Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

I like how some of you are uploading pictures - I'll have figure out how to do that on here!

Emerson Lake & Palmer - Work Volume 2.  Both copies I have are really nice.  It's going to be a toss up as far as which one to keep.

@big_greg  You could kept both by doubling up the vinyl and keeping the best jacket. Still saves space... sometimes with multiple pressings there is no SQ winner.

@dayglow, I've thought of doing that in the past.  I try to keep things matching as far as the cover and the matrix variations.  The first one was NM and has a nicer cover, the 2nd was very close to NM, but has a few scuffs and a price sticker on the outer sleeve, so it goes in the cull bin.

Neil Young / Live At Massey Hall 1971
2007 Reprise

A wonderful ‘you are there’ live double LP. Just Neil and a quiet, respectful audience. Nice.

Grateful Dead / The Best Of “Skeletons In The Closet”
1974 Warner Bros.

@bslon I really like that Live at Massey Hall recording, it has a very intimate feel to it.

@big_greg I agree and the great SQ and quiet vinyl add to that. I hadn’t listened to it in a long time, forgot how much I enjoy it.

@dtstevens 👍. My box finally arrived yesterday.  Welcome to the thread.  Keep’em coming.

The mix &  Mastering (RL) is as good as any 1/2 speed Master I have. It was shockingly good. What a shame that RL didn't do the Skynyrd releases.

A forgotten Southers Rock band who got some air play for "Mean to your Queenie" song. Not a dazzling album. But still a good album overall

@artemus_5

Good to know about 38 Special lp. I have it as well but It got so much radio play back in the day that I thought I'd had my fill .

James, you mean The Early Home Recordings? You sent me a link. I don’t think it’s available until early next month. I have it saved on Pop Market.
