Trouble Contacting Clear Day Cables

Similar experience all last week. 

I had tried to reach Paul a couple of months back, but no response. While it was true that he was getting better he mentioned to me that it is taking more time to heal after his surgery. I hope Paul is doing alright and is back soon.

I spoke to Paul in May, he was not doing well, suffering from an ailment unrelated to his back surgery.  I tried to follow up with him quite a few times after that and was uncharacteristically unable to connect.  I think of Paul every day, one of the finest gentlemen I've ever met.  

Yes He is not doing cables at this time...I was able to received his email, back pain is putting him on the side....

The impression I have of Paul after a few communications at a troubled time for me was he is simply as good as it gets.

I am deeply saddened by this news and pray for a FULL recovery soon.

Paul was diagnosed with cancer. About a month ago he told me he is not going to recover.

As clients of his I can tell you that hearing well wishes from us touches his heart, but he’s been trying to fight this for awhile now and it’s really beat him down both mentally and physically. Let’s keep him in our prayers and try to support him as best we can during this time in his life. 

Paul is a great guy, one of the best , He will send you his cable, without deposit, Prayers for Paul, Paul don’t lose hope, will pray for you....

Paul is a true professional and man full of integrity.  Sorry to hear of his illness.  

Paul is a devout Christian who, unlike most of us, practices what he preaches .My prayers will go out to him with the certain knowledge he will receive a great welcome on the day that comes to us all .

Perhaps it is accurate to state that this man is truly a "devout Christian" but please explain to the rest of us on what facts, basis, or evidence do your arrive at your damning claim that "most" of us don't practice what we preach and please explain what authority, accreditation or certification entitles you to render such judgment on those here who for the most part post anonymously?

I've had some interaction with Paul, and as schubert said, he walks it like he talks it.

Chazzzy, thanks for the update.  I am shocked to hear he has terminal cancer, and it makes me very sad to hear this.  
Let's not turn this thread into something negative by bickering about one person's intentions.  I fully believe that schubert did not mean to be condescending to the rest of us when he wrote the nice words that he did about Paul.
Let's all please use this thread as a means of spreading positive energy to Paul so that he may heal.

Please keep Paul in your prayers everyone.
His faith has really been tested. He's been physically very active most of his life and thru this time his body has literally failed him in almost every aspect. I don't want to go into all the details but he's become very very discouraged.

I did have a religious conversation several years ago with Paul and i was very impressed with his piety and humility ! I had no doubt I was in the presence of a better Christian than myself .Paul does truly love his neighbor and everyone is his neighbor. .He will come out of his dark night of the soul into the light .

I did not know this. Paul is such a nice gentleman. I mean, in this day and age, who sends you $500 worth of cables for free to test in your system, and that too without a credit card? He has this faith in his fellow audio community members. Excellent cables, were the bonus.As @chazzy007 said - Please keep Paul in your prayers everyone.

I tried some cables from Paul in the beginning of this year, and he is just a really nice man. As it turned out, they were not the right fit for my system, and he was very courteous in taking them back. We had several very nice discussions about different subjects, and it was easy to feel that I had known him for years. My thoughts will be with him. 

Good Lord this makes me very sad. Paul's kindness, encouragement and wisdom helped save my life when I was in an extreme amount of distress a few years back.  Those of us who've been fortunate enough to talk to him are very blessed.  I posted earlier that I think about Paul every day, that will never stop.  

Paul is a devout Christian, We fellowship on the phone many times for hrs, He even send me his picture, big guy with muscles.i think , He is giving some of his cable to His church too, Paul I will pray for you,. Yoo and I Jesus is our mighty Healer.....

I find myself thinking of you and hoping the Lord intercedes on your behalf so you may continue your fine (by example) ministry here on Earth.  Keep fighting the good fight!

I bought some cables from Paul in the past and spoke with him on the phone occasionally.  A wonderful person.  God bless!!!

@olesno, yes Paul is a wonderful person. Honest and a thorough gentleman! The reason many of us are experiencing great pleasure listening to our system is because of him.Unfortunately he has closed business because of deteriorating health. As @hifiman5 said, I hope and pray for a miracle in his recovery.

The last I spoke to Paul was before I bought my last set of speaker cables of another make, about 4-5 months ago. We talked extensively about my system, cables, audiophiles, and his deteriorating health with what he had to look forward to. 

It was very sobering, to say the least. He tried as hard as he could to overcome setback after setback, and wished he could accommodate all the orders coming in. 

I wish him an easy passing knowing what my parents went through.

Bad things happen to good people, and visa versa.

Been sometime since I have spoken with Paul unfortunately. As mentioned above by others, Paul is a great guy with a big heart and the world could use a lot more people like him that's for sure. Being a Christian It didn't take long to figure out Paul is a Christian as well when we first spoke. I can only imagine what Paul is going through and I can only hope he is reading these messages and I encourage him to stay strong in his Faith as others are watching him and as messed up as it must feel there is a plan for all of this. Will be praying for you - God Bless you Paul.
