Perfect Path Technologies: Omega E mat

I’m curious about this product from Perfect Path Technologies and would like to hear from those that have experience with it. I’ve bought and used the Total Contact enhancer and like what it does for my system so I’m interested in hearing how this Omega E mat performs.

Tim   ……   tried to contact you by both email and by your contact form on your website but so far no response. Maybe you're really busy with new orders / website?
Listening to Rippington’s "Welcome To the St. James Club", an all-digital recording from 1990 on the GRP label, an early adopter of DDD recordings, e.g., Dave Grusin and Lee Ritenour’s very listenable "Harlequin" is from 1985. Despite the synthesized trappings of the era, this album has amazing percussion dynamics and staging, better heard with the two additional E mats, placed only a week ago.
More fun last night. The sound quality advanced even further.

I  have a small circuit breaker panel in the closet of my master bedroom that I had completely forgotten about. I put an E Mat in there yesterday. Zowie! More of everything we like. The picture on the TV improved again too.

Frank

PS: Tommylion ... thanks for the heads up on the plugs. :-)
@perfectpathtech
Did the webmaster use some TC on the web-server? Its very quick now...probably in 14 days will be be much quicker! ;)
Good morning to everyone! I have already received several bundle inquires. If you are a previous customer you may substitute the TC kit for a another deck of E Cards or  a  $300 credit for a additional E mat.
The customer will always be our number one priority!

@aniwolf  keep the feedback coming! Our webmaster saw your post, as of this morning speed has doubled, and will further increase in the days to come.

Good thinking, grannyring. I had the thought last night wondering if there would be some way to use Tim's technology on shorting plugs on the unused RCA inlets on the back of line stages. Maybe I'll get some shorting plugs and paste them with TC. You never know ...

Frank
Agree its a nice website.  Feel kind of bad for the early adopters who paid full price before the sale was announced.  Such is life.
When are the flexible collars coming out to wrap around all manner of audio cords? Yes, this is a good idea 🙂
Nice looking website for sure
Not over glitzy, just right.

Great specials for those wanting to start on the path to righteousness!
Tim & Krissy ...

The web site looks great. The bundles are a bargain for the improvement attained. Nice job. :-)

Not sure if this is a stupid question but has anyone used TC between the Romex to the wall socket?

Not sure if that causes fire safety or insurance issues but I'm curious if it's been done.
Krissy,

It's been 8 days since I removed the MC-0.5 from my system, so the lingering effects should be gone. I have to agree with you, what a difference it has made! Thanks for spurring Tim on to remove them.

10 mats under each component?! I think I need to get down your way to hear that.
Good afternoon! <3 The main system is eight days magnet free today. <3 WOWSERS  <3 The music is so pure and full of life. Hard to believe it could get any clearer~ did the noise floor drop again? Special thanks to the audiophile who inspired Tim to place 10 mats under each component. I might need a few more for my car. lol. <3 We love reading your experiences with these products. <3 Enjoy the music. <3 Krissy <3
Last night's session was fantastic. The TC pasted power conditioner and speaker crossovers are really coming into their own. Also, the E Cards on the power cords are paying off now too. I'm beginning to wonder just how close to real performers in space can these good red book CD's get? I'm in awe.

Frank
And another convert to the cause. Lol

Carefull what you say as some would have you believe you are being self centered for spending money on tweaks and that you cannot possibly be hearing what you are hearing.

All this without ever trying any of these tweaks themselves.

Just enjoy the music as I do and let the naysayers go fly a kite in a hurricane!
There must be something special about E-card.

I ordered one set (5cards) on last Sunday.

I received it Tuesday.

After placing near power cables on the equipment, the noise got reduced with more natural sound.

I ordered one more set.

Tim kindly sent me 6 E-cards.

It was really bad day today.

I lost 150 $ Blue fuse in Line Magnetic 508 amplifier.

I guess that power tube may had popped up leading to short.

I went back to Rogue Cronus Magnum II but it does not sound bad with 11 E-cards and 5 SR Blue cables and one Blue fuse inside Dac.

If I want to find out the contribution of each new tweaks, I have to do lot of substitution.

After blowing one of Blue fuse, I am not in such a mood to try that.

I am just enjoying the music through my old buddy, Rogue Cronus Maganum II.

Its good to see some new people talking about their experience with the e mats and tc.  Just remember the sound will get better as time goes on.  I now have 8 mats and a set of e cards and the sound I am getting is unbelievable.  I have never been happier with a tweak then with the combo of e mats and tc.  My speakers have vanished and my soundstage is around the whole room like never before,  very happy.
Last  monday I received 3 emats and 3 ecards. As I want to modify one thing at a time, I only put 2 emats under the Torus AVR16.

This is a big 22 ‘’ deep and 125 Lb baby tht makes me think  2 are needed.
I sticked one directly under the transfo and the other one (under also), but nearer the electrical inputs.

I’ll install the third Emat in 3 weeks in the house breaker where there is one already installed.

Ecards are sticked 1 behind  the IPad and 2 under the router waiting to settle in the batteries PSU of my TW Acustic Raven AC.

