I’m curious about this product from Perfect Path Technologies and would like to hear from those that have experience with it. I’ve bought and used the Total Contact enhancer and like what it does for my system so I’m interested in hearing how this Omega E mat performs.
Well I applied the TC paste this morning. Squeezed out what I thought was a tiny amount but it was enough to do my main system, second system, third system AND the ht rig too! Goes a long way. This was all power cords, interconnect and speaker cable ends. I did not open up any equipment and do anything inside. Doing contacts in the main breaker box will be a job for another day.
I must have 3/4 of the tube left! In the freezer it goes.
uberwaltz, The pins in the IEC are good to paste. If you have a tube amp pasting the pins on the tubes a third to half the way up also has a great effect. It's not that hard and really worth it. After all pins are pasted, plug in and take out and check under a good light to make sure there is no bridging of the TC between the pins. Enjoy!

Thx! Tomorrow morning I intend to do all the power cords, all interconnect male ends and speaker cable banana plugs on the main system. Pretty sure I read somewhere Here it was safe to do the actual iec power pins on the equipment itself as well. I know Tim states to paste male ends only.
uberwaltz, you will notice an immediate change after you apply the tc. Then for at least the first 8 weeks it will cure and your system will continue to get better. I have not gone crazy pasting everthing in my system but with interconnects, power cables and iec inlets I have noticed an incredible overall increase in all aspects of my system.
- one in my Ifi USB 3 reclocker/filter along with TC paste - one in each speaker crossover along with TC paste - one on the back of each speaker driver along with TC paste.
Hopefully will get time this weekend to use some of the tc on some connections. Can't remember the verdict on the TC. Is it pretty instant change or does that build up as well?

Yep, and that's the whole point of the audio hobby as far as I'm concerned. Great audio gets us closer to the music and the performers. And isn't that the discerning point between the true song stylists, the great musicians ... and the also-ran's, as well?
Ah, audiophiles who are enamored of preposterous tweaks for their cell phones that cost more than their cell phones who live in canyons. There’s a demographic that I would love to break into. 😀
I have two friends who will be ordering a pack of the E Cards for their headphone systems. Their amps and Dacs are very small, way too small for regular sized E Mats.
I live in an area that’s in a canyon, so the cell phone reception isn’t always good. In fact, sometimes it really sucks. So ... it will be a small E Card inside of my cell phone case for sure ... and then two cards each in my speaker crossover compartments that I’ve already pasted with Total Contact with very good results.
Grannyring Also a relatively new phenomenon, as of tonight really. My speakers have completely disappeared. Seriously I am sitting staring at one and trying to detect any music coming out of it but I cannot. It just seems as if music is in the air, very nice.
I have cards on my iPhone and iPad. Along with the other benefits Krissy mentioned, what particularly stands out to me is how quickly apps open up, and the overall increase in “responsiveness”. I am also seeing an increase in crispness and brightness of the screen.
The mat is on the Inside of main breaker door as posts suggest that is most effective place to start.
Ecards. 1 on Brooklyn DAC. 1 on Bluesound vault2 music server 1 on Goldnote phono stage. 2 on Equicore 1800 power conditioner 2 on Ayre ax7e integrated.
Out of those card placements only the Ayre coukd be exchanged for a full mat due to size of other components.
To my ears and in my system, it reduced background noise substantially even over what the blue fuses and blue duplex achieved.
To me they seem to have had most effect on instruments like piano and acoustic guitar. Appears to be more air and separation on individual notes. Hard to describe but I can certainly tell a change. Now they have only been in place 1 week so expecting more.
I do intend to buy another pack of the cards but might not be for a couple weeks. If nobody helps out prior to that I would let you have 2 of them for cost price for sure.
I have no idea if it can GK, it was just a guess. I mean would be nice if it could as I work in a lot of factories with lots of noise, electrical and interference of buildings etc. Anything would be a bonus.
And just a shout out for Tim here as being a true gentleman and excellent to deal with all round. I placed an order with him and before the ink was dry on the check I was writing for him he sent me a USPS tracking number and 2 days later I had the goods. All this BEFORE I had even sent him his money!
Funny, this new generation of kids... that’s ALL they listen to. Longer run time, better reception. Top to bottom, APPS are instant. No one has ever offered an upgrade quite like this for an Iphone. Why wouldn’t you try it? It’s a big deal. <3 Krissy
Why not GK? Today's smartphones are extremely powerful and competent. If it can say boost reception or help prolong battery life it would be a good idea. Of course no idea if it does, I have not tried one between phone and case but might be worth a try just to see. Anybody actually tried one on a phone yet?
Seems they are good for many things including cell phones. I think they will be marketed to use on cell phones also. I want them in my small LPSs and speaker crossover compartments.

First, Let me apologize. I know the question I'm asking has been discussed here before but the thread is too long to track the answer down. Question: I just moved a Mat from underneath my power regenerator to under why line stage. How long does it take for the Mat to become fully effective once moved to another component?
I agree with what fleschler has experienced.The installation of E - Mats reveals that one's present system can be significantly improved without upgrading components .And unlike auditioning or buying a new component , placing a E - Mat in a system is quick and easy. And best of all , if you do not like the Mat, send it back for a refund.
Today was a fun E - Mat day, and it has been a fun E-Mat week! I listed the locations of the new Mats in the above post and today I had a critical listening session. Clearly a meaningful improvement. So now there are Mats under or on top of all components in the horn system and the headphone system. I have not tried them under the speakers yet. My crossovers are located in the bottom of the cabinets so this location will eventually be tried.
I now thought about the power coming into the house. I already have two Mats installed on the inside of the outer door panel of the sub breaker box. I also have two mats placed next to each other on the main breaker panel.
Under the actual Electric Company's Power Meter they have a locked box that then sends all power to my main breaker box. I attached one Mat on the outside of this box. Kept the mat in it's water resistant plastic bag and covered that with 3-M External Painters tape to block the sun from causing any damage. The main breaker box is tall enough that I could add a third Mat inside this panel to now cover all the breakers for the house.
Today was fun because these two Mats caused an immediate improvement in clarity, harmonic texture and emotional impact.
Steve, you'll have to come up to hear the Signature III's. Way better than when you were here last. I pasted the power conditioner and the speaker crossovers with Total Contact. The improvement was a real break through.
