Has anyone tried these stunning new CPT power cord?

Considering the many, many brands of power cords I've tried in my very well accomplished high-end system, I have never been so impacted by these Core Power Technology power cords. Within a very short period(15-20) minutes my system literally came alive. Soundstage opened wider and deeper. The background became dead silent, space between instruments and stage members were more focused and everything sounded cleaner and musical than ever. My highs had a glorious crispness and symbols shimmered. Midrange through my 2" horn became more dynamic and punchy. My 15" bass driver tightened and dug low with great control. My Rel G1 which is a fabulous sub on its own but with a CPT 150 on it is another story. Running high pass from my sub to my Audiozen Noah amplifier, music depth is just stunning. Lower end bass is authoritative and clean with solid grip and impact.
My experience with these power cords is truly magical. The scary part of the above is I only have one 150 on my sub and one 300 from my wall to my 6 outlet bar. I still need 3 more to complete my system. I could just imagine the level after that...In closing, I cannot emphasize enough to try one of these in your system. I CANNOT and WIIL NOT take these out as they are that good. But hold your jaw, cuz what you've been listening to will just become real after Core Power Technologies.

Cheers....and let the tapping begin.......

bacardi OP567 posts05-04-2016 4:28pm@ozzy , These power cords are never coming out of my system and in fact I am grabbing a couple more over the next month. Ozzy, I know you like to mix and match and even swap out cables all the time but for me the CPT are keepers. The Real Deal!

Hey Rum, didn't you say the same about HiDiamond too?  LOL!

I'll try when they offer a high current version for BIG amps.
I had an Equi-Tech 2Q and is the best active power conditioner I've owned.   It was replaced with 2 passive Weizhi PRS-6s and found SQ is more organic, fuller body and better tone with the Weizhi.

With that said, I'm considering a CPT 300 and see how it compares to Shunyata Sigma on the preamp and dac.

Is there a 30 day money back guarantee?   :-):-)
corepowertech / worldwidesales,

With a CPT 300, do you suggest plugging in the Weizhi PRS-6 or 20 amp line open duplex?    This Weizhi feeds the sources.
The problem with plugging into wall outlet is not enough wall outlets.   I have 2 20 amp lines with a Furutech GTX-D R duplex on each.  One line for amp and other for sources.

I'm surprise no complaints of degradation using a Wire World Matrix.

Interesting!   Does the connectors get hot?   What fuse size does your amp use?

CT-1 doesn't work with my amps.  They sound excellent on my DAC, one on digital and other on analog side.
Calloway, don't bother.  I was just curious and happy it's working for your amps.  Thanks!

BTW,  do you go direct from Lumin to amp or via a preamp?   I'm looking to add a SS DAC and considering Lumin.
Calloway & worldwidewholesales,

Currently I have a tube and SS amp, tube pre and dac and looking to add a SS pre and dac.   I always prefer preamp in the chain so it's possible with a Lumin, I don't need a pre, killing 2 birds with one stone. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I have 3 of them and they have no noise, hum or anything like that.
My EQUI=CORE 300 don't hum.   3 1200 and 1800?
corepowertech,

How quiet are the transformers?    From my past experience, large transformers hum if not properly isolated.

corepowertech,

So far impressed with EQUI=CORE 300 on pre and dac.   What's the 1200 and 1800 retail price?
has anyone tried connecting the equi-core 1200w and equi-core 300w in series? is there any slight improvement?
i'm thinking of buying a big equi-core 1200w and connecting the smaller equi-core power cables(which i presently have 2) DIRECTLY into one of the receptacles.(1200w)
I have 2 equi=core 300 plug into a passive Weizhi PRS-6.

This is the same cable on a equi=core.  Emerald Physics branded Power Cable that you can buy and use with a Power=Core 1200w.
CPT Equi=Core 300s performance is AVERAGE in my system so instead of selling, I decided to modify them.   Just got them back and will report once burned in.
I will say that CPT cords are anything but AVERAGE. We have tested them against most of our reference power cords and we are at 94 power cords tested, there is nothing average about CPT cords. By far one of the best power cords we have tested, under $5000, crazy value.
AVERAGE in MY system!    Actually I prefer a $400 power cord ... everything is system and personal preference dependent.
lak , I have 2 CPT Equi=Core 300. I tried them on VAC SigMKIIa SE preamp, Lampizator Atlantic, MW Sony HAP-Z1ES on both digital and analog and Weizhi PRS-6 feeding my sources.   Power cables have 450+ hours ... burn in 10 days on old CRT TV before use. 300 is too small for my tube mono and SS amps so didn’t try. 300 is very quiet but lacks resolution compared to my other cables.

worldwidewholesales , I’m not arm with any fancy degrees but just trust my EAR and use what sounds best to me. I appreciate your offer but don’t understand how forwarding tons of satisfied customers will change my situation? With that said, I’m very happy for all your satisfied customers discovered a cable that works in the system.

