< $3000 speaker recommendation for tube integrated amp?

I’ve thought many times to disassemble my system as I move into retirement. I really do enjoy it so I’ll keep it for the time being.
I keep wondering what $3000/pr speakers would bring to the table, if any improvement? What are some better speaker recommendations < $3000 to compliment my tube amp?

My System:
_Mystere IA11 (40 wpc EL34) tube integrated amp from PrimaLuna
_Thorens TD203 turntable w/ their uni-pivot tonearm/ Ortofon 2m Blue cartridge/ Schiit Mani phono preamp
_Yamaha BDP/ Schiit Modi3 DAC
_DIY Seas Froy3 speaker kit from Madisound in 2003

Musical tastes vary from classical to classic rock, blues, jazz, and world.

Thank you,
Mike

I’ve owned quite a few speaker and tube amp combinations over the last few decades.
Dynaco, AES, Rogue, Cary, Cayin and now Raven Audio amps
ProAc, Merlin, Devore, Soliloquy, Thiel, Monitor Audio and other speakers, and now Nola Boxer S1s.

The two speaker brands that have stood out in my systems are from Devore Fidelity and Nola. I’ve had two models of each of those brands and have been exceptionally impressed with all of them. I have the Nola S1s now but am looking for another pair of Devores.

While I agree Devore's would probably be a great match it may be tough finding them for $3K or less even on the used market.  You could consider something alternatively like the Zu Omen's and keep within your budget.
Klipsch Heresy would do well if it doesn't uncover any hum in the Prima Luna.
Zu Omen 2 and Klipsch Hersey III were on my list but was thinking if I went to $3k I might do better. My amp is dead quiet now with average efficiency speakers.
I will look into Devore and Nola.
I’m slow and methodical so it will be a while before I pull the trigger on speakers.
Thank you.
Focal Electra 1008 BE can be had at your price point.  I have Heresy I speakers and these are in a completely different league.  I haven't heard the newest Heresy III and know that most find them better than the Heresy I, but I would be surprised if they would best the Focals.  If you have a smallish room and are open to a sub, the Harbeth P3ESR is pretty amazing.  I've used them all with my ARC VSI55 tubed integrated.  No experience with your kit speakers, so I have no idea how much of an upgrade, if any, either of these would be.
I agree that used Devore speakers aren't seen as often as higher volume brands but the Gibbon 8, Super 8 and 3XL all sell for around $2.5K used.
The Vandersteen 1ci would be a good match with your 40 watt tube amps. You will save half of your $3000 budget!

Your amp lends itself to many possibilities, If you have any interest in Zu speakers, you should call ZuAudio to speak to Sean Casey for his suggestions because there are a few within your price range.
Your amp lends itself to many possibilities

Agree. In addition to the good recommendations above also consider Tekton Design. A number of Tekton speakers will meet your budget and amp pairing requirements. Used for even greater value.
I also used Reference 3A de Capos with my Primaluna Dialogue One integrated with very good results.  They can be had used for half your budget.  You might even find their Grand Veenas at $3k, if you are patient.  All Ref 3A speakers have nice impedance curves and good sensitivity to match your amp.
Ref 3a and Tektons seems like good options too.
GSM, a call to Zu Audio is a good suggestion.
Tektons are unusual looking speakers w their tweeter array. A little unconventional for me. Zu is a good looking speaker.
a discounted pair of Spendor A4 floorstanders will do the job nicely.  Spendors are the perfect blend of a fast, highly responsive speaker that doesn't come with any of the compromises associated with a high sensitivity speaker.
great bookshelf speakers - Fritz Carbon IV Mk II for around $2,500 new. Had them for little under year - loved them ! Upgraded to Fritz Carrera 7 BE
One of the best speakers for tubes or a set amp is REF 3A MM DECAPO..the anniversity edition will produce imaging n soundstage to amaze u
Yep, Ref 3A speakers are special, IME.  I have owned four different models over the years, and still have a pair of the De Capo i's on hand.  Your Primaluna would like them!
