Perfect Path Technologies: Omega E mat

I’m curious about this product from Perfect Path Technologies and would like to hear from those that have experience with it. I’ve bought and used the Total Contact enhancer and like what it does for my system so I’m interested in hearing how this Omega E mat performs.

Yes indeed.  To those open minded and intentionally curious they will find these to be the best tweaks ever offered in terms of improving sound quality. Nothing better.
Yes, this thread has remained civil because we insist that it does.  The PPT products not only provide breakthrough improvements--the creators of PPT are here, interacting with us to provide support, advice and great service.  PPT represents all they have worked and risked for, so the criticisms on here become a bit more personal I would suggest.
As many have pointed out, there is no risk in trying PPT products, so please try them, and don't knock them until you have.

oh boy!
Let the fun and games begin.
This thread has done remarkably well to escape CoCo and his brethren for the longest time.

oregonpapa"One poster claimed that he used the "magic goo" to tighten his sphincter. I would suggest you try it for that purpose also"

So you like to keep you're anus well-lubed, so that you'll be ready for opportunity I guess that is you're US Boy Scout promise of "Be prepared' for anything and you must think that's fun!

If you say bad things about the magic mats or goo the post will disappear and you’ll be banned from here, so...all hail the magic goo!! It will cure your asthma too!
Hey Elizabeth ... did someone kick your cat? :-)

You love the hobby and great sound, right? Why not try the products (money back guarantee) and then come back and report your results.

By the way, I agree with you on the Shatki Holograms ... Cheap construction and overpriced. But ... they work like crazy. I have four in my room. Easy to a/b the results, and I've done that for friends. Take them out of the system and the sound-field collapses. I wouldn't enjoy my system nearly as much without the Shatki Holograms in the system.

Yes indeed I am Thecarpathian!
Very much so and this morning I will be adding a tube pre/streamer/server/dac to the mix so expecting good things.
Of course will have to wait for the ecards to work their magic on it......
Damage Control! Damage Control! Kame-Kazi attack! Sailors man your stations!!
Elizabeth
You are a big girl now and certainly do not need or even want my advise but still.
Just try them!

Tim will refund you if you are not bowled over.
But you will be in for a surprise.
There have been some serious Audiogon sceptics tried them and have been converted.
Heck even Katie has an ecard taped to the back of his Walkman.

I procrastinated for the longest time before slapping down my hard earned money but I am exceedingly satisfied.

Do not pour ridicule on this tweak until you have tried it as it does truly work.

Just my 3 cents.
I hate to judge before all the facts are in but there appears to be a very thin line between deep rooted skepticism and just being a scamp.
Elizabeth, sorry I struck a nerve. I just don't understand the hypocrisy of it all. Hopefully Tim and Krissy can provide you some assurances as they are good people with a great product.

Your deep rooted skepticism does you little favour imho
But have at it, should at least provide some entertainment.
I know what I hear......

I, at least would love to see the "quantum scribbles" that end up being added to her mats...…..
That would be the same Elizabeth that a lot of us have enjoyed reading her posts for years and missed her during her sabbatical.  At least her mat will hold up her shopping list on the fridge.

Is this the same Elizabeth who starts a cable thread and gets butt hurt when people post disparaging remarks on whether one can hear differences or not?
Don't forget that Charles Emerson Winchester III also has used these in his system.
@elizabeth Those sticks you call them, Hallographs, are made of three woods including ebony, quite expensive.  Try buying some premium quality and then machining them.  I've used Shakti Hallographs since they were invented and so do my friends who are mastering engineers, Robert Pincus, Better Records, Tom Port and Oregonpapa.  Don't knock them until you've tried them.  I have poorly focusing speakers (Legacy Focus which is a misnomer) and after using them, my speakers focus and have an expanded soundstage like a $50,000 pair.

As to the kitchen magnets, I tried six of them and they are worthless as to affecting my audio and video systems.  On the contrary, the E-Mats, full size, one dozen, greatly improve my sonics.  Just one on the main power box significantly improved the video picture with enhanced color and brightness on my 75" Sony 940D.  My wife does not want me to remove it.

I've always enjoyed reading your posts.  Why knock these great products?
Mr jafreeman, I think we would all be interested in what exactly you are planning on doing if she chooses to not quit posting?
Yeah, you picked the wrong thread to have some fun on, Elizabeth. Per your own thread, it really IS time to just quit.....at least, here.
Elizabeth
I find your attitude and posts neither insulting or childish but usually illuminating.
However on this subject I think you may have missed the mark quite badly.

I admit it would be a little tedious to trawl through all 1500 posts but it was established LONG ago that magnetism had nothing to do with the emats performance, rather just a convenient way of affixing them to breaker box doors and equipment etc. The smaller ecards have no magnetic properties whatsoever.
But you go girl, fill us in with the sordid details as they happen.
We are all 👂

Why on earth would you come here just to disparage all the obviously very well satisfied customers of the emats and ecards.
Makes no sense unless you are bored and spoiling for a dustup.....

Congratulations on your purchase. You're going to love the effect and improvement in SQ. I know your question was about placing the E Mats into your circuit breaker but have you tried pasting your connections with the TC yet?

On the circuit breaker ... I haven't moved the two mats that were placed in the circuit breaker a few months ago, so I can't speak for that exact location. However, I've moved mats around from component to component over time, even loaning them to friends for listening sessions at their homes, and haven't noticed a substantial degradation in sound. I don't think a few hours would make much difference. At any rate, even if you left them off for days, and had to start from scratch, the improvement is almost immediate ... with a significant improvement over a day or so, even a half a day.

