Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Adrian Quesada  ---  Jaguar Sound  (recent release that's tough to classify)  [Roon tags it as Alternative Indie Rock/Pop / Neo-Psychedelia / R & B / Retro Soul]  Worth a listen.

Vince Guaraldi,  A Charlie Brown Christmas. The 2022 Remix Super Deluxe Edition in HR.

John Entwistle’s bass guitar on Magic Bus truly rattled my stomach.

Twisted Sister, “Stay Hungry”. MFSL Vinyl

Traffic - On the Road (1973)

Before that, a little Fleetwood Mac - RIP Christine

Paul McCartney- 7" Singles in HR.

He did some pretty good songs, some that are ok, and quite a few stinkers.

IMHO that is.

Christine McVie, Christine McVie. If you like Christine McVie, you’ll like this album. As far as I know, only one song ( Got A Hold On Me ) from  this album got Airplay in the states.

@ozzy

I am a huge Paul McCartney fan, but he has put out some whole albums that make you wonder.

@designsfx

Isn’t Neal Francis great? He’s got a few other albums out that are good. Check out Changes.

@curiousjim

Yes! I really like his songwriting/storytelling style and the production is done very well. Heading into town this week for more disks- I’ll definitely pick up his other stuff.

If you haven’t already- check out the last album I posted yesterday called “Simple Syrup”. Sunny War is a LA local and she’s really good! She has an interesting folk style backed by guitar/cello, very cool.

Concert For George- Surprising there are some pretty good versions of George's songs sung by some big names.

Boondocking in AZ so it's either mp3 files or Pandora on my phone via Bose speaker,  lol.  When I get back it'll be Tab Benoit.  Either Medicine or Fever For the Bayou.  Excellent guitar, old school tube amps, "live" studio recordings, Telarc CDs.

AC/DC Back in Black- Never get tired of this album. Highway To Hell a close second.

J.S. Bach, The Brandenburg Concertos.

I have a two CD set on the Philips label that I listen to at least a couple of times a year. Always puts a smile on my face.

Now Playing:

Archie Lee Hooker and the Coast To Coast Blues Band- Living In A Memory

This is Excellent!

Cosi.

Jochum conducting the Berliners.

Streaming on Qobuz to iFi and Campfire in ear speakers.

1990 Led Zeppelin CD box set. I'm enjoying JP's setlist and this remaster sounds amazing to my elven ears.

CCR, “Cosmos Factory”
One of my favorite albums when in High School.

Pink Floyd, “The Final Cut”  CD   My least favorite PF album, should have been a Waters solo album.

Stanley Jordan, “Flying Home”  CD

Milt Jackson / Ray Brown / Mickey Roker / Joe Pass  ---  The Ellington Album "All Too Soon"

@david_ten

Way back when Joe Pass performed at the school I was going to- he did note hammering with his nose!

@stereo5

Cosmo was one of my favorites in HS as well.  Was your copy thinner or made of a different material and you could flex it like a piece of sheet metal and make wha wha noises? I wore that one out and rebought the album, then the CD, then one of the anniversary reissues!😁
