What is the Best Sounding Stand Mount Speaker in the world?

Price no object.

Brand and Model is adequate.

If you have not listened to it,  please restrain yourself.

I raise this question because there is a maker claiming

to be the best. I am curious if it will garner votes.

Conclusion out tomorrow!!

Stay tuned!!!

That is an absurd question. It took me 3 years to build the 2 systems I have in the house, both rooms were so completely different. I had several sets of Dynaudio speakers in my main listening room, and have chosen the Confidence 20 as my my main floor end game speakers. None of the Dynaudio speakers sounded great in the basement, that is where frequency goes to die. I have a set of Capriccio Continuo 311 Ad monitor Speakers, and they are amazing. sharp articulate and precise.

what if you put a $600,000  pair of magico m9's on short stands, would they be best?

I am really impressed by all the stand mount speaker brands/models  that have been posted. My budget is less. While I have mostly used floorstanders, I will not let loose of my old Reference 3A  MM MMC two ways made in Loudon France. They eventually became known as De Capos. I am still looking for a floor stander that can match the mid bass, mid range, and treble while providing a decent low end. It never ends I guess.

Maybe if you put the $150K Grandinote Mach 36’s on short stands they might the best in the world 🤔🤔 😃

Adding my voice to the chorus praising the Dynaudio Heritage Special.

This is, to me, the quintessential real world bookshelf speaker - expensive but not outrageously so, with superlative performance in a timeless package.

Cabasse - La Sphère

Only stand mount that can keep up with  giant floorstanders

Sonus Faber Guarneri Homage circa 2004. By some cosmic twist of fate, a pristine pair is now playing beautifully in my home. I can only hope that when I have "moved on" these magnificent musical instruments will somehow find a new, and deserving home. Mille Grazie, to the esteemed Franco.

I have NO FREAKIN’ idea if these speakers are "the best" but they sure sound damn good. In fact, the OP’s question is, at heart, a logical fallacy. "Best?" compared to what. and filtered through ears, taste, systems, and more?

I pity the rampant abolutists who dare to post here. As if they have some sort of handle on "The Truth". All I am saying is let your ears and wallet sort it out for you. Big Swingin’ D’s are to be ignored. That’s what seems clear and obvious from my perspective.

Have a good day.

It is one of those absurd questions that garnered 160 responses.

The purpose of any query is to elicit responses. Absurd you say!

I am moving across the country this month and hope to organize

another Society out on the Kitsap Peninsula. If I succeed I will

approach to big boys for product to do a real comparison.

Who will come???

There is no best. They are all compromises, trade-offs and personal preferences.  Stupid question!
