Perfect Path Technologies: Omega E mat

I’m curious about this product from Perfect Path Technologies and would like to hear from those that have experience with it. I’ve bought and used the Total Contact enhancer and like what it does for my system so I’m interested in hearing how this Omega E mat performs.

Right now I only have one in the breaker box and it is placed over my 3 dedicated audio breakers.
Maybe as suggested I need more. Do you double the 2 mats or spread them out over all the breakers?

ozzy
Ozzy ...

My circuit breaker box is just a little larger than the size of an Omega E-Mat. So, I put two in there and just closed the door. Subsequently, I pasted the breaker switches and the mains with Total Contact. Putting the two mats in the box was really effective. I also have a sub-panel in the master bedroom closet. Putting two mats in there was a significant improvement as well.

The combination of the mats and the TC really complement each other. I suggest you contact Tim and get some TC and really go to town on your system. At this point, the noise floor of my system is beyond disbelief. No joke.

If you're worried about the TC degrading over time, don't be. I've had many of my connections pasted for over two years now, with no degradation at all. In fact, I think it just continues to improve.

Again ... congrats on your results. :-)

Hi ozzy: Why did you remove the High Fidelity MC .05s from your system? What are you going to do with them now? Jeff
A very effective place to put the small Alpha cards is on any Wall Warts that are in your audio circuit. Very impressive in the improved sonic effect.
Ozzy- On my circuit breaker box I found two side by side to cover all the circuits to be the most effective. I did eventually add two more to even greater benefit.

I just received my e cards yesterday (fast delivery) but I just put them in my main system this evening. Two on the stock umbilical cord at each point of connection. One on the Audience R2P-TO power conditioner. One under the Eichmanns power strip and one on the DNM preamp’s power supply. I wil probably do some further shifting around to find the best placement for my system.

The improvements are definitely noticeable in more tuneful, powerful bass and a more detailed, organic treble and midrange. Soundstage has also improved some. The notes fade out more completely and are better defined. The PRaT is definitely improved.

Thanks for great products and fast delivery Tim!

Yes---thirty-four pages of positive attestations regarding the breakthrough products of PPT.
yoby,
I sold all of the MC-05's.

Frank, David,
I do have only one Omega mat in my circuit breaker box, but I also placed one underneath my Niagara 7000. Seems to have a pretty good effect there.

ozzy
Ozzy ...

As I said in a previous post ... the more mats, the better the sound gets. Try two or three in your circuit breaker box, as that seems to be the most effective place to start with them. Then add mats under your sources as the budget allows.  Just keep stacking them up. *lol*

Also, the Omega E-Mats work really well in combination with PPT's Total Contact. Its a synergy kind of thing.

Although I've never tried them, based upon several reports from users, the MC-05's seem to degrade the effect of the Omega E-Mats. Not knocking the product here ... just reporting on what other's have shared with me.

The sound I'm getting from red-book CD's is absolutely fantastic. Its been a solid four weeks since we pasted the circuit breaker switches and the mains with TC. This is a phenomenal breakthrough in sound. I'm going to attempt to get several A'goner's over for a listening session this coming week and they can report here what it's all about. Zowie!

Mas, MriBob, and Steve ... you guys have to come over to hear what's going on here.

Frank
ozzy:
I am glad you are using the Omega Mats. I would recommend the next step is to buy a syringe of the Total Contact, and treat all connections you can reach in the circuit breaker box (with the whole house breaker turned off of course).
At my house I treated about 76 connections. Try to also treat the main ground connection and if possible the circuit breakers that are involved with the audio system. I did it in three sessions as to not get overly tired and make a mistake. I did one wire at a time as to not re- hook up any thing wrong.

This will really augment the good effects you are getting with the Omega Mats.

Hi every one I've been following these ppt threads for a few months now (it took that long to read through them).

It's such a interesting journey reading the threads as there have been many sceptics won over to trying these products and then converted into true believers.

I'm going to be taking the plunge on a bundle soon from Tim.

Question for @grannyring as I have the tdai3400. A while back you mentioned having to remove an audio magic pulse rfi suppressor. I take it this was not a standard tdai3400 component but something you had previously experimented with ?
Correct, I added the Audio Magic tweak and then removed it.  I have the 2170,  not the 3400.  I think the 2170 is all most would need and perhaps sounds a tad more organic and musical.
Looking back to a better day....

I can't believe how good my system sounds now,  it really is unreal.  I think that the last batch of alpha e cards really improved things.  I am betting that the ones placed inside the cabinet next to crossovers is really having a positive effect.  I just ordered another batch of alpha e cards
Removes money from your bank account as well as lowering the noise floor to -200 db or lower by proximity.

C’mon on people...

Stop knocking stuff you HAVE NOT TRIED!

Unless you truly think that the majority of the active members on the agon are all idiots who are easily parted from their money.