So for the first 3 or 4 days things navigated from good to strange. Sometimes good on some messages and sometimes odd and uncomfortable.
Yesterday things began to settle down and made  me think the best is still to come and this idea made me feel happy.
I’ll say more in a few weeks but what shoke me the most was the feeling of proximity with the singers and musicians. This « global » impression comes from objective parameters (highs, medium, naturalness, etc) that contribute to this, but the only interesting thing is the global result, meaning musical pleasure. That’s what all of us are looking for I guess ?
stevepo ...

Good decision and welcome to the club. :-)

Paste all of your connections. Start with the power cords, interconnects,  speaker wires ... any electrical connections.

Frank
So I took the plunge and ordered a mat, ecards, and the TC paste.

My biggest question is where did people find the TC most effective? I'm not even sure where to begin with this stuff. Thoughts?
Nicely said Jafreeman!

I find it hard to put into words the effects that have been wrought admittedly by the numerous varied tweaks present now.

But I rarely break out the vinyl nowadays, maybe just once a week whereas Tidal is playing every night for sure.

Right now listening to a Tidal MQA stream of Fleetwood Mac and I am just savouring every note and every word.

Totally mesmerizing.

Couldn't have said it better. I listen to mostly CD's now. Never thought I'd ever say that, but red book CD's (when properly recorded) sound amazing ... and so ... so ... so ... analog like.  :-)

Frank
The accolades are pouring in---just added a fourth mat and two e-cards, all under the ARC Ref 210's, mats in back, cards in front.  Still have two under the Wadia 861 SE GNSC.  What I am hearing already: new information between the main instruments, which are richer and more rounded.  The inner detail of musical flourishes in a production that I had not been hearing are amazing. It's as if I am now hearing digital's "dark matter", a hidden tapestry of sound that completes my aural perception. No one can convince me now that analog is superior--the digital glare must be that part of the signal that cannot be transmitted---until now.  The PPT products are allowing better digital resolution of the signal path, and this from an older player and more mats needed to cover the spaces under all the gear.  My thanks to Tim and Krissy for what they are producing!
Well another eye opener.

I just decided to take a lie down and listen to some music more in the background.
So I chose the bedroom which has the 3rd system in which is very simple and basic.

Holy moly, was seriously unprepared for what I heard.
I had always considered this rig to be somewhat dull and lacking sparkle and oomph.
Not now heck no. 3 different albums in and I am still not relaxing with it as background music as was the initial intent. Thoroughly enjoying it is what is occurring!
I am deeply impressed at changes wrought by TC paste only that has been curing for just under a week now.
As I continue discovering new places to paste with TC, I have an ongoing experience with the TC "curing" and the sound improving over time. Just finished listening to a CD with Chet Baker and Bill Evans. Glorious!

https://www.ebay.com/itm/CHET-BAKER-BILL-EVANS-PIANO-LEGENDARY-SESSIONS-NEW-CD/381793231663?epid=801...

Its a compilation, so a few of the cuts are weak ... but most are really great Chet Baker in his prime.

Frank
Never expected to be happy about working away for a week at a time but...

It is almost like having a new to me system when I revisit the main rig after a weeks absence and letting the TC paste and emats/cards do their stuff while gone!
Just sublime this afternoon.

Hi Frank, Thank you for your consideration. No I do not take handouts, however gracious the offer. I told Tim the same a while back when I was spinning out mentally after being diagnosed with....

When our new house is finally built (it's 12 months later than we thought), I will contact Tim to try some TC. I don't know about mats... our voltage and frequency is different to the US, but I'll leave that one for the creator.

Thanks again though. You are a gentleman and I mean that sincerely, despite the sparing...

Hi amg56,

I am from Singapore and our voltage and frequency is very much different to the US and that has not stopped me from experiencing the much improved SQ after first application of TC and the introduction of a couple of Omega e mats  into my system.

I have one on top of my distributor box and another underneath my Torus IS-2 power conditioner.

This is the 8th week of the e mats being in my system and today I was stunned when I played a familiar track, the music was so life like and the speakers disappeared. Seems like someone just pulled apart the curtains and Celine Dion stepped right through 6 feet in front of me, amazing :)

Regards,

Les

^^^ Thanks AMG ... :-)

I hope you're feeling better at this point.

A new home being built? I'm such an advocate, I'm thinking about how many electrical connections could be pasted with TC prior to the walls going up. *lol*

Frank

amg56 ...

I would send you the remainder of a tube of Total Contact to try in your system if you want. There's about a  half of a tube left. Do you take handouts??

Frank

.My questions have been answered by a number of like minded posters on the (and other) threads. Whether I agree or not is not relevant to me. I wanted to know HOW these work, just to satisfy the inquisitive engineer in me.

It is in my DNA to ask. I’ve always asked. The fact of asking places me in the doubters side immediately. But I can stand on the fence or be on the Yay side equally.

I know manufacturers will not give away technology secrets so easily. Heck, I wouldn’t if it were my IP.

So no offence given and non taken.

And when I can afford them I too might partake of these products.

shkong78

Yes, put it above the power cords. If Blu-Tac doesn't work, you may want to try double sided tape.

