Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1
The ClashBlack PumasCanned Heat, Boogie with Canned HeatThe Rolling Stones Let it Bleed.

Leon Russell  "Will O' The Wisp"  I just love this album

Poco  "Legend"  Talk about this a couple of days ago got me to pull it out and give it a spin.  MoFi, in perfect condition.

Michael Hedges  "Watching My Life Go By"  Promo copy, all analog recording and mixing, excellent SQ.  Outstanding, eclectic acoustic guitar style.  He can make a guitar sound like 3 instruments, at the same time.  How sad, he died in a solo car crash in 1997.  Rain soaked road and skidded off, down a cliff.  I guess his album title says a lot.
+3 mammothguy54 All great albums! If you have time maybe you could contribute to my Windham Hill Top 5 Thread?
Carlos Santana / Divine Light (CD)
I would love to find this one on vinyl (can't)

A good source for late-same-day RSD online sales. I can attest to their good service, packing and shipping.  Also, indecently,  I believe this is @reubent ’s favorite LRS.

@tomic601 hey Jim, as of a few minutes ago they still had copies of the Charles Lloyd album.
@ mammouthguy54 and big_greg
Sorry that I have not responded . I have been out of town .
Thanks for the info. I do appreciate your efforts to help out.
Thanks Again!
I sauntered into my local record store today around 1:00 pm and was very pleasantly surprised that they had one copy left of the RSD release Bill Evans Behind the Dikes. I snapped it up and just got the chance to sit and listen - so far, it sounds very nice!
Captain Beefheart And The Magic Band ‎– Doc At The Radar Station
1980 OP Virgin - VA 13148

Just some easy listening music for a Sunday afternoon.
@spiritofradio it's a 1976 reissue.  It just sounded really good, well engineered and a good pressing.  I have a small system in my computer room - Simaudio 600i integrated, an old JVC QLY66F direct drive table with a Denon DL-301 MK2 cart, Manley Chinook phono stage, and Harbeth P3ESR speakers.  It's really a nice little system that would easily make a nice main system in a small room, but due to space limitations, it's more like listening with headphones because the speakers are only about 4 feet away.  With this record there was actually a fleshed out soundstage, including height.
Well, I ended up buying a bunch of RSD leftovers.  I love/hate Record Store Day.
Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit "Live at The Ryman"

Can already tell I’m very disappointed in the SQ. My music friend lent me a burned CD and I wasn’t impressed. The lp sounds like a blanket, well maybe a couple of sheets, over the music. So sad.
@spiritofradio - thumbs up for Plaid Room Records. Yes, it is my LRS and GREAT people. Love supporting them.
@reubent ,

Just placed an order with Plaid Room.
Their site worked great on my mobile phone!

John Prine "Live" 4lp set
Saint Paul & The Broken Bones "Live"
Rory Gallagher
Canned Heat "Boogie With Canned Heat"
Liberty/stereo/pp
Recent record show purchase. Didn’t look great but decided to put my lp cleaning regiment into full play. Highly enjoyable!!
@slaw - Glad you are supporting the gang at Plaid Room. They really are fantastic people.
Hey @reubent ,..
My local record store, with which I signed up with, specifically for special things such as RSD, has never contacted me.
Glad to support other BAM dealers,!
Herbert Blomstedt conducts Nielsen - The Symphonies of Carl Nielsen Volume 1 - Symphony No. 1, 2, & 3. Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra. Seraphim 3 LP box 1975
@reubent I've bought a lot of stuff from plaid room. All positive experiences.

@slaw I went to see Hell's Belles, an all-female AC/DC tribute band last night. They put on a great show and are a lot of fun to watch.
Ultimate Painting- S/T. Never heard of them before, found it in the used been at the LRS while I was shopping for RSD titles. It's pretty cool.
Well... so much for Ultimate Painting. Had a skip halfway through the 3rd song.

Moving on to Warren Zevon - Bad Luck Streak In Dancing School.
Rickie Lee Jones eponymous
Warner Bros 1979

Moody Blues
On the Threshold of a Dream
Deram 1969
Pretty forgettable
The Black Keys - Delta Kream. This is a band that I had kind of lost interest in, but this record reawakened that interest.
Oneohtrix Point Never - Betrayed in the Octagon. From the June RSD drop, clear vinyl.
Getz/Gilberto 2, Live at Carnegie Hall - just bought this on Discogs, and am pretty disappointed with this copy- the seller rated it NM, but it it's got so much surface noise it's nearly unlistenable! It looks good, so they must have just rated it by sight. I love the album, though, so am now looking for another copy.
