@big_greg Hey Greg, streamed some Jamiroquai after you mentioned it on another thread, interesting stuff. For some reason it led to DSotM as a nightcap. 😎

Listened to the newest….return to my older vinyl version…

Beatles - Revolver. Apple Records reissue 1975, originally 1966

Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour. Capitol reissue/remaster 2012 180gram. Originally 1967

Cowboy Junkies  Songs of the Recollection   Wow but I love the CJ's .

The Beatles   Revolver  I love the new release but I also love my 1982 Beatles Collection Japanese pressing .

@big-greg

I read several of you posts about RSD pressing and agree with you about them ,     I just played the new Lou Reed Transformer , slightly dished and has more Crackle than a box of Sugar Pops !  I'm going to return/sell it back for whatever and take the hit .

Eels - Beautiful Freak. DreamWorks reissue 2015 180 gram, originally 1996

Jack White - Acoustic Recordings 1998-2006

Third Man Records 2016 2LP gatefold

San Remo Festival-1968 Twelve Greatest Hits(Epic BF 19056) Side 1

Bartok/Stokowski(Everest SDBR 3069) Side 1

Emmylou Harris-Elite Hotel Side 1

Queen-News Of The World Side 1

Teena Marie-Naked To The World Side 2 SQ* Audiophile

Sergio Mendes & Brasil ’66-ST Side 1 SQ Audiophile

Iron Maiden-Piece Of Mind Side 1

The Don Shirley Trio-In Concert Side 2 SQ*

SQ* Don Shirley could have Audiophile SQ but my thrift store album had excessive static/noise despite the perfect cover. Teena had Audiophile SQ with a very digital tonality. might sound better on CD? By default a mint thrift store find Brazil ’66 takes the SQ crown. Emmylou and Queen were a slight disappointment regarding SQ.

Started out with Little Feat.

Electrif Lycanthrope, then Waiting for Columbus.

Something or other got my attention in a riff and I wound up playing The first half of Explosions in the Sky's "Those who tell the truth shall die... those who tell the truth shall live forever."

On THAT theme, I then played Fripp & Eno's No Pussyfooting, side 1, "Heavenly Music Corporation."

Loving this new tonearm/cartridge combo (SME V and Benz Micro Glider SL).

Tomorrow, Rammstein.

It's 6.30am here in the UK.  Not sure what tonight's vinyl playlist  will be, but last night it was the following....Bob Dylan - Oh Mercy,  Heart - Dream Boat Annie,  The Cure - Standing On A Beach, Poco - Rose of Cimmaron and Neil Young - Comes a Time.

The United States Of America

The Kevin Gray remastering on Quality Record Pressings. Fantastic record.

Rhiannon Giddens With Francesco Turrisi – There Is No Other (Nonesuch 2019)

Betty Vaiden Williams – Folk Songs And Ballads Of North Carolina (Vanguard 1958 mono)

Jean Michel Jarre – Equinoxe (Polydor 1978)

Still plays NM after all these years. Bought in 1980 and played it hundreds of times.
