Bad karma, man...
Best audio prank ideas
I was going to add this to another thread - but this deserves its own.
I have a plan to use a spare spot in the switchboard / fuse box to power something I can place under a floor, or above the ceiling.
It will randomly make the sound of a cat. Maybe activated when it is dark?
At some point, I won't be here but someone new will be. They will switch all the RCDs on. Let the fun begin.
"Do you hear a cat?"
I know how the kitchen down lights are wired - I could just add it to that circuit? There is a secondary switch which isn't wired both ways and that has caused me grief thinking that the lights have stopped working.
I know people have a compulsion to have a switch in the off position - no, that won't be off - it will be cat on.
Repair techs have certain initiations for the new guy, such as handing them a fully charged capacitor. At a local shop, a new worker was a high schooler working part time. When he was about to switch on a newly repaired amp, a bunch of us quickly left the room which made him worry about what might happen. |
It is highly unlikely I would ever do this. I mostly understand it to be not cool in a house that I wouldn't be in. I think I play this prank on a friend that occasionally crashes out on my couch. I am trying to write a story about a new tenant who got too involved with The Quantum Cat experiment, became a pig (that only he and I can see) and can hear a cat in the wall. I admit this is not much to do with audio. The thread will likely be deleted. |
@dekay , Yes, carrot crunching sounds are known to be quite omnidirectional. |
