I don't believe the numbers. The vaccinations are the way they will ID chip us. I expect them to make it mandatory at some point.
CAN WE AUDIOPHILES DO OUR PART?
So we're all tired of hearing about nothing but Covid-19 (or, as I term it, the C-Plague). What can we do, as audiophiles, to help with all this.
I was amazed, and delighted, when I went to the Cardas website to see that they are doing their part. Go to their website and you'll see their director, Angela Cardas, wearing a mask. If you click on the Cardas Nautilus logo in the upper left corner, you'll see pictures of people there in the factory making masks with sewing machines. I called the company to congratulate them, and spoke with a woman named Darla, who said it was their way, during this economic slump, to keep their employees working and also their way of trying to "do our part."
I'm not writing all this to advertise Cardas products. They are a very good company, but trust your ears, not anything I write, when it comes to buying their products. They do get credit, however, for helping me come to a realization that pushed me in the right direction. I called a woman I am friends with, who is 85 years old and is a good seamstress, to suggest she start making masks. She already was--and is. By phone she has organized several other women to do the same, and right now they are needing more material and elastic. I managed to gather about 50 pounds of material and am starting to gather elastic while also getting more material. But I don't sew. I can't help out with that. Any ideas as to what we--all of us who are good with our ears and focused with our budgets--can do to help out in other ways?
I realize this is an odd topic to bring to an audio forum, but it was a very socially responsible audio company that got me to thinking about it, and frankly I believe I should be socially responsible enough to do what I can to get other people to thinking about it. While also being open to other people's ideas about ways someone like me who is "just an audiophile" can help.
Thank you, in advance, for any and all ideas on this.

"I don’t believe the numbers."Neither do I. Statistics sucks. (and I suck at statistics so I may be a little biased) Why would anyone put a chip into people who are willingly spying on themselves anyway? Nobody here with Instagram, Facebook, e-mail, and whatever other audio forum you visit? On a more serious note, would that chip implanted via a drop of vaccine trigger an alarm at the airport security check? |
Mainly you prove my statements correct. I appreciate it. Thank you. It saves me time. Good to have a court jester to provide a running commentary. geoffkait21,888 posts05-18-2020 6:57pmLooking on the bright side at least I can prove something whereas heaudio123 has yet to prove anything. Or, if I may speak frankly, even evidence of anything. Mostly it’s a lot of who shot John. |

Maybe they should change the name from planet Earth to planet Corona where all it's inhabitants wear masks and now they can't distinguish the good guys from the bad. Sounds like there is a war on to destroy the US economy, good way to bring down a country. There is also a war on oxygen where as 5G messes with the oxygen molecules in our bodies and the masks reduce our oxygen levels. If you guessed right people are now becoming sick from wearing masks. Back to the subject matter, yes more time spent at home with our stereo systems doesn;t sound like too bad a deal and taking reasonable precautions as audiophiles or anyone else for that matter should be observed as long as they are reasonable. |
The "C" (along with other events), is being weaponized and over inflated by a certain side for a positive result in the fall. Wake up sheeple. This was all used as a dry run to see how compliant we would be and we've failed miserably. Today its masks. Tomorrow, mandatory vaccines, chips, whatever. Make our forefathers proud and stand up to tyranny. |
The "C" will stay with us forever... Unlike this thread... Lol. If you don’t want to get it, then stay home. Listen to music and relax.. during which, allowing your immune system to become weakened from prolonged seclusion from other people. Believe what the mainstream says and continue giving them what they want... compliance by being obedient little sheeple. |
Somebody mentioned vaccines and guess who's pushing vaccines, no other then Bill Gates. A billionaire, high school drop-out with no medical background. Someone should check the safety of these vaccines as they may be more harmful then the virus itself. He should be the first one to get the shot on tv with an honest doctor of our choice as a witness. We know that many people are leaving nasty posts on his website and he can't delete them fast enough! I never said not to protect yourself but don't wear the mask no more then you have to, for example like driving in your car. Again people are becoming ill from them. |

"He’s probably just vengeful of the girls in high school that mocked him, would’nt accompany him to the Prom. 😂"I wonder what those girls are thinking about themselves now. "His PR people dress him in a Mr Rogers type sweater before the camera ..."It seems that they do that even when he is off camera. |
You guys need to stop watching One America News and Fox. FYI, Bill Gates has given away more money than the next 20 richest billionaires in the world (Forbes). He is not researching or making a vaccine, he is GIVING money to fund it. No one is going to inject you with any vaccine with a chip in it. We don’t have that technology yet. One of the studies is to give a very low dose of the virus so your body builds up its own Antibodies to the virus. If you don’t want to get vaccinated when there is a cure, that is your business. My family will take the vaccine when available. I care less and have zero sympathy for anyone who refuses the vaccine and dies from the virus once it is readily available to us regular peons. I find it discouraging that almost all the other major countries have this virus under control while cases are rising rapidly here. That is mostly because people aren’t wearing masks and aren’t social distancing and other reasons. Most of the governments in the other countries got ahead of the virus in the beginning, our government denied it even existed. |

@glupson if people only listen to the mainstream narrative than EVERYTHING else seems like disconnected words. Strains of the cold have been around for how long? Strains of the flu have been around for how long? Strains of coronavirus have been around for how long? If anyone thinks for a second that all of a sudden they can conjure up some miracle vaccine for the NOVEL coronavirus, they are living in la-la land. As an American I hate to say this but a certain side is wringing their hands at the opportunity that the "C" has given them. "Never let a good crisis go to waste". My advice: listen to some Chopin, some Schubert and some Chet Baker and hope for the best. |
geoffkait, I like you a great deal, you have been a major contributer here in these forums. I can't red-pill you the truth (obviously) about who is really running this world but in time the truth will be exposed and you and the rest of the people (of the same mindset) that have been asleep will receive a healthy dose of the truth soon enough. Enjoy the matrix while you can! |
stereo5, "I find it discouraging that almost all the other major countries have this virus under control while cases are rising rapidly here."I assume that by "here" you mean U.S.A. Well, "under control" is a very stretchable term and, even if we consider Brazil a minor, Europe is on the edge with "control". "Most of the governments in the other countries got ahead of the virus in the beginning, our government denied it even existed."Not one gevernement has actually gotten ahead. Some were quicker to respond, that is for sure, but everyone has been quite lost. |
