The follow up to Van Halen

was "Jimi Hendrix at Monterey "

and Leo Kottke  "6 & 12 String Guitar "

@dabel

I just picked this up on the recommendation ( a good one at that ) of my guitar playing friend who grew up listen to VH , he can play Eruption  and all of Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin .

I more of a Moody Blues , Pink Floyd & Jimi Hendrix king of guy on the Rock side.

The Vince Guaraldi Trio. " a Charlie Brown Christmas "

deluxe edition with second album of outtakes and false starts .

David Crosby  " If I Could Only Remember My Name "  Classic Records 45rpm

David Crosby & Lighthouse Band   RSD  EP 45rpm

found this at the record store the other day

Brasil "65 with The Sergio Mendes Trio ,  Capitol Records Japanese Red Vinyl

David Crosby. " If I Could Only Remember My Name "  Classic Records 45rpm series

Jefferson Airplane  " Crown of Creation "  Mobil Fidelity

A Tribute to John Fahey. " I Am The Resurrection "  Vanguard 45rpm

Sergio Mendes & Brasil 66  " Herb Alpert Presents "   Speakers Corner

Speakers Corner pressed 3 of the 7 Brasil 66 albums , this one ,  Look Around and Equinox .   I scored all 3 from the same German seller !

Pink Floyd  1970's Japanese pressing

way to go george53  , i have 2 copies of that album

Cowboy Junkies  Songs of the Recollection   Wow but I love the CJ's .

The Beatles   Revolver  I love the new release but I also love my 1982 Beatles Collection Japanese pressing .

@big-greg

I read several of you posts about RSD pressing and agree with you about them ,     I just played the new Lou Reed Transformer , slightly dished and has more Crackle than a box of Sugar Pops !  I'm going to return/sell it back for whatever and take the hit .

Pink Floyd  Meddle  Japanese pressing

Dark Side of the Moon. 1st Japanese pressing

Takes me back to the Wish You Were Here Tour traveling from Chicago to the Milwaukee County Stadium .  They played the entire WYWH and DSOTM with Echoes as the oncore !  The mushrooms worked their magic that night !

Yasmin Williams   Urban Driftwood

If you like John Fahey and Leo Kottke

then you might like the guitar playing of Ms. Williams .

bleske

Great album , I saw him for the first time in the early 70's at the Quite Knight in Chicago .

I have almost all of his albums !

@mammothguy54

 I happy to hear the music brings back enjoyable memories to you also.

In Chicago the fireworks were over the lake a great black background , I enjoyed them from the late 60's thru the late 80's .

@bkeske

You forgot sitting on a blanket holding your viewing spot for hours while drinking with friends. That's why I took the L train or rode my bicycle .

Reiner & CSO. Tchaikovsky "1812 Overture "

Classic Records 200 gram

I would go to Grant Park in Chicago to listen to the 1812 with cannons and watch the fireworks that were timed to the music .

Brasil 66  " Stillness "

A & M  Japanese pressing

All the Brasil 66 albums have fantastic recording engineering , it's fortunate that 3 of their releases were pressed by Speakers Corner .

I've used Debrox solution but I think the peroxide works better ,
 I still have to " POP " my ears at the beginning of every album
to hear the higher frequencies .

Led Zeppelin - Into the Light 1969 , bootleg .

David Crosby  " Hear if You Listen "  " Lighthouse " & " For Free "

The Byrds  " 5th Dimension "

Joni Mitchell   " Joni Mitchell "

@spiritofradioThak Youn

I've been fortune enough to have seen him live 2 times in the 70's ,
he's joined his old friend Steve Goodman .
Today in memory of John Prine
I'll be playing nothing but JP albums ,
I have them all .
R.I.P Mr. Prine

Great choice , the album I use when testing any new equipment .
Just listened to Oscar Peterson Plays the Jerome Kern Song Book .
