering what Deep Core is?
@5560

Deep Core is still a mystery and I am looking forward to hearing more about it.
Core Power Tech is suppose to be releasing a statement on the technology with Deep Core soon from what I have read in this thread.
I believe its suppose to eliminate all noise or at least a majority of it going into whatever is plugged into it. I was told that each Deep Core is designed to only feed 1 component at a time. So, you cant plug your whole system into it. Mark seems very excited about it, so I am expecting to hear more good things soon.

Deep Core will be the most effective with source components from my discussion with Mark.

Fast version of the Equi = Core 1800 vs. Denali D2000

Main equipment used in the audition: Allnic T-1500 Integrated 300B Amp, Sonic Frontiers SFT-1 Transport, Yamamoto DA Converter YDA-01, Montana EXP Speakers

My Transport and Dac were the only items plugged into the two power conditioners.

I want to emphasize that both power conditioner are very good, that's why I own both of them.

In my second system (seen above) The Shunyata Denali D2000 was a tad better at giving me more refined micro details and fuller bass, mids, and highs. I want to point out that there is a difference in the price of these two units including different technology that each one uses. One must ask themselves is it worth spending more money for a tad more resolution and detail? It's a personal choice!

I’ve never noticed any improvement using my amp and/or Integrated amp with any power conditioner.

I hope this helps and I hope I didn’t step on anyone's toes.

I also look forward to auditioning the Deep Core Alpha!
I bought the Denali 6000S but did not like it. It made the system sound very thin.I was using it on my amps and my Lumin A1..It did some things very well but the thinness was not tolerable..
Calloway, I agree. Mileage may vary with power conditioner.
Some guys try them and hear no difference and/or say the power conditioner has a negative effect on their music.
One doesn't know until you try it in your system.

@calloway
What power cord and vibration control were you using with the Denali? If thinness was really the only issue, I'm sure you could have eliminated it.

@knghifi
The HB Cable Marble is certainly a fine power distributor, at a hefty price. I personally prefer the noise reduction power conditioners offer, but know people that have made the switch.
jay23...i did try a number of adjustments but the thinness remained...i really don't need a pc but was more than anything just fishing.....nothing lost

knghifi....again..i really do not need a pc..as good as the 'HB' is...and i am sure it is very good...as it should be at the price, it would not improve what  my system already sounds like enough to justify the cost..
@calloway
First off, nice system! I've liked what I've heard of the Tidal speakers.

Did you try a copper power cord? I think if you had tried one of the Shunyata power cords and/or Herbie's ebony domes, you might have eliminated the thinness. Tweaks that can be relevant to the thread.

Did you also have all of the High Fidelity products in your system, at the time? I and a few others have found HF and Shunyata to not play nice, together. With the HF products I can see why you don't need a conditioner. Although I can see a MC-6 (Hemisphere?) in your future. That, and my friend will be releasing a mod to the 0.5 you'll want.
Forgive me if this has been covered but is there any kind of trial period with any of the products? Something like a 30 day money back if the equi core isn't to your liking.
t_ramey, CPT does offer a 30 day trial with a money back guarantee, it's offered but very seldom (almost never) utilized.
Good to know, thanks klh007!

Curious if anybody has replaced the Hubbel receptacles with anything like Furutech or if it's redundant. I currently use Furutech NCF receptacles everywhere and they are trying to lower the noise floor so I'm wondering if there would be further improvement with them installed in either the e=c 1200 or 1800.
T_ramey, yes the more expensive Furutech receptacles, and especially the Furutech Nano 14 gauge (or larger if needed) wire will make a significant improvement.

jay23, From my experience with many many power conditioners is they reduced more than just noise so prefer power distributors that also non-current limiting and works for my current hungry amps.

calloway, HB Cable Marble is a power distributor and would be surprised if it doesn't improve your and most systems.   Here's a review;  HB Cable Marble

t_ramsey, Check out tweekgeek.com for upgrades to the CPT kit.
Wow... been gone for a few days on rest and lots here...

@5560

I believe truly that thess are very different products. The E=C line really works as a FOUNDATION SETTING product for all systems. Lowering the noise floor is amazing for sure in any/every system

Further words on Deep Core a bit later in the evening. If anyone wants to actually see Deep Core feel free to e-mail me and I will send you 4 very realistic renderings... corepowertech@outlook.com

@t_ramey

Our products come with a 30-day money back guarantee (from product arrival)... We are still at ONE RETURN over the last 15+ months.

