Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1
@big_greg, will take you up on that.  Grey’s Anatomy just had Redmond assigned to her group, consequently we will be through your neighborhood  occasionally.

I was surprised that Allmusic only gave Sugarloaf three stars. They did however give Jailbreak five stars, deservedly so.
In my town if your friend in High School only had about 6 records that was bound to be one of them.
Norah Jones tonight

Earlier:
Beastie Boys
Led Zeppelin
B-52’s
Talking Heads

Good times!
Well, while in my ‘lost albums’ section, I figured I would spin another.....it’s been years....like over 40 I’m sure...

Stoneground - Family Album. WB 2LP set 1971
James - ya gotta drive right by my exit to get to Redmond....just make sure i am actually....home
guest DJ nite with James and Greg at Poverty Bay Sounds, that would be fun....where did i misplace that vaccine vial ????
If you guys like Thin Lizzy, check out the song - "Little Girl in Bloom". Wow!
@tomic601 I'm going to add a DPDT switch so I can switch between both supplies. I'll then get a better perspective. It's interesting. Changing the power tubes makes huge differences to the presentation. It's a definite improvement in some areas - more holographic, more texture and authority. The downside seems to be a muddling of bass/ drums on more complex material.
Reading this thread I often times get ideas of what to play, or what to buy.  So, Thin Lizzy, hey I think I have one of their albums.  I looked (everything is alphabetized) and sure enough, I have one album, 'Bad Reputation'.  I bought it new in 1977 and haven't played it in probably 40 years.  OK then, I'll clean it and play it later today.  I hope the SQ is good.  I know that I like the band.
Thanks for another good suggestion!
String Driven Thing ‎- The Machine That Cried (Charisma 1973)

You know it! A masterpiece.
Finally done for the day, and a couple ‘new’ LP’s in the mail, first up...

George Weldon conducts Elgar - Cockaigne, Overture, Chanson De Matin And Chanson De Nuit, Pop And Circumstance Marches, & Serenade For Strings In E Minor. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. RCA Victrola 1968

Atlanta Rhythm Section - "Champagne Jam" - MFSL  1-038 in the house! Thanks Discogs!

Thanks @slaw for bringing it back to my attention. Sounds great.
Doc Evans, Knocky Parker, Albert Nicholas, Earl Murphy, Gene Juckem ‎- Reminiscing In Dixieland, Stomps & Blues Vol 1 (Audiophile 1959)
Very interested in this one which arrived today.

No conductor, just ‘Members of the Berlin Philharmonic’ and Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, baritone - Fauré, La Bonne Chanson / Ravel, Chansons Madécasses / Poulenc, Le Bal Masqué. HNH reissue 1977, originally 1976.

Vinyl looks pristine, hopefully it plays the same.
@noromance

@bkeske +1  the Elgar.

That is a really nice LP. Elgar is relaxing. Not complex in the least, just entertaining music.
Had to swap in my mono cart....

No doubt - tragic!
Lynyrd Skynrd - Street Survivors.  Play grading this one as I thought it would go to the bin since I have the MFSL, but this sounds surprisingly good.  It's a repress with the modified cover.
I have the Universal reissue from 20 ? years ago and it sounds great! Has the flame cover. This may be one of those recordings that will always sound good.
Well Jim, I found a German 1977 pressing with the original cover on Discogs described as NM for a reasonable price, will compare it to the others.  Funny, I paid $25 new for the MOFI just 3 years ago, now they are listed on Discogs for over $100.
Teddy Wilson And His Trio – Mr. Wilson And Mr. Gershwin (Columbia 1959 mono)
Well, still have the mono cart on the SOTA, so going to spin some of my mono vinyl this evening. It’s been a while.

This album I have I listened to once. I think it’s a fairly common feeling that not all great conductors are necessarily great composers. And, I wasn’t impressed the first time I listened to this, but, decided to try it again.

Wilhelm Furtwängler conducts Furtwängler - Symphony #2. Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. Originally recorded in 1951. Deutsche Grammophon 2LP set, unknown release date. Mono.
Natalie Lamb & Sammy Price ‎– And The Blues
(G.H.B. 1980)

Been playing this a lot recently. Recommended.
Budapest String Quartet - Beethoven: The Six Quartets, Op. 18. Odyssey reissue 3LP box set, 1969. Originally recorded 1951.

Mono

Been wanting to play this set for a while, but waited until I was unlazy enough to mount my mono cart. Just a fantastic recording and performances.
