Rachmaninoff's Third Symphony, in a lovely-sounding (yeah DG!) recording with the Philadelphia Orchestra conducted by Yannick Nezet Seguin. CD quality stream from Idagio. Mellow. Happy. Chock full of Rocky's ever wonderful tunes.
Whats playing on your system today?
Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.
I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....
Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....
Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

AC/DC-Live At River Plate(CD) Atlantic-Ultimate '70s R&B Smashes(R2 72964/CD) Elvis-An Afternoon In The Garden(CD) Melissa Etheridge/ST(CD) Another diverse mix of music! Etheridge's debut is criminally overlooked even by Audiophiles? IMO a top 25 pop/rock recording of the 1980's! River Plate is very well recorded for this genre. |
@monkeys_on_the_moon 👍 We all have our preferences and for some reason, they really float my boat. |
@nonoise I'd never heard of that group but just gave them a listen. Good stuff! |
