Best drink while listening to your rig?

Your favorite...
single malts?
beers?
wines?

For me (at the moment; subject to change in mood):
Single malt: Lagavulin
Beer: Westmalle Trippel
Wine: geessh... Caymus Cab? Nautilus Savignon Blanc (NZ)
128x128cpdunn99
Single Malt: Caol Ila 12 (affordable, available and awesome)

Beers - Winter: Youngs Double Chocolate Stout Summer: Hoegarden

Wine: Not much experience, but I've enjoyed a few nice petite sirahs

Cheap and dirty party starter: Four Loko Lemonade!
Gkella must be a person of quality and class . I second his C.R. and coke or red wine . Fi and rye what else do you really need ?
Has no one mentioned an older Calvados and a piece of dark chocolate? If out of Calvados, try a Moscato Grappa.
Good beer. Just about anything from Deschutes Brewery. Can't wait for the Cinder Cone!
New Holland Dragon's Milk from their high grav series. Macallan full cask strength single malt. And yes, a fire is a welcome compliment.
Lately it has been Skull Splitter (beer) - an Orcadian Ale by Orkney. Aroma, taste, and finish are superb.
Happy to see this thread still has some life!

Been listening to some older jazz recordings of Hank Mobely. Fantastic. Goes great with Balvenie Double Wood single malt which Costco here has for $37!
Ayala's Herbal Water, cloves, cardamon, cinnamon. No alcohol when cartridge is being used!!! Cd's a good red wine.
Dogfish Indian Brown Ale for rock, Ponzi Pinot Noir or Hendry Block 7 Zinfandel for classical and jazz.
Rock - Dogfish head 90 minute IPA
Classical or laid back Jazz - a nice red (Don Melchor cab is a good one)
Big band - Gin and tonic with a squeeze of fresh lime.
Salsa - Milagro tequila with 1/2 an orange and lime with a splash of Cointreau.

More often than not it's just water.

Mirror Pond Pale Ale (Deschutes Brewery)

Hands down the best beer in the world to me. If you folks havent tried it and can get it, I would give it a try. coming from the northwest I like my beer a bit hoppy.

Bridgeport Blue Heron Pale ale

Great less thick beer and it's not as hoppy and very smooth.

Widmer Hefeweizen

Great when it's warm out.
Let's get more specific...
digital -- a good silver Tequila
analog -- anything red from Burgundy
Most recent favorite brews: Skull Splitter (Orkney Brewers, Scotland); Saison Rue (The Bruery, CA); KBS (Founders Brewing, MI).
Pjudice: to get more specific yet, my preferences can depend on the type of music:

Some older jazz (Hank Mobley, Sonny Stitt) - Scotch
Crisp/clean jazz vocals (e.g., Tierney Sutton) - chardonnay
Smoky jazz vocals - Scotch
Chamber music - red or white wine
Rock - beer
20oz glass..lots of ice and 4"fingers" of your favorite Hi Test..and color (mix)...sit back and HOLD ON
I always have a bottle of Stoly in the freezer. A nice dry red from Cameron Hughes. In the summer I like Carona with lime.
Wow...10th anniversary of this thread! I was listening to some Christine Tobin the other day, which inspired me to make a beeline to the Lagavulin 16 yr old. Something about jazz and Scotch...
Try this new one please

A good Tawny Port. Warm, gentle, mellow, “tube-like” buzz. Not too aggressive, and not too ordinary - lol, kinda like me.
@Calloway - Phelps Cab is OUTSTANDING. Hell of a nice choice.

A lyric from MF Doom: "Oh I know, y'all wanna see a wino? Get the wine out"

Indeed.
@Tigmag1, your post inspired me to get some Blantons and it is very good, very unique. If you like single barrel, you should try Balvenie 15 single barrel, best dollar for dollar scotch you can get.
