Aurender Conductor App

Is anyone else having a problem with this app? I can't seem to connect, I reached out for support but haven't heard back.

Mine are working fine.

i would reboot your router and extender. Then shut off and restart your Aurender. I have not had this problem… but from my IT days… this would be first steps.

Aurender typically has great customer service… I think I have always got a response within 24 hours… usually much less. I think the US guy is located in Seattle.

I rebooted several times and deleted and reinstalled the app. It says no connected device and won't accept the IP address, not valid. Xfinity assures me all is fine, rebooted the router. No response from Aurender yet. It was fine yesterday.

My Aurender Conductor App connects perfectly to my Aurender N20 server. I do not understand why yours does not. You have completed the items I was going to suggest. Deleting the Conductor App and re-installing is the best option. I also suggest unplugging your Aurender, wait 2 minutes and restart.

please log a remote request with Aurender. Please keep us posted.

it just could be one of those day I was at Audio Connection today and the Innuos and Auralic apps were glitchy

One Rachmaninoff piano concerto (Mercury SR90300 60 years old next month) later no change. I'll have to wait for Aurender to get in touch, I realize it's a holiday weekend. I guess I'm stuck with vinyl till then, woe is Joe.

Pleas log an Aurender remote support request so they can access your unit. Go to settings, help and look for remote support request.

The Memorial Day holiday may delay a response but please log it asap.

It won't let me get to the remote support request without connecting to the n100h first, which I cannot do. I did send 2 emails.

Did you try calling them? But their support is only open Monday to Friday. I tried to post the number for you but AGOn wouldn't accept my post. Try here:

Do you have a large house? I had similar problems once. It turned out that my ethernet cable connected to my Aurender needed to have a slaved router in my basement and that router had died. My main router, upsstairs, simply was not "talking" to the ethernet in my basement connected to my listening room and it made perfect sense except that by all appearances my basement router was fine when it in fact was dead.

Network connection issues can happen with WiFi extenders too. Make sure your controlling device is truly connected to the same network as your Aurender. Just this morning I tried to connect to one of my streamers, but Conductor couldn’t find it. Panic ensued, until I realized my iPad was connected to a non-functioning WiFi extender. Good luck!

+1  This ^^^^

Your Aurender and iPad/tablet MUST be on the same internet network you originally paired them on.

This causes 99.99% of problems. Example, you go out and use mobile internet, get home and my Aurender doesn't work anymore!!!!!!!!!!!

Operator error.

Hi guys, if you ever run into any kind of connectivity issues like this, here is how to troubleshoot:

First, please check that the Aurender is on and has an IP address. You can check on the IP address at the bottom of the screen on the Aurender itself. Depending on what screen you are on, it may or may not display the IP, but you can toggle through different screens by pressing the menu button (3 lines, top right in the square of buttons) repeatedly until you reach the screen with the IP address.

Does it have an IP address or does it state "No IP?" If it says "No IP," please double check the physical ethernet connection. If all connections are intact, try restarting your router and/or any WiFi extenders or wireless access points that may be in use.

If it DOES have an IP address, then please double check that your iPad or Android is on the right WiFi network, quit the Conductor app and reopen it.

In case the app is still not “seeing” your Aurender at this point, please delete the app and reinstall it. IMPORTANT: on Apple devices, you must grant the app permission to access devices on your local network when prompted! Otherwise, it won’t be able to see your Aurender.

If you are getting stuck at this point please let us know via phone or email.

Thanks, and wishing everyone a happy Memorial Day weekend.

Good to know that Aurender America monitors this site. My problems have always been resolved via email and (once) phone.

@joeyfed55, I hope the suggestions from Aurender Support solve your Conductor App connection problem.  Please keep us posted.

There have been many, numerous, detailed reports of Conductor problems including non-functioning when used with any Android device that has had a recent update it is apparent and obvious that Aurender needs a "patch" which I am sure the company will diligently research, develop, and introduce promptly as it has consistently demonstrated in its years of experience.

@clearthink This is absolute uncorroborated nonsense. No patches are required and Android works just fine.

Thanks for the kind replies, still have the problem. My n100h has been operating flawlessly since I've had it, maybe 6 months. I control it with an android phone. Now the IP address shows up as not valid. I've deleted and reinstalled the app numerous times to no avail. I have gotten emails from Ari and am hoping to correspond with him on tuesday after the holiday.

@joeyfed55 Try re-pairing the Aurender again with your tablet.

Switch off your router, switch back on after 10-15s. Go to settings in app, click Aurender at the top and ADD Aurender.

Exaclty as you did when you first got it. I believe something has changed with your internet/IP address.

That's the most likely root of the problem and good advice. If it remedies the issue, consider going into your router and setting a static IP address for the Aurender. That will resolve the problem for once and for all.

Ari Margolis from Aurender solved my problem, operator error. I'm not going to be real specific because I am so embarrased! Thanks for all the concern. Stay well, Joe

Ari is great. Yeah, I understand. I have asked some stupid questions as well.

Ari has been very helpful with problems in the past. Listening now and the N10 sounds great.

Hoping for the numbered quick indexing feature in the songs section to added back soon.

I also have issues with the Conductor app.

What I find most frustrating is in trying to download music files from a usb drive to the Aurender.

If I have a large batch of files to download all at once and one of the files is corrupted the whole batch download fails.  I have to download them one at a time until I hit upon the defective file.  Why can't the software guide me as to the faulty file and give me the opportunity to skip it and all others defective.

Similarily, If I have duplicate files, the software doesn't advise me of this.  It will download 10 copies of the same file without asking if I want to overwrite or skip such file.

Anyone else have these issues, or am I not configuring the software right?

@jscottm, this is a great question and suggestion. All corrupted files should be handled as you suggested.

Please log an Aurender remote support request and ask them. Thanks.

The easiest solution is to put the USB drive into a computer running on the same network as the Aurender. Then you can copy from there into the Aurender.

I had no such issues uploading library from usb connected HDD onto the SSD dtive I installed in my N200. All bad files were ignored and logged. All good files were uploaded. I didn’t have to upload one by one.
I used Conductor v4.

When I got my Aurrender… they found the music files on my network and asked if I would like to download them… I said yes. I came back later, it was done.
