@nonoise Love the video. Kinda rich hearing someone with Texas in their handle call you the "center of the universe," since that state is infamous for stomping on everyone else and then calling them names. Everything is bigger in Texas, including the business end of the alimentary canal.

Yup. Standard operating procedure for good 'ol jerry. Thanks for verifying what I thought.

@hilde45 Thanks. I stumbled upon that content creator and he's a blast. Some of the best use of AI I've seen and his POV is so timely and relevant. Had to look up alimentary to get the joke. 😀 Very apropos.

All the best,
Nonoise

@nonoise

LOL. Calls me "woke." Woke means "awakened to the suffering to the downtrodden, put upon, marginalized, suffering."

The opposite is "oppressive" -- violent, angry, cruel, bigoted, mean-spirited, and small-minded.

I'll take woke every time. You know -- just like Jesus. ;-)

@hilde45

Now that we all know who he is and how he'll behave, I wouldn't put much stock in anything he says. Like you, I'll take woke any day of the week.

All the best,
Nonoise

I guess since we don't pay anything, the selling of what information we provide is just enough to not moderate. Take out one player and we have a valid social conversation that is generally worth the effort.

Hopefully, Texas blue has all his papers in order.

Complaining is futile. I tried, and I got this in return:

    "I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that".

@texasblues1959 Like I said earlier, opportunistic tool. Can't do it on his own anymore. See ya jerry.

All the best,
Nonoise

@texasblues1959 Is that you Jerry? Back under, what is it now, your 8th or 9th new member name? You always betray yourself when you reference the past. You became rather hard to follow at times after your stint in the hospital and it shows in your posts even now. You'd think after being banned so many times you'd just move on.

Will the real @jerryg123  please stand up?

Been fun Bruce, go easy on that sock puppet you pleasure yourself with. Hope it’s silk not wool.

You've been busted again, @jerryg123 .

@texasblues1959

Have you tried stacking all your Shakti Stones on top of your head?

@unclewilbur , he will also answer to @jerryg123 .

I am just curious for whose request are my comments removed. I am appalled by a lot of comments but I never have them removed. (Partly because they are so dumb, so full of lies, they should remain as warnings and reminders for people with any brain cells left.)

@gdaddy1 the fact that it has been a problem (and let's not forget that the growth in the US outpaced the EU and the rest of the world by triple digits in the 2020s - nobody is taking advantage of us) doesn't mean the current chaos is in any way a good solution.

are you 5 @texbychoice?

Did you understand my question? How much easier can I make it for you? I really cannot dumb this challenge any lower, easier for you.

All I had asked was: quote something that came out from the White House or trump, today, yesterday or any time that is true. You have not said a thing just dashed all over the map with meaningless, random statements.

I was the one offering to argue if you had anything to argue about. But you are just a robot throwing up the maga talking points without any association to the subject.

@nonoise @immatthewj ,

Definitely Jerryg123, etc. etc. etc.

I think he’s up to 12 or 13 usernames. He simply can’t help himself. No matter what, reverts to his old, oh so delightful ways.

@texasblues1959 ,

Don't give us a hint as to whom you're going  to come back as after you're banned this time, we're enjoying the guessing game.

Bye again! For the umpteenth time...

Said the guy who call me insane because of my posts on acoustics ...

Buy a mirror...

By the way the carbon footprint is a corporate racket....

And a third world country is a country where people has bad basic  infrastructures and no hospital care, no education  without big  money. This ring a bell ?

America is an empire not a country anymore since a long time now...

I must say about your insane rant i understand  your anger though...

I condemn not your opinion but your ad hominem attacks...

And your rant is not better than mine when i did one...

Its ok to reduce your carbon footprint and become a ’3rd world-ish’ country, i suppose. I used to backpack all over rural areas in Central Asia, nepal, thailand, etc in my younger days. It was more fun that way.

This whole shallow ultra-materialistic destructive culture kinda sucks actually. In spite of it all, all the materialism, every goofus in town needs to pop a few pills to feel the slightest ounce of happiness.

Hope the Chinese stop exporting anything to this country altogether.... and the proud Walmart shoppers pounce on each other like rats as the shelves run empty.....the trailer park will get off welfare, quit being lazy, grow some smarts, get organized and manufacture everything here in town apparently... yeah right...

So no more posts from jerry? Must be last call for pudding and meds to make it easy on the night shift.

China has been yanking our chain for years. USA consumers are addicted to cheap disposable goods. We needed to yank back but not this hard, Be interesting how this all turns out.

Have a great day all!

The biggest problem with tariffs and economic isolationism is that they stifle competition and innovation. Less competition and innovation mean higher prices. Higher prices stifle growth and increase inflation. Inflation tends to depress real wages over time.

Less innovation, less choice and more expensive goods with less money to pay for them. Sounds like a real recipe for success to me.

Well, I called my local Kuzma dealer. I'm thinking of upgrading my setup, and the US Importer just raised prices by 5% due to tariffs.

Post removed

I don’t know Kuzma, but from initial research it looks like they are out of Slovenia which is not China which would then explain why there wasn’t a 145% increase on top of purchase price.

Tariffs are not a mere isolated tactic of T. You cannot evaluate this tactic multidimensional effects out of the monetary flows (digital,paper and gold) and geopolitic and control and their digital transformation in the midst of a war.

How do export Tariffs affect business negatively?  It creates unfair competition.

No matter how you try to slice it or dice it this is NOT a fair deal and HAS had a negative affect on U.S. based business. This imbalance is NOT difficult to understand.

Tariffs are only one problem. China has other unethical business practices that go much further. Rebating, Drawbacks, Theft of intillectual property, Price cutting. Most of these are directly related to Tariffs.

These unscupulious trade practices have been allowed for decades and NO ONE has done anything. Potesters want to keep it status quo.

Everyday you get punched by a bully on the playground. One day you punch him back. You are now the bad guy? Other stundents demanding you be sent to the Principals office.  Yes, it's that simple!

@nonoise I know that and CHINA is the reason for 145% tariff''s. Did you work for the government? USAID?

Post removed

you can keep knocking USAID, you have no clue what it does. Seems like you have no idea about what the government does either. It's sad to see the world so full of sociopaths and the arrogance and ignorance screwing up all of our futures.

How this post is alive is beyond me.
