@bkeske "Sir John Barbirolli conducts Vaughan Williams - Symphony No.5 In D Major" I absolutely love that piece! After working on his opera "Pilgrim's Progress for many years, RVW used several themes from the uncompleted opera in his Symphony 5, probably thinking that he'd ever complete the opera, so he might as well use the music. The opera is worth checking out, and it's fun to recognize the same themes popping up. |

Very happy to receive a box from Acoustic Sounds today. All three of these sound wonderful, but the Bluesey Burrell is perhaps the best sonically based on my first listen (except for the the kind of annoying tape hiss).
