Can anyone explain why the administrators of this forum deleted the “users with hidden agendas?

Because it’s their forum/place of (unregulated) business and they can delete whatever they want. Or OPs can delete their own threads anytime normally anytime they want. Best to ask the only people who could give you an answer if needed ie the moderators, if desired, but I would expect they are under no obligation to explain such things to anyone if they choose not to. It’s a free forum that serves a business purpose so consider using it a privilege not a right. |

Because some of them are basically crap? Think I may have posted to that thread... so, perhaps I am partially responsible for its deletion (if my post(s) didn't pass the crap test). I've been posting here for 20+ years (search for my early posts - same moniker) and A'Gon has gone through several forum cleansing acts, including shutting down the forums @ one point as far as I recall and to the best of my knowledge. Shills have always been active here, as they have been in most/all of the audio forums I've frequented over the past 20+ years. I've found forum moderation here (A'Gon) to be quite moderate in comparison to other forums. It's their private site and "freedom of speech" does not apply - period. A'Gon and DIY Audio are currently my favorite Audio chatrooms. Used to really like Audioasylum, but burned my bridge there due to political and morality issues I had with the owner and one of his moderators. One of the mods @ Audioasylum refused to remove unsavory posts about usage of a DateRape drug and even "chuckled" @ those posts. DeKay |

Usually, people who are abusive with curt sarcastic remarks are being removed. We were warned back in November/December this would happen shortly after the first of the year. Just think about the tone of this discussion. This platform is for many who are searching for information and wanting to learn. When it changes course with sarcastic remarks, that is when the discussion needs to be pulled. Who wants to be intimidated for asking a question? |
Hopefully someone will do an intervention for you and get you deprogrammed. |

Uh probably because it's the right thing to do as so many feel it's appropriate to post their political and religious views here when its clearly not the right site for this stuff?
Probably because many of us don't want to be bombarded with other peoples agendas of promoting their politics into an audio gear related forum. And no, they shouldn't have the "right" to post anything they want anywhere they want just because they're used to posting all over the web all day.

It seem to me that people jealous guys that have pretty lady fast car nice system. I confident when I bench 400 at the gym that lady come over start conversation all time. When guy will beer belly curl in corner with shoulder down he get no action. Same in audio world when you have system that get lady people start having problem. |

Lust like office politics there are forum politics. My cousin is blocked not banned right now and he was selling some gear on this site. They are in jeopardy of losing that business now. Cutting one’s nose off to spite one’s self. Bet they delete this post. |