As we speak, the modified CPT 300s are cooking so will update results. I would just sell them if not for the balanced power ... had an Equi-Tech 2Q so familiar with balanced power so worst case scenario is use them in HT.
@jmcgrogan2, Thanks for the support.

Kind of funny, when I approach my dealer about the mod, turns out he has a CPT 300 and already performed the mod I was considering.  :-):-)

lak, worldwidewholesales, will report results after settle in my system.

I got my modified CPT 300s back and after 8 days of break in, inserted in the system yesterday and very please with the results.   The mod is relatively inexpensive and will provide more details after more hours on them.
Update on my modified CPT 300.

I stumbled on Furutech FP-S55N / FP-S032N and Nanotec #308 Nano AuAg bulk power cables thanks to @fork. I have 6 made with Furutech NCF connectors. NCF connector is $400 each but worth it in comparison on same cable. These cables are resolving, full bodied, linear and transparent. Whenever I had a CPT 300 in the system, quiet and transparent but had an urge to turn up the volume. Information is missing and volume level was NOT the problem..

I thought about replacing CPT 300 cables with Furutech FP-S032N ... Been working with Mike Garner at Tweek Geek, a great guy never tried to squeeze an extra penny from me. Turns out he has a CPT 300, had similar experience and replaced his with FP-S032N and connectors 90% SQ of NCF but much less expensive. I had both modified and VERY VERY satisfied with the results.

If anyone is interested, contact Mike and demo his cable before modification.  Feel free PM me for more info.
@bacardi , Nano AuAg takes a minimum 150 hours of break-in so had it hooked up to old CRT TV for 8 days before listening.   Had in system for ~2 weeks now and sounds very good.

The modification was not very expensive.   If I gone with NCF connectors then additional $800 so thanks to Mike Garner suggesting his connectors.

My 1st bulk cable was #308 + Furutech F11 connectors for $400.   It blew away HiDiamond P4 on a Hegel H30.   P4 was muffled, rolled off, not as transparent ...

Anyone in my area, 01810, you're welcome to drop by and listen.
yoby, it's rhodium plated copper conductors in a solid metal milled body, decorated with carbon fiber

https://www.tweekgeek.com/the-system-upgrade-in-a-power-cord/

Since CPT 300 is rated 300 watts, he suggested Furutech FP-S022N instead of FP-S032N at 1/2 the price to save money.   I went with FP-S032N.
Thank you knghifi. So, do you have their version of the Bybee AC module incorporated into your CPT 300 as well?
@yoby  ,just replaced cable with Furutech FP-S032N and connectors.

@bacardi
I do think a better comparison may be with a P3.5 as it is IMO the best power cord in the Hidiamond line.
Really? $400 to $2700 not a fair comparison? :-)

I believe that the CPT-300 is still a fantastic cord and with a certain tweak takes it to a higher level....best so far.....
Yes but you're getting what you paid for.  No tweak, just replace cable and connectors.

What if you have a balanced power conditioner, would you use the stock power cables?    Essentially I'm just using different power cables with the balanced power unit.

If you think stock is "best so far", contact Mike Garner and get the mod. My system has evolved to a point where I can't use stock.

@lak  Furutech US distributor is constantly out of stock. Don't know if a supply or demand problem. One time I had to wait 6 weeks for 4 NCF connectors.

@corepowertech
Thanks for producing a reasonably priced innovative cable that a large audience can enjoy.  Price for a CPT power cable + mod is still relatively inexpensive compare to the competition but with superior sound from my experience.

I have 2 Weizhi PRS-6s and next mod is replacing IEC and receptacles with Furutech NCF one at a time.
@bacardi I don't considered replacing a captive power cable by a PROFESSIONAL extreme.  The modified unit looks exactly like stock except for a different cable.

Resale value is never a big factor in my purchasing decisions especially at this price.   Furutech FP-S032N $130 per meter and connector $100 each so for parts, $590 total retail.  Excellent ROI!

I doubt upgrading the power cable and connector is a deal breaker with most EDUCATED consumers if they compare to stock.  Yes too each their own!
@agriculturist  lak is correct, no soldering is required with Furutech NCF connectors, just a screwdriver.   Mike Garner built all the Furutech cables for me.
jay23, From my experience with many many power conditioners is they reduced more than just noise so prefer power distributors that also non-current limiting and works for my current hungry amps.

calloway, HB Cable Marble is a power distributor and would be surprised if it doesn't improve your and most systems.   Here's a review;  HB Cable Marble