I have been in systems with other Power Products and while some are very good - the foundational differences with E=C is hard to beat at the asking price.

@klh007

Thanks as always... :)

@lak

Excited to hear your results with Deep Core - the combination of the two items E=C and Deep Core is to my ears AMAZING...

ISO-Puck packages with warranty Starements - receipts etc still going out daily. Lots of very positive feedback going on...

More about Deep Core tonight. Doug's Engineering Statement is very good - although he was a bit cagey about the adjustment pot and what it does. The synchronicity this system provides is really a game-changer...

Thanks all

Mark

Some initial information about Deep Core

Please keep in mind that besides being a State of The Art Power "Front End"... the real surprise is what the adjustment pot provides - we will have more about this soon when I can convince Doug that it's OK to open the Kimono a bit more...

Deep Core

The Deep core is a multi-function power conditioner that re-defines the category. The deep core is designed to not only provide clean, spur free power but it also allows the user to optimize the power delivery interface via a user adjustment. The optimization of the power delivery interface can significantly affect sound quality as the prime power source is a major contributor to attributes such as the noise floor and dynamic range of the system. The deep core can be used with almost any system configuration providing optimized power for both source components and power amplifiers. The deep core has the following major attributes;

·       An Input circuit that features a unique DC snubber which stops any DC , constant or transient, imposed upon the power lines from passing through the deep core and into the system. DC can saturate the transformers of source components and cause voltage fluctuations.

·       After the DC snubber the deep core has a complex common mode filter designed to suppress any RF signals that may be riding on the power lines. This RF energy can raise the noise floor and affect the total dynamic range of the system. The EMI filter is implemented with high quality magnetics that will not saturate under high current conditions

·       After the common mode filter a second EMI/RFI filter is implemented that further cleanses the power of unwanted out of band products. This additional filter includes integrated surge suppression to insure that no high voltage transients, such as the voltage from a lightning strike, will pass through the system

·       The last stage of the deep core contains the adjustable power delivery interface. This interface allows the user to optimize the power delivery to his or her system. This unique capability allows the power core performance to be optimized for each individual user case

The deep core should be connected directly to the desired components as it is the “final” word in power conditioning. Its unique ability to not only fully cleanse AC power sources of both DC and RF noise but to also optimize the power delivery is unique among competing products.

Further - I can say  that we like Deep Core IN FRONT OF the Equi=Core products. This is contrary to how I was using it in the beginning... this is MUCH BETTER IMHO...

Deep Core will be priced at $995 - talk to us about early adopter pricing.

Thank You,

Mark
I love these cords, I run them from Hoover Dam to my house......no, seriously, @jazzonthehudson  has the best power solution, an isolation transformer is the way to go.   A snake oil free solution IMO.
@lak

What are the ISO Pucks? Can they be used with the Deep Core and the CPT 300 boxes?
lake and ozzy,

  I am sure am too! Especially after I read worldwidewholesales text, a few months ago, about hooking up the Akiko Corelli to the 1200 resulted in unreal imaging and air around the instruments. When I spoke to Mark about this he said that the Deep Core with the 1200 or 1800 would yield even better results!
@aniwolfe my understanding is the ISO Pucks could be used under any of the products (1200, 1800, 300, etc), probably any component you wish. Tender feet work also as other brands probably would.

@ozzy

I replied to the message that I saw today. I am not aware of missing any further messages (no grunting allowed :))...

You are to receive TWO of the Deep Core Alpha Samples which I promised. I mentioned that the first boards were not thick enough to carry max current - so we re-made all of them. We want to put our Best Foot Forward for this very important product.

I will also say again here - my wife and I have been very busy so we send 10 to 12 packages daily with ISO-PUCKS and the other goodies. We have been doing them reversed alpha - so z was first. Everyone will get these for sure. Everyone...

@lak

You are correct re ISO-PUCKS...

@tuffy72561

I want to candidly state that the Corelli is an amazing and even wonderful product. I do feel that DEEP CORE will fulfill the dreams I have had about Power and Power Conditioning. IMHO one should have Balanced Power as a foundational item in their system - from there adding DEEP CORE will amaze even the most Flat Earthed Traveller in audio re Power. I am simply Gobsmacked by the results. I feel all of you will love it also.

