Perfect Path Technologies: Omega E mat

I’m curious about this product from Perfect Path Technologies and would like to hear from those that have experience with it. I’ve bought and used the Total Contact enhancer and like what it does for my system so I’m interested in hearing how this Omega E mat performs.

Hi Guys,
These products from PPT intrigue me and I would like to try them after reading every post but find the inventor/manufacturer rather backward in coming forward.
It is claimed that 4 weeks is needed for the mats to really perform, but that figure comes from much individual experiment.
Oops got cut off somehow?
I find it odd that Tim has not stated clearly the amount of time needed for full performance and also, without disclosing vital information, the basis of operation.
The lack of info has some suggesting that the mat needs charging up and oregonpapa claiming that the mats emit energy.
How does a passive device emit energy?
It is now slowly becoming apparent that the mats do not play nicely with certain other tweaks. Should not the forum members have been advised of this.
Also the products are not cheap and it would be good to hear from experienced users if similarly priced cables would not achieve similar results as a sanity check.
Keen to try the TC paste and would appreciate a half quantity at a lower price, lets say a pensioner's portion  :)
@ oregonpapa, I don't always agree with your posts but your frequent links to what you consider great music is impressive and tells me that you are a lover of music as opposed to some where the actual performance takes second place to the components. I have friends like that with expensive systems and only a dozen carefully chosen albums in constant rotation.

May I suggest you try Filippa Giordano with an exceptional voice. Pop/operatic style who seems largely unknown and definitely underrated.  She has a high register that will treat your tweeters. Emotional stuff.
Hi All, I recently ordered and received one of the 'bundles' on offer. This was over the Christmas period and expecting some delay because I now live in Ireland, was most pleasantly surprised when the postman arrived a week later with my parcel.

During this period I had emails informing me that it had been posted and followed up with tracking info. Impressive service, so anyone outside the USA need not have any qualms about  buying from PPT. If any of my South African friends are reading this, I say go for it

At the moment I am busy trying to keep the Irish rain outside our house. These repairs, damp proofing and renovations will take some time before I can get on to trying these products out but am looking for suggestions on what to treat.

From reading I see that the power distribution box is a must for an E-mat. I would like to place one near the breakers now but often need access to the breaker panel to isolate lighting or plug circuits. What is the effect of removing the mat for a few hours and then replacing it. I am chasing the walls for new plugs and lighting and would need to disturb the mat a few times.

@oregonpapa,
Hi, as I mentioned in my post I am busy renovating so at the moment there is nothing really for me to try the TC on. All kit is packed away because it is like a sand storm inside the house when I am grinding and chasing walls and concrete floor for heating and lighting.

We do have a small room away from the mess where we can relax and watch TV. In this room we have an Oppo, small amp and little bookshelf speakers. I could place a mat on the Oppo but should it go on top or underneath and which way should the label face?  Also I do not wish to treat any connections yet as I want to hear the improvements taking place when I finally reassemble my main system. I will be adding room treatments and would not like to confuse the results of this with the PPT products.

I have a mat against the circuit breakers. There is no steel box enclosing the breakers so I have placed a piece of cardboard between the mat and breakers to prevent any shorts. Is it the steel box surrounding the breakers that has a deleterious effect on sound and the mat somehow reduces or prevents this? What I am asking is if the mat will still improve things although there is no proper box.

BTW did you ever get around to listening to Filippa Giordano that I recommended when I last addressed you?
