After playing Kreator which has decent SQ for extreme metal(wife now knows what extreme metal is). On "Broken Blossom" Tom Waits(I Never Talk To Strangers)plays and sings with Ms. Midler.

Really impressed with this release. SQ is great, the band is great and the pressings are dead quiet when they are supposed to be quiet.
I have early pressings of both studio albums and the live versions are close to the originals but with a fresh new sound.

The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Are you Experienced AP/QRP UHQR I heard musical information today that I have never heard before. And I have been listening to this album since 1967. I do feel the lower midrange is a little thin, though. I brought up the crossover on my sub from 30hz (where I typically have it at) to about 65hz and that added some, for my taste. But really, this is a special addition to my collection. I am glad that I got one.

Burgers by Hot Tuna. Simply fantastic album recording. Water Song is the pinnacle but Sunny Day Strut is probably better. The whole album just works and flows seamlessly. It really is a wonderful production. I also just love the album art and the photograph on the back side. It just reflects happiness in the moment of a wonderful era.
