Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1
Whew. Taking the ‘fusion’ temp down a notch after Frank (love Hot Rats).

Montreux - Sign Language. Windham Hill Records 1987

Haven’t spun this in years...

@spiritofradio,

Regarding CSN couch lp. I'd be willing to send you my BG mastered copy to hear if you'd like?
Thanks Steve, really nice of you to do that.
I’m thinking of breaking down and getting the one step.  What do you think?
Me too.

My offer would be in the hope you would post your impressions then send it back.

All pp aren't bad.
i am nurturing a nice dry rub tri-tip on the Treager out on the deck staring at the Pacific.... contemplating the eve playlist.....

?
i got an email from Amazon saying my delivery of Lloyd Tone Poet might stretch into late April, sounds like it is selling briskly James - how wonderful;-)..... i can wait.....
Steve - i am working a plan for your Sockeye, but sure head West !,, first shot in the AM Monday......jazzed...
Steve,
So sorry about your mother's current health situation. Hang in there buddy.

Oneida / Each on teach one
Van Morrison and the Chieftains with a cold Guinness getting ready for St Pat's.
@slaw of course, that would be the plan.  As you know, I much prefer OPs & PPs to fancy audiophile-oriented represses and will continue to try to find a good copy of that record.  Was saying (Separately) thinking of spending on the one-step.  My experience with the couch album so far has been similar to Joel’s.
@tomic601 I pre-ordered that new Charles Lloyd from somewhere, don’t remember which - amazon’s Cardboard continues to disappoint.    What’s been released so far sounds great.
Early session tonight... big bowl of Pho, couple shrimp spring rolls, two (xl) cans Sapporo and straight into Walter Trout, "Livin' Every Day", Joe Bonamassa "Slo Gin" & now Terry Reid, "Superlungs" - prob been said here 100x but, imagine turning down the lead in Led Zeppelin?!
A food club... yes, the Traeger is perfect for a tri-tip with a good rubb.
Awesome for any kind of fish, too.  That's what I really bought it for.

Play list for tonight...
John Mayall  'Turning Point'
Fleetwood Mac  'Then Play On'
Atlanta Rhythm Section  'Champagne Jam'  Saw you guys talking about that earlier this week so pulled it out for tonight.
Cloudy and cold night here, seems perfect to play all 4 sides of
Pink Floyd   'The Division Bell'  I saw that concert shortly after the album was released.  At the Rose Bowl, free tickets and really good seats👍
Joel ! ya man fish on the Traeger...yum....

smoked charred edge Bluefin, off charts....

Dregs - Industry Standard, warming up....
Mountain Goats / Life of the world to come
This is a great band. I believe Steve (Slaw) has mentioned them here before
@slaw

Steve, indeed I have. What an underrated 80s band. I need to put them back in regular rotation and fill in some gaps with a few missing Church records.
Dead - Built to Last ( NM Club edition ) not the last word in low end extension, but enjoyable......
Earl Wild
Rachmaninoff: Piano Concerto No. 2
The Royal Philharmonic
Joscha Horenstein, Conductor

Good news, it looks like the Hagerman Trumpet is arriving tomorrow, a day earlier than originally scheduled.
@bkeske,

You should have had the Trumpet drop shipped here so I could break it in for you.
@slaw

lol, I appreciate the offer Steve, but I’m a bit anxious to hook that baby up myself.
Alois Springer conducts Roussel - Piano Concerto , O.P. 36 & Ravel - Piano Concerto In G Major. Hamburger Symphoniker With Maria Littauer, piano. Turnabout 1971
surprised nobody volunteered to break the Trumpet in shoreside in Hawaii.......i could be reasonably good at that.....with a pomegranate Margarita... ( an aside, if you get to Lahaina , the upstairs bar at Fleedwoods ( yes that Fleetwood ) serves a wonder version of that drink.....
Just arrived......

Jimbo Mathis/Andrew Bird "These 13"

This may interest you @reubent ?
BTW, don’t see The Decemberists mentioned here often, The King is Dead is such a wonderful album and sounds wonderful as well. Recommended!