Take care ...

Frank
Hi All, I recently ordered and received one of the 'bundles' on offer. This was over the Christmas period and expecting some delay because I now live in Ireland, was most pleasantly surprised when the postman arrived a week later with my parcel.

During this period I had emails informing me that it had been posted and followed up with tracking info. Impressive service, so anyone outside the USA need not have any qualms about  buying from PPT. If any of my South African friends are reading this, I say go for it

At the moment I am busy trying to keep the Irish rain outside our house. These repairs, damp proofing and renovations will take some time before I can get on to trying these products out but am looking for suggestions on what to treat.

From reading I see that the power distribution box is a must for an E-mat. I would like to place one near the breakers now but often need access to the breaker panel to isolate lighting or plug circuits. What is the effect of removing the mat for a few hours and then replacing it. I am chasing the walls for new plugs and lighting and would need to disturb the mat a few times.

<3 <3 ^^^^^  AHAHAHA. Fantastic! <3 LOL <3

<3
Make sure you've totally covered the outside of the tube AND it's dry. Then apply fresh, you are applying it to the TC shell you've encased on the tube. <3 <3 <3

<3 Hey Frank, I'm the lucky one. <3 We are just two peas in one weird pod. <3 LOL <3 <3 Happy Friday! <3

Question for Krissy. To be clear you’re saying to add TC to the tip of the tube and then put a ring of silver 28 ga wire tightly around it? Nipple jewelry for my tubes, my wife might get jealous 😜
^^^ Nice, jmolsberg!

Can you believe how accurate human voice sounds? Separation of instruments like never before too, right? It's going to continue to get better as the TC cures. :-)

Frank
^^^ it sounded so freaking good! I spun Van Morrisson "The Prophet Speaks." I am really digging this album. And the Analogue Productions  "Tea for the Tillerman." Originally when I TC'd the interconnects, power outlet, and speaker cables, installed the one mat and 5 cards, I noticed a nice improvement but there was a lagtime. This time the impact was immediate!

I went to work like Picasso today and TC’d all my tubes: preamp, phono pre, and amplifier, (13 total). Went a little thick on the 6sn7 pins cause I could smell TC cooking in the pre, no harm done👍
Popped off the cover to the fuse panel, multimeter in hand (safety first) and TC’d my stereo breaker and wires. Now time to sit back and spin some Van M. and listen. Hopefully I won't get the urge to hack off an 👂
Cheers

<3 My turn <3 LOL <3
When all of the wall sockets are painted, it’s more of the same "Perfect Path Effect". <3 <3 Tim the madman painted ours a few years ago. The product is winning, we are worn out trying to find the saturation point. <3 <3 <3 AHAHAHA.

PAINTING TUBES. I have a great tweak to try. <3 Ready? <3 LOL
Well over a year ago, Tim tried pasting tubes. Turns out, there is another facet to the painted tube tweak. Once the coating has dried, you go back and take a small gauge like 28 gauge~~ silver wire. So put fresh TC on the little nipple and tightly wrap the silver wire on the nipple. Go to the next with the wire. TC, wrap it tight. REPEAT AS NEEDED. Dig me? Then go into the ground on the chassis power inlet and tie that wire to ground. Whatever you have now..... IT’S DOUBLE THE EFFECT. For real. NUTTY. Super duper wild! <3

<3 ::::: Aesthetically, it may not work for you...... for tubes that are visible. Especially if you are picky like me. <3 lol <3 <3 For anything under a lid? You must try. <3

There are seriously awesome things happening at Perfect Path. Just have to zip my lip for a little while longer. I can’t wait to share it with you!!! LOL! <3 Krissy <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 :) :) ;) >;) =^..^= YES~~~ APPROVED!!! WOOOOOOOOOT. <3 <3 <3 <3

Geoffkait wrote some times ago sq was better when all the wall sockets were coated. Just wanted to know if more agoners had the same experience with TC.
Is it true that pasting the wall socket gives better results if  you paste all the wall sockets and not only the one that feeds the system ?
Do we really  need to paste every wall socket of the house for best results ?
^^^ Nice! Thanks for the affirmation, Bradmorris1.

If you can, do the crossovers and the power conditioner. I can just about guarantee you that as good as the results are that you’re enjoying due to the tube pasting, these two items will blow those results away. Another spot to paste with good results is the outside of your wall sockets. Remove the covers and paste the screws, wires and the sockets themselves. Be sure to turn the main breaker off before you begin. :-)

I have no way of measuring it, but Tim says that pasting the signal tubes allows the tubes to run cooler and will lenthen their life span.

Frank
Have any of you pasted the glass on your small signal tubes yet?

Yes, based on your recommendation, I just bit the bullet and pasted the glass on the three 12ax7 tubes in my Eastern Electric phono preamp. OMG!! This treatment blows away every other application of TC in my system. I kid you not. I was absolutely gobsmacked by the incredible drop in the noise floor and the massive improvement in clarity and tone and overall musicality that came about as a result. This is THE TC treatment to try folks.
^^^

Its amazing how much noise we were putting up with prior to the PPT products coming on board.

The interesting thing is, there’s a lot more noise left that will be removed by the use of more mats, with more judicious use of TC, and future products coming down the pike from PPT (according to Tim).

Personally, I can hardly wait for the new products. As it is, I’m getting realism in sound and vocals from the system now that is allowing me to actually suspend disbelief, and I have yet to paste my circuit breaker switches with TC.

Have any of you pasted the glass on your small signal tubes yet? How about the inside of your power conditioners? Speaker crossovers? Wall sockets? Wall switches? If not, highly recommended. :-)
