AND A

HAPPY EASTER TO ALL THAT CELEBRATE THIS HOLIDAY!

The same wishes to you Yogiboy. I started this morning with Bach Mass in B Minor along with the lovely weather with Church bells in the backround!
Likewise Yogiboy. Started off the Holiday with King of Kings and will call all the family we now can not travel to visit. The best to you and yours.
@isochronism , I don't necessarily "celebrate" this holiday but I did also play the B Minor Mass this morning.
I just felt it was appropriate.
And a Happy Easter to you as well, may we all rise from the current situation.

God’s Blessings to All
Happy Easter to you Yogiboy and to all who celebrate.
Later this afternoon my wife and I will celebrate Easter with some of our family members using Voom.

Peace and health to all
Well, I didn’t have the Messiah handy so the second choice is Gregorian chants. Beautiful music.
Same to you yogiboy.  This Easter has had it's challenges to say the least.  I am sad to say I felt a bit down today given the circumstances of our pandemic.  Not a failure of Easter, rather the failures of being human.  In any event, some of the music mentioned above does temper this and gives us hope in our risen Lord!
Happy Easter!

Here's a limerick for my kids that launched their treasure hunt this morning:

There once was a virus so near,
We had  to “distance” those dear;
But Easter ain’t stoppin’
The eggs’ll go poppin’
Because chocolate’s the vaccine for fear.

I don't celebrate it but back at ya yogiboy and Happy Easter to all who do!
Happy Easter indeed. To those who celebrate the greatest gift of all, we can truly be thankful at this difficult time. Guten Pesach to our bothers and sisters who still await the Messiah and celebrate the release from bondage.
@jond  Nice example of those on this forum who can post in a positive way even when they do not have a commonality.  God bless you man.
Glory to God in the highest
Glory to God in the highest
Our hope has appeared
God has drawn near
Glory to God alone

Happy Easter to all.
Happy Easter everyone! Christ is risen, alleluia, alleluia! When I got up this morning, I listened to I guess 7 recordings of the Hallelujah chorus from Messiah.
Late - but my Easter favorite is Scheherazade (Rimsky-Korsakov).
Happy Keester!
hilde45, your words are now immortalized: I have forwarded your limerick into the ether. Thank you!
Most of the people in my realm call it "Resurection Sunday."  Ester was a goddess of fertility; that is where the bunnies and chicks thing comes from.
