Which AZ cables are you using now?
Cardas or Nordost for Simaudio/Magico
Looking for new cabling for Simaudio 330A amp/390 Pre Streamer into Magico A3 and have narrowed down to Cardas or Nordost primarily as I understand that Simaudio often shows with these cables. Cardas level would be Clear Cygnus (or maybe stretch to Clear), Nordost would be Heimdall 2 (or maybe stretch to Frey 2). Need PC, Speaker and XLR IC. Currently using Acoustic Zen. Ideally, would like a bit more detail and improved soundstaging. Probably will buy used and so just want to pick one and go with it. Appreciate any input.

I’ve got Matrix Ref, Matrix Ref ll, Silver Ref, Silver Ref ll, Satori shotgun bi-wire, and MC2. I can tell you there’s a big difference between the Matrix ll and Silver Ref where the Silvers offer much more upper octave air/detail with a more transparent and expansive 3D soundstage while still maintaining an overall organic and natural AZ sound. Maybe buy a used pair and see if they do what you’re looking for — you might save $$$ vs. other options. Likewise the Holograms are said to be a little more detailed than the Satoris so they may be worth a look as well. Not familiar with AZ power cables, but I’d look at Snake River Audio or maybe Audioquest Hurricane.