You are all barking up the wrong tree on this one.
Especially funny the way Wolf and Elizabeth keep coming back and attempting to ridicule Tim's product with NO FACTUAL EVIDENCE at all.
Well I say funny, it is not truly, rather sad in fact.

But whatever makes you sleep at night.

Don't know about you but Thorazine generally makes me drool during naptime here at the facility. Yuck.
And that annoying jacket tied behind your arms makes it impossible to wipe your chin!
Anybody who comes to this thread and openly trashes Tim’s products without trying them and trying to put a negative spin on this product is not being fair to Tim, his product or themselves in all honesty.

Ok so I get you think it is incredulous that it can possibly work especially in light of the lauded accolades heaped upon it.

Still if you have not tried you really have no right to be so negative.

Put up or shut up!
Is that the jacket with the buckles and straps that you can padlock just to be safe?

While I agree with you’re observation, explanation, and opinion the problem and conflict is that there are an increasing number of contributors to this forum who are consumed with the fervor of religious faith, belief, and conviction sometimes based on a "bible" of they’re own authorship so you will not be able to restrain, restrict, or limit they’re proselytizing.

What prof wrote +1
What ever drug they are on.. amazing.
??

Must be some good stuff indeed, made it invisible.

Ahh now I get it.
Yes it is a great drug indeed.
The sound of music, clear and delightful.

Yep good stuff to be sure.

So, you just assumed that the magnet part of the mat is the effective part of an Omega E Mat. Then you went out and bought similar material and expected to get the performance of a real Omega E Mat, is that correct? And now, because of your failed results, you come into the thread to knock the real product?

How utterly stupid of you!

The MAGNETIC materials used for the E-Mats has NOTHING TO DO WITH THEIR PERFORMANCE. NOTHING! The only reason the material is used is that it adds substance to the product. I’ve said that numerous times in this lengthy thread. Had you paid attention, Elizabeth, you could have saved yourself a lot of time, effort, and some money.

Originally, the Omega E-Cards were made with the refrigerator magnet material as well. They were smaller and less effective than the larger E-Mat due to being one-tenth the size.

Anyone who has received recent editions of the E-Cards will tell you that they now use stainless steel for the backup material instead of the refrigerator magnet material. So, based upon that, Elizabeth, go out and buy sheets of thin stainless steel and put them under your components and see what the results are. I’m LMAO at your naivety.

Conversely, stainless steel could be used for the Omega E-Mats too with the same results as before. But ... why add all of the weight unnecessarily? Also, the magnetic side is really convenient for placing them up against something vertical like the inside of a metal circuit breaker box door. It’s nice to have them stick to the sides of metal material without them slipping off.

Wolfie sez:

  • What, exactly, does an Omega Mat do? How does it do it?

1. Exactly?? ... They lower the noise floor dramatically. That’s what all of the PPT products do, and they complement each other while doing it. Use the Total Contact paste as directed, then add Omega E-Mats and/or Omega E-Cards to increase the performance of each.

2. Call Tim at his contact number. I’m sure he would gladly give up all of his insights, formulas, secrets of how his present products work, and also reveal his ideas about future products coming down the line. Call him, Wolfie, I’m sure he’d be more than happy to receive your call.

They certainly do remove money from bank accounts, oldtech, I’ll give you that. And ... the bad news is that they are cumulative. The more Omega E-Mats you stack up, the better the results.

Don’t know how you measured to get your -200db results, but I can tell you this ... place two Omega E-Mats in your circuit breaker box, then one under each component and look out for a major, very pleasant, surprise.

Stack four E-Mats in your circuit breaker box and six or more Omega E-Mats under each component, fire up your system, put on your favorite demo recording and you will have an adult diaper experience.

Stay tuned guys ... more genius products are coming soon from the fertile mind of our friend Tim Mrock. :-)

Well you know you poked the nest when Shillzilla, or is it the father of Oregon? arises from the irradiated depths of the Marianas Trench to defend the flag!
I would not waste my time posting on this thread if it did not provide total eyebrow raising chuckles.  And Frankly, excuse the pun pass the crow when hell freezes over.

I have two words for ya .... and it ain't "Happy Birthday."

By the way, you're kinda funny. Not as in a weird kind of funny, but in a HaHa kind of funny. :-)

Without fanboy comments how do we learn about great new products here on the Gon? Early adopters are a must and reading about actual experiences is what this site is really for. As more folks try and like a given product I would expect the fanboy posts and numbers to swell. That is what we see on this thread. That is healthy and well...normal. It is one of the main reasons and uses of this forum.

This has been the case since this site started. What has changed, most unfortunately, is the ever growing group of negative and insulting posts that are based on nothing other than clever wit and a need to be noticed for unhealthy reasons.

Many wonderful and respectful posters have either left this site or post very infrequently desiring to avoid the emerging new reality here.
