Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"

OK…whew home…after surgery and 5 nites in hospital w world class surgeons and care. most of The food did suck. Restoration of blood flow to left foot was objective and they got that nailed, well stapled anyway. i won’t be spinning vinyl for a few more weeks, so just lurking for server or streamer inspiration….

War dept has been picking stuff off Pandora, will fire up big rig later. i was successful in walking her thru Espresso maker operation, stereo should be a breeze…

hope everyone is well.

i feel grateful and blessed

Jim
Incubus - Serpent temptation LP.
Sodom - Persecution mania LP.

Bathory - The return LP.
Received my Preamplifier back from PSA after a two week round trip turnaround so I am very happy with the service.

First record up is Dire Straits S/T - 45 RPM MoFi remaster and it sounds fantastic.

I have always cherished my original WB pressing that I bought way back when but have to say that MoFi has met the challenge.
Jim,
So glad to hear you are doing okay! Take care of yourself

@bkeske Brian, I'm still working my way through the letter C, getting everything into Discogs.  There's a lot of Elvis Costello in my near future!
Van Morrison- Tupelo Honey 1971 WB
Grateful Dead- Wake of the Flood 1983

@bkeske when I saw you were on a Kottke roll I wondered if you would get to “My Father’s Face.” It’s a personal favorite, but looks like you moved into Richard Thompson before you got to that one.
"Fine and Mellow" Ella Fitzgerald jams with: Tommy Flanagan, "Lockjaw" Davis, Louie Bellson, Clark Terry, Zoot Sims, Joe Pass, Ray Brown, Harry Edison.

It’s interesting, I have never purchased any Leo albums beyond the 70’s, as that is when I listened to him most. But, that is going to change, I do have my eyes on some of his work post 70’s. Well, I’ll take that back, I do have ‘Standing in My Shoes’ on CD from 1997. I have been real close to purchasing his newest on vinyl, as I’ve listened to it on Tidal and like it a lot. I would also like to get a copy of ‘Great Big Boy’ on vinyl. I’ll also save ‘My Fathers Face’ on my wishlist. Thanks

EDIT: Just bought his newest with Gordon on vinyl.
@tomic601

I'm heading out on a 2 1/2 day fishing trip tomorrow night.  As soon as I hook up I'll bring it in with you in mind.  Tight lines!!!

Glad you’re home @tomic601 . Take it easy Jim and heal up soon.

What is FFSS full frequency stereophonic sound?

FFSS is the result of an entirely new and exclusive technique which offers the highest definition of sound ever achieved in recording.  In addition to reproducing the sound of each musical instrument in its Full Frequency Range, FFSS also recreates these sounds in your room so that the sound of each instrument reaches your ears from the same direction as it would from its position in the concert hall.
