This was my first time. The music was great and really had no idea how personal his lyrics were. Didn't realize the two female band members wrote some of the songs. Band was tight!

Rory Gallagher - The Story So Far

Polydor Promo 1974

Great taste from a few of his early solo albums.

I just read that he was asked to audition with the Stones when they were recording Black & Blue but he withdrew from consideration for his solo career. I'm a Ronny Wood fan but wouldn't that have been interesting.

Jim, Rush - Moving Pictures is one hell of an album.  I'll have to play it this weekend.  I have an early period press in perfect condition and also a reissue done in DMM (direct metal master).  That one seems to be a bit more forward, but I think my original copy sounds just a bit more organic.

Steve Miller  "Children Of The Future"  Not such good SQ, but what a great album.

George Benson  "In Flight"  Rather good SQ, and also a great album.