Hope this helps.

By the way, tonight's session sounded better than this morning, so it looks like the E Cards will continue to improve just like the E Mats did.

Frank
amg56 What if the E-Cards technology is so simple and so safe that anyone could duplicate it, or maybe just simple enough for a company like Synergistic Research? I understand that could be the reason and reticence in releasing any more information other than it works.

My friend also does something to his products, that if revealed, would be easily and cheaply duplicated so he doesn’t let anyone know, just a 60 day money back guarantee.
@oregonpaoa

Shall I put above power cords?

Although I have bluetack, it may not stay there.

I had tried to place it just above the equipment connecting to power cords?

Let me try different position and see what happens.

Hearing is believing.
^^^

Placing the four E Cards on the power cords where they attach to the equipment yesterday was really worthwhile. This morning’s listening session was better than it was last night ... and that's really saying something. I highly recommend that anyone who has the E Cards try placing them on the ends of their power cords. If need be, try a little dab of Blu-Tac.

Frank
My e-cards are supposed to be delivered today.

Maybe later afternoon.

I will try them out with combination of bells that I am having fun with it.

Bells and Blue tack cost me 1/4 of e-cards.

"Are you lonesome tonight?" by Elvis sounds more convincing with 10 bells behind speakers.
I placed a card in each of my speaker crossover compartments.  My speakers have  a nice compartment in the bottom of the speaker ..... not inside the bass cavity which is a great thing! It has been 3days and the results have been very good. More “at ease” sound that is boxless with the speakers disappearing to a great degree.

My next eCard set is going on the back of each driver near the voice coil and drivers connection tabs.

I have to say, if you have mats, cards, and/or TC in your system, and you also have High Fidelity MC-0.5s, or other HF products, you should consider removing the latter, to see if your experience matches mine (and Tim's).

I had been extremely happy with the improvements 16 mats brought to my system, but I am rather astonished at how much a single MC-0.5 was holding things back. It's been 3 days since I removed it. Tim says it takes 7 days for the magnetic effect to fully wear off.

^^^

On the E Cards ...

As mentioned before in an earlier post, I put one inside the protective case of the cell phone with good results. That left four cards that needed a home in the system. I'm thinking of putting them inside, alongside of the crossovers ... two cards in each speaker.

Tonight, I placed all four cards across the ends of my power cords where they connect to the equipment. One on the pre-amp, one on the amp, one on the CD player, and finally, one across the power cord from the power conditioner where it plugs into the wall.

I've only been listening for about an hour or so, mostly to female vocal ballads that I know really well. So far, I'm hearing a slight reduction in digital grain around voices, faster around the leading edges of instruments, especially guitar and percussion and a more relaxed and generally quieter presentation overall without anything being "dulled." Its just more music coming through ... similar to what the Omega E Mats do.

When I do the crossovers (a real pain to get to) I'll report back on that.

Frank
AMG56I hear your concerns especially after the corepowertech debacle and the money you are out and I can certainly understand your worries.
I know it will not do much good just myself telling you this, but Tim is not even remotely close to that type of mentality or personality as Mark displayed towards the end.

I cannot speak for him I know, but I would be shocked if Tim ignored you or did not honor his word if you tried his goods and decided they did nothing for you in your system.
I waited a fair while before taking the plunge on cards, mats and tc paste but the number and quality of people coming forward saying the same thing made me take a leap, of faith if you want to use that thought process.
I do not regret one single dollar spent!
amg56 - we’ve been over all this before. Don’t you remember? The clock starts ticking when you get the product, not when it’s shipped. Everybody and his brother knows that. And you should get results right away, from what customers say, you don’t have to wait 8 weeks. Eat more fish, that way you won’t have to ask the same question over and over again.

Hi Frank,

No one likes to be criticized. Hence your response. But I was not criticizing anyone or anything. I made note that there was no information forthcoming, as is the right of a consumer to expect.

Being in Australia, 30 day money back guarantee does me no favours. By the time I receive it, apply it, determine its ability to enhance my system (and change mat places as so many have described), have the TC in place for at least the stated 8 week period, and so on, leaves me out cold cash not in hand and no recourse to refund my outlay (as is happening to me by another US based identity/company).

Maybe I have less faith in this process as I cannot look the person in the eye.

Geoff,

Your "Whatever" file must be full by now. Congrats on exceeding 12,000 posts. Most of which I see as useless banter, rather than informative and seeking meaningful engagement.

amg54 sez:

  • "My father once told me to always look a person in the eye when speaking to them. And always look them in the eye listening to them. Why? Aversion to the truth. If a person does not tell you to your eye what the truth is, then they are not to be trusted. (And yes, blind people can do the same actually)."

I couldn’t agree with you more. After a 50 year career in 100% commissioned sales, not only did I study personality types, but body language as well. The eyes and mouth tell a lot about a person’s honesty. Believe me, I can spot a charlatan a mile away ... because to the trained eye, they throw off red flags all over the place.

Frank
amg54, I hope you don’t take this the wrong way but I’m filing that long screed of yours under Whatever.
