Where is best place to sell vintage WiFi?

My husband has recently died and I’d like to sell his collection of vintage McIntosh, Denon and Klipsch collection. Suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!
PS I’m in NC.

www.usaudiomart.com is free and reasonably good. Audiogon.com charges a fee.  Unclear to me if it is better or worse than usaudiomart.com.  Craigslist is a reasonable choice if you are in a major city and don't want to deal with shipping.  tmraudio.com can't possibly be the place to get the best price but it might be the easiest.  Facebook marketplace is popular but I have never used it.  There may be local hifi stores that deal in used equipment also.  To find out what the equipment is worth look at the sold listings on hifishark.com/

yep thanks for the correction - it won't let me correct now. i believe most know what i mean at any rate.

Agree with laps. As a longtime owner of many McIntosh components, Audioclassics is great.

If you don’t want any headaches selling to individual people there’s a place called the music room that usually will buy or at least can sign the equipment. They go through it and make sure that it’s working properly and if it’s not they tell you how much it cost to fix it. They were super nice and they sent out a company to pick everything up, They pay the shipping. Then 34 weeks later I had a check. You’ll get a little bit less money from them versus selling it on your own but there’s no headache.

I'm sorry for you loss.

The Music Room aka TMRAudio is a secure way of selling with the least amount of trouble, involvement and risk.

Raysmtb1, didn't you intend to type 3-4 weeks?

I'm sorry for your loss.  May I ask what part of NC?  I live in Winston-Salem.

Audiogon is great, and well worth the modest cost.  You tend to get more qualified reponses.  It's definitely more suited to higher end audio than to mainstream level gear.

I've had some success with Marketplace, but the noise level is high.   Prepare to get a bunch of messages with the default, "Is this available".  Clearly, these are from rocket scientists.

USAM is a pretty good option as long as you're willing to ship to Canada.  Yes, even on the US version, this is most of your audience.

Can you see what they really sold for?  Or, just the asking price?

HIFIshark has both a "currently selling for" tab and a "already sold/expired" tab.

Audiogon first. For well known vintage brands like McIntosh ebay might be your best bet. I have never had good luck on the free audio sites.

Sorry for your loss!

skyfi in NY is very well know internationally . See Audiophilic recent YTV at their location

Audiogon is well worth a try, but I agree with audition__audio about the free audio sites. I've had some luck with eBay, but fees run about 13%, and shipping can be a problem, depending on how big the speakers are. I live in Wilmington, if I can help.

Thanks- the speakers are huge! I had a potential buyer but he said they wouldn’t fit in his space. I’ll take pics of them soon.

Thanks everyone! I've got to do a bit more research and get these pieces moving. You've all been so kind.
