Black Acid Soul - S/T…in my mind a O Holy ! LP

Black Sabbath
Born Again (Purple Sabbath)

“BLACK SABBATH – BORN AGAIN MASTER TAPES FOUND; TONY IOMMI PLANNING TO REMIX”

not an audiophile recording…

Neil Young - Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere

Traffic - The Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys

Marvin Gaye - What's Goin On

Lou Rawls - All Things In Time

Decent set, but tomorrow I get to play for most of the day.  I have plans...

BTW Reubent, I agree with you about "Tattoo You". I especially like the second side of that album.

The ancient Telefunken have an affinity for;

Fleetwood Mac - Rumors ( 45 rpm but the pressing quality is C at best )…..

@spiritofradio James…funny, i can recall the exact moment i heard War Pigs for the first time on a very low fidelity rig….but freaking galvanizing…..

@boxer12  - "Tattoo You" closes side 2 really strong with "No Use in Crying" and "Waiting for a Friend". Listening to it now! Great album. Thanks for the reminder...

I was lucky enough to see the Stones live while they were promoting "Tattoo You". They were touring with Santana. What a treat that was!

The Doors - L. A. Woman.  This is a really nice reissue from around 2016.  Great dynamics and sound quality, very quiet vinyl.

Brian Eno - Another Green World.

He really is the King of "obscure and catchy".

+1 @tunehead ..Eno for King..

+1 @bslon ... the Analog Productions Amused to Death is an Excellent recording/pressing

Arrived today,

The White Stripes "S/T"

When I ordered this, it was said to be cut at BG Mastering. There is no mention of this in print on the lp or inner sleeve or in the dead wax. Not even 2022 on back jacket.

Flaming Lips - Transmissions From The Satellite Heart

1993/2011 Warner Bros Remaster

Dead quiet pressing from Pallas.

Roxy Music - Siren  1975 but this is a reissue I got last year.  Virgin Records and pressed in the EU.  Brings back good memories...

PJ Harvey - To Bring You My Love  So glad you guys turned me on to PJ

Joni Mitchell - Don Juan's Reckless Daughter  I inherited this, along with about 20 others, from a friend a couple of years ago.  This is a Japanese pressing, with the OBI strip.  Just mesmerizing sonics and a wonderful album.

The Motels - S/T  I got this last week from Discogs.  Thanks to Dayglow for the deadwax information so I was sure to get the right pressing.  This is a great album and equally good in SQ.  Glad to have this, making my Motels collection complete.

Paul Simon - Graceland  25th Anniversary Edition, pressed at RTI.  Fabulous!!!

Tsuyoshi Yamamoto Trio - Blues To East

most certainly an audiophile recording

The Tubes - "What Do You Want From Live"

Is it the greatest live rock recording, ever? Maybe, Maybe not. All I know, is it is on my TT more often than any other live record from my rack. So much fun, and the musicianship is off the charts. And having seen them on the same tour when this was recorded, it's hard to image it sound so good, considering the antics that were going on, on the stage, at the same time...

I just saw The Tubes a couple of months ago here in Cincinnati. Fee Waybill and Roger Steen still going strong at age 72. The Tubes Forever!

Rita Marley-Who Feels It Knows It Side B

Janie Fricke-It Ain’t Easy-Side 1

Eagles-Long Run Side 1

Herbie Hancock-Perfect Machine Side 2 SQ Audiophile

Ruth Price-With Shelly Manne..(Contemporary S7590).Side 1 SQ*

Bob Seger-Beautiful Loser Side 2

Fathers & Sons(CBS FC 37972) Side 2 SQ Audiophile

Eric Clapton-August Side 2

Perfect Machine is a reference level recording regarding SQ. *Ruth Price is a live recording at The Mann Hole(1960) The SQ is borderline Audiophile it does have some tape hiss but the stellar performance more then makes up for this.