Can DEEP CORE be used with other brands... YES, of course it can and it works. Have done so here with fine products from other companies.

Thanks to all of you for your support and help - Lynn and I sincerely appreciate it. Guys like lak and ozzy are the lifeblood of this very nice place.

Thanks again...

Mark
Our FIRST 1200/1800 Review from a magazine.

All of you have been so kind to us and I am so grateful for this thread and now as well, to Jeff Dorgay at TONEAudio...

Humble thanks for sure...

Mark

So has anybody received their Deep Core units yet? I'm anxiously awaiting my equi=core 1200 so I'm curious about the benefits from Deep Core from others here.

I haven’t.

In fact I don’t get a reply via email or voice mail anymore. I never received the feet for my 1800 either.

Mark, are you out there?

Non communication is my biggest disappointment in dealing with small businesses. It usually means problems.

ozzy

@ozzy

Of course I'm out here... :)

There are two ways to get a fast reply from me (well 3 if you count the messaging system here)...

You can call me on our published number here 720.317.9141 - I try to answer each call as they come in - but always rerturn calls or text messages... (Text is fine too - I answer those)...

You can e-mail me corepowertech@outlook.com

I have received calls from and I either text or call back. In your case Ozzy I sent through a text message to update...

Pucks are going at a rate of about 10 packages per days. We try to do more at night - but we poop out around 8:30pm these days.

DEEP CORE to reiterate what I have said before has NOT shipped. Doug has approved the final units now and we brought in thicker PCB's (heavier trace as well) to carry the necessary current. They work great and they will ship this coming week. Rick just machined panels for us...

We are extremely busy but I always retunrs calls, text messages and contact via e-mail --- that said, we did just learn that our contact web form is not working properly yet again. Our web master is fixing it.

There are no problems here other than being extremely busy. Shipments are on time and in good order. We haven't missed a one...

WE ARE ON TIME...

Pucks will arrive - and beta testers will get DEEP CORE. Further information on DEEP CORE to come.

Ozzy - each call you've made has been returned by call back or text. I do very much appreciate you :)

Thanks to all...

Mark

@aniwolfe

Today alone I have spoken directly with 2 new CPT customers (Thanks Guys) and two older pro's...

I just changed my CPT phone yesterday to an iPhone RED as they seem to be easier to deal with than my LG V20 Android phone...

I'm here for you folks...

In fairness to ozzy - he has called me - and I texted back right away. He may be calling me from a Land Line...

I called and left a message... :)

Our problem is simply not enough hours in the day - and with Axpona coming I had a ton to prepare for Emerald Physics. Two pallets of "stuff" and almost 1100 pounds. Whew...

Thanks

Mark

Mark,
I have emailed you with no return response and I called the other day and left a message for you to call me back. Evidently after I posted on this thread that I was unable to contact you there now is a message (within the last couple of hours) on the answering machine.Texting me is useless. Since I retired a few years back I do not own a cell phone. I probably will get another someday but for now I don’t miss it.

You say you are sending out the CPT 1800/1200 feet at 10 packs a day. I must have been one of the first few users of the CPT 1800 or 1200 units, so I don’t understand why it is taking so long to get the feet. Has anyone received them? Right now I’m using vibrapods under it.

The Deep Core has been coming since October, please give a realistic timeframe.

Growing pains is tough, you have a good product in the balanced power supply CPT  300/1800/1200 units. Perhaps you are trying to produce more items than you can?

ozzy

Oz...i think your medicine needs to be increased!!  Relax and let Mark proceed at HIS pace..not yours..and get a cell phone..!
ozzy:

ozzy,

Mark replied to you with this, all the way back on March 28.

I know it's tough having to wait, but remember the proverb, "patience is a virtue." If that one doesn't work, I'll relate this to music with, "Hakuna Matata" or "Don't Worry, Be Happy." 😃 It'll save you some stress, and provide you a hopefully longer and happier life.

Mark,

Congrats on the 1200/1800 review, and I hope you have a great Axpona!

I'm looking forward to DEEP CORE! 😎

And can someone please PM me a link to pics of the Deep Core renders? That way Mark can take care of his many other responsibilities. Thanks! 😀
