What are you streaming tonight?

As we are in the modern age of music I thought I would see how this fares.
We have threads specific for cdp and tt so why not streaming as it is a modern media.
I don't care if you stream Tidal, Deezer, Spotify, Paradise Radio or any number of internet stations.
I would like you to share your tastes and method of streaming.

Right now I'm enjoying absolutely wonderful sound on a Primephonic (cd quality?) stream of the complete ballet Coppelia by Leo Delibes.  A Decca recording with Richard Bonynge conducting l'Orchestre de la Swisse Romande. Sweet as a nut. Ample soundstaging. Fine bass & dynamics. Tunes galore.
The Posies - Frosting in the Beater

Qobuz

Nice early 90s pop music.  Not sure how I missed it.
Soundtrack - In The Heights

Qobuz Hi-Res

Great energetic soundtrack!  Never saw the musical on stage but I am eager to see the film.
Julian Lage - Squint

Qobuz Hi-Res

Gentle guitar Jazz, reminiscent of Lenny Breau.
@16f4 -- I clicked on the Qobuz Home Page's "In the Heights" soundtrack, too. Excellent sound. To my ears the vocals were multi-miked but the sound was still spacious, clear & beautiful overall. Trouble is, despite the quality of the performances, eventually the music's sameness got the best of me.
Charles Mingus - Mingus At Carnegie Hall (Deluxe Edition) [2021 Remaster] [Live] (Live), Qobuz.  Fantastic!
big_greg

i was listening to the Mingus album on my HIFIMAN 400s. Great SQ and staging.
@16f4 The musicianship was really great on that recording also.  It seemed like everyone was "on".
Sleater-Kinney - Path of Wellness, Qobuz.  I liked this a lot, they seem to have matured a lot as musicians and songwriters.  That might not be a plus for fans of their early output, but I think it's more "accessible".
Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real - A Few Stars Apart, Qobuz Hi-Res.  I'm not usually much of a country fan, but this is really easy to listen to.
Danny Elfman - Big Mess, Qobuz Hi-Res.  I believe this is only his second solo album.  It's not a movie soundtrack, which is what he is known for (along with being the frontman for Oingo Boingo).  Probably not what you might expect.
big_greg,

I agree with you about Big Mess.    Not what I expected.

Danny Elfman - Big Mess

 Qobuz Hi-Res
Sting & Shaggy - 44/876

Qobuz Hi-Res

After Big Mess, I needed some happy music.

Big Star- #1 Album

Qobuz

A pleasant surprise! I was reading an article on Shortlist “The 55 Coolest Albums of All Time” (I’m a list junkie…) and came across this on.  Never heard of the group or the album, but I certainly recognized much of the music. The third song, “In The Street”, was the theme for That 70s Show.  All around cool album.

One of the reasons I like streaming is that it is easier to find things I overlooked.  There’s lots of music out there, not just the same old stuff I’ve listened to in the past.  I love a new (to me) discovery.
Tina Brooks - True Blue

Qobuz Hi-Res

Classic Blue Note Jazz from a great session saxophonist.  Apparently this is the only album he released in his lifetime.
Lots of Kenny Durham all afternoon, and at the moment, the wonderful Finnish pianist, Aki Rissanen, solo and with his longstanding trio members Antti Lotjonen and Teppo Makynen

These kids are Good...Real Good !
With a parcells one it gets better all the way through
I’m curious what anybody thinks of any of this, because I'm pretty impressed with most of it
Been on the road again checking in with the parental units.  Back home and relaxing in my music room, checking the new stuff on Qobuz

Jam & Lewis - Jam & Lewis Vol 1 in Hi-Res
Good, old-fashioned R&B.  It’ll get you hopping on the dance floor.

Os Mutantes - Os Mutantes

They have been called a Brazilian version of the Velvet Underground because of their wide-ranging effect on musica popular do brasil (MPB).  If you are curious at all about Brazilian music, please check this out.
Attacca Quartet - Real Life, Qobuz Hi-Res.  What do you get when you mix a classical string quartet with electronica?  This.  I like it.
Stevie Wonder - Songs in the Key of Life

Qobuz Hi-Res

Released 45 years ago, and still holds it own.
Alice Coltrane - Kirtan: Turiya Sings, Qobuz Hi-Res.

These are some "found" (by her son Ravi) recordings of her chanting in Sanksrit accompanied by her Wurlitzer organ, which on the surface, doesn't sound like a fun time, but her voice and the organ are very soothing and I found it a very enjoyable listen.
@big_greg Thank you for the recommendation, I was going to miss that gem (Alice Coltrane)
disconapse
Album: progress
Suggested first listen:  wrong number or hailey's comet
Amazon HD

Yes, lower case lol.
Dee Gees (Foo Fighters) - Hail Satin, Qobuz.  I'm not really a Foo Fighters fan, and thought I wouldn't care for a Bee Gees tribute, but they actually did a very good and respectful homage to the Bee Gees.  Unfortunately, there are some Foo Fighters songs at the end, which don't hold up to the Bee Gees songs, not to mention the stark contrast it creates.
Darkside - Spiral, Qobuz Hi-Res.  Pretty cool mix of electronics and guitars that doesn't fit into a neat "category".
Billie Eilish - Happier than Ever, Qobuz Hi-Res.  I really like this, she has a great voice and the lyrics are really sharp and insightful and the production is great.
Los Lobos - Native Sons, Qobuz Hi-Res.  This is a really cool set of cover songs (except for one original composition) of artists from L.A., all tastefully done.
More L.A. themed music - Naia Izumi - A Residency in the Los Angeles Area, Qobuz Hi-Res.  This guy has some chops!  It's in the "soul" category, but it could also fall into funk, prog rock, or jazz.  There's some really nice guitar work and the production is really good.
Prince - Welcome 2 America, Qobuz Hi-Res.  A "found" album.  It was Prince, so there's that, but it was kind of "meh".
Lump - Animal, Qobuz Hi-Res.  This is one of my favorite recent discoveries, very cool blend of electronica and folkish songs.
The 50th Anniversary "Super Deluxe" edition of George Harrison's All Things Must Pass on Qobuz Hi-Res.  It includes a bunch of extras curated by his son Dhani.  I'm not sure I'll spend the 4 1/2 hours to wade through all the extras, but the album proper sounds really wonderful.
Linn's Jazz channel...Absolutely love it.  Introduced me to Nikki Yanofksy...her voice is wonderful.
