I have switched from exotic $$$ well reviewed cables to buying from Ali-Express. Great variety to chose from; most have money back guarantee; all are super cheap by comparison

Check our Goertz Alpha-core they make flat ribbon cables both copper and silver.

I have flat  magnan signature speaker cables if you’re interested. Check them out. They sound spectacular.

@ortodox - take a look at Audio Envy - great perofrmance and affordable

Not strictly a "Ribbon" but they are flat and will provide great dynmic perofrmance and details because they use OCC copper and excellent insulation

Goertz used to make a product that had 4 copper ribbons in mylar side by side. We used that to sandwich the 4 conductors, alternating the + and - connections on each layer. Then we terminated the cable with some large lugs. They worked out fabulous. I've not seen that product in a while though...

OP, you can buy some foil inductors, unwind them, and make cables out of the copper foil.  You can also buy copper foil here:

I have the Goertz Alpha Core MI-2 cables.  Goertz is owned by Bridgeport Magnetics and I have purchased zobel networks directly from them for using with the MI-2 cables.  I think to purchase from Bridgeport you need to phone them.

Last I checked the Cable Company also sells them.  Depending on your amplifier you may want to use zobel networks with the cables. They are simple little four inch or so wires that may be built into the cables nowadays.

I used to have a pair of the Goertz copper ribbon cables.I really liked them and wished I'd kept them. A really relaxed and natural sound. The CableComany does carry them.

If it helps... I have had Audio Envy in my current system; (-1) - having tried several brands, they were uniquely harsh and fatiguing with rock, jazz and classical (strings, brass, symbols)

@inagroove  ,  Audio Envy is interesting to me , Captain wrote to me , he must be a good  engineer.

Are his cables SP12 really so good also in in more expensive hi-fi systems?

A have also on the radar english speaker cable Townshend  Isolda , but it is

is more expensive...

ortodox - "Captain wrote to me , he must be a good  engineer. "  I do not know if he is an engineer, but he is their SALES person.

I have two 6' AE power cables sitting in a box (as emergency back up cables).  Please let me know if you want them.

I currently use Anit-Cable Level-3 power cables (I have 7 of them), and  they are excellent.  Paul, the owner, is easy to work with, and I believe he is an engineer.
