Ansuz

What Is wrong with ansuz cable ? 35k for a power cord, 25k for phono cable. Complete cabling for one system is around half a million. This is getting so ridiculous

Not everyone can afford luxury products and that is just the way it works of course you can find cables that are much less expensive than this that is what you should be looking for.
Well - it would appear that they offer some interesting cable geometries. But this one I know personally.

Noise Suppressing Coil technology
Coil technology that very efficiently suppresses electrical noise.

Having said that, you can make you own IC’s, Speaker Cables and Mains Cables with that very same geometry for a fraction of the cost and it’s pretty easy...

They are ultra quiet cables that offer superb imaging, fast dynamics and stunning clarity

I have them throughout my system and they work extremely well.

Dare I compare them to Ansuz? Only the geometry - their materials are ridiculously expensive, plus thay have a couple of other features the Helix cables do not

Cheers
A coiled cable acts like a choke or an inductor. Similar to air core inductors in many speaker crossovers. This will filter out high frequencies and result in rolled off high frequencies in your audio.

This is not desirable for high fidelity. Ferrite beads can achieve simlar results.

If Ansuz can get away with charging 35k for such bogus benefits available elsewhere at little or no cost then consider it an idiot tax on those who have more money than sense.
35K for a power cord? The full list on a 2M D-TC power cord is 20K in US dollars. Have you heard it let alone compare it?
@shadorne - re: ....

You are correct - however -the amount of inductance and it’s effect on the audio signal is related to the diameter of the coil, number of windings and the spacing of the coil windings.

Also, the coils (i.e. in my helix design) has the signal wire passing through the centre of it
- doesn’t that make it more like a transformer?
- does that have an effect on the overall inductance?

I cannot talk to the Ansuz cables, but I can say with certainty that the coil on my Helix design is designed such that it has no effect on the high frequencies. Others I have consulted with confirm the inductance at play would not effect the audible frequency range.

Also, if you look at my helix design you will note the twisted neutral. This, together with the coil spacing and coil diameter I believe reduces the overall effect of inductance from the coil to very low levels.

My helix cables are the most detailed and well balanced cables I have ever tried and they stack up to some very pricey competition - top end is definitely not an issue.

Don’t get me wrong - $35k is far too much for speaker cables in my book, but the Helix geometry works extremely well - if implemented correctly.

I will keep my money in the USA i have Purist great co great sounding cable.Ansuz is a big joke to me.Enjoy!!
EBM you should listen to the Ansuz especially the D-TC. I think you would be very impressed with the Magico's.
25k for cable if you want a better sound add another 10k for the d-tc. What a joke,. I love high end cables but this is just insane
Make America great again, buy kimber, cardas great cable fairly price no voodo box
@conagie where are you getting your prices from? What cable are you talking about (25K + 10k for D-TC)? The D-TC power box for the Ic's is 4K. Power and speaker cable do not need the power box.. It's not voodoo.
I auditioned Raidho D3's with Ansuz D-TC speaker cables, cables were impressive. Due to the high cost of the D-TC's I went with Ansuz Diamond, I have a good sound but would like to upgrade at some stage.

Upgrading the power cord on my Audio Research GSPre to Ansuz Ceramic is very audible. I am new to this HiFi world and was skeptical at first, I played safe with Ceramic, now that I'm comfortable, my future power upgrades will be Diamond. (Longer cable length recommended).

I have Transparent Ultra cables on my first system but went with Ansuz, as Raidho demo their higher end speakers with them. Transparent higher end cables are very expensive also, (Reference/ Opus).

If the opportunity arises, have a listen to D-TC speaker cables.

As an upgrade to the power cord without the D-TC consider the new version 2. I went from the original C to the C2 and the difference was huge. Honestly IMO the new A2 is better than the original C or D.
I dont have that product
But a lesser priced piece
  Don't play games.  That
Means don't but  2 cheeper products  That do the same thing.    Then turn around and buy an
 A2   Or   There power condishner.
 Let's get that Right
It took me 40+ years to come around on the importance of cables, especially power cables. I have probably read everything there is to read on the subject, by both advocates and naysayers, but in the end none of it matters. The only thing that matters is what you hear. I knew my mid-level synergistic "loom" was an improvement over stock PCs and modest ICs (some self-made), but nothing prepared me for the incredible improvement made by Ansuz C interconnects and PCs. I am now a believer. For reference, my system consists of a VAC Sigma iq 170 integrated amp, a Bricasti M3 DAC and a VPI Prime TT with an Ortofon Blue Cadenza cartridge. This system already sounded very good, but the improvements made by the Anzus cables were astonishing to me. Now, these are not the top of their line, two below actually, so the prices are not as crazy as you might imagine, furthermore 33% discounts are available. I have been so impressed that I am going to replace my M&G speaker cables with Ansuz C's, as well. In all of my years in this hobby, I have not found any component that has made such an improvement for the money. It makes me wonder if I should have invested in great cables before upgrading the other components. I don't think you will experience what your high-end components are truly capable of until you try such excellent cables. For all the nay-sayers, all I can say is try them for yourselves. Dealers usually have loaners you can borrow, but don't say I didn't warn you.

That's what happened to me. Free loaners. I even compared against Nordost Odins (using Ansuz C2 balanced interconnects)... as well as across  X series and other brands. The Ansuz C2 came out as the astonishing "sweet spot" of cost/performance that sounded far better to my ears in my system than anything else I tried (the new diamonds were not available at the time... probably a good thing for me ;) )  In any case, I was one of those "what difference can cables make... bah!" people until I heard for myself in my own system... with no financial strings attached.
Now using TARA Labs MUSE speaker cable the best I have heard in my MAGICO based system. The best without spending 30 or 50k.
For years now I have observed that the price asked simply does not equate in any way to the product offered. Seems to be an ongoing trend in this hobby.
Right now on Audiogon you can get Ansuz Diamond PCs for $2.9K. They listed for $15K.
You can usually get them for far less than retail and I have been very pleased with them (C2 distributor and power cables).
Conagie. Have you heard them? Have you spoken to a dealer to understand Thea actual street price?
The Hemingway cable, Alpha, will out run their top $90K cables. Alpha AC is $2.8K

The Information you shared above is great. I have been reading all you shared here. In this you explained everything very well. If i want any further guideline we will contact you here https://forum.audiogon.com/discussions/ansuz-gosloto.

Hello,

Has any one tested SIGNALZ D-TC (1st version, not D-TC version 2) and without DT-C box ?

Is it full bodied and dynamic (among its other qualities)?

I have the Ansuz DTC2 XLR 2meter interconnects in my system. I do not have the Ansuz PowerBox.

Best interconnects I have ever heard!
