Wonderful album. Jazz blues with violin.

Aeolian String Quartet - Haydn : Volume One: String Quartets Op. 71 & 74. London 3LP box set, 1973
Max Webster - "A Million Vacations"

Fun stuff from back in my College Days. Saw Max Webster open a couple of times for Rush back in 1979/80ish. Kim Mitchell was a GREAT front man.
a bit in arrears...

Linda R - Prisoner
Karla B, Restless Nights and her S/T release...
Weather Report: Heavy Weather... Legacy release. Just doesn’t cut it. First side just awesome, second side... not so much. Just can’t recommend. Great tunes though, need to find the original.

Tower of Power: Back to Oakland much, much better.
Peter Ludwig / Peter Wöpke / Arben Spahiu ‎– Café Banlieue (Farao Studios 2006)

Sublime. Recommended.
closing up shop....Linda - Living in the USA

love her reverence for George, Zevon, and Souther......
@noromance   I have both of those Van Der Graaf albums, original UK pressings.  They are in perfect condition but I have not listened to them since the mid-to-late 80s.  I'll clean and spin them this week due to seeing your posting of listening to them.  I can't even remember what the music is like.  Am I in for a treat?  Is the SQ really good?  Please let me know.
Thanks.

@tomic601 Long live Zevon!  I had a chance to see him live maybe 20 years ago.  I believe at the Moore Theater in Seattle.  He was not the headliner (I don't remember who was), but put on a great show.  Quite a guitar player.
Arrived in the mail today....

10,000 Maniacs - In My Tribe. Elektra 1987.

First Maniacs on vinyl.
Sounds fantastic Jim. LP is in great shape. I’ve only had this on tape, yes, a cassette, since it first came out. What is it about vinyl that always makes you think you are listening for the first time......?
