@tomic601 Re the Croft warm-up, dunno...10 minutes. Why? You having issues?
 Thanks @noromance I was thinking an album
side the first eve For warmup but no magic last eve - I need to revisit the cart setup.....
@tomic601 I take it you've not played this rig in a while. If so, and the Croft isn't giving you the magic, swap out the phono tubes with some spare 12AX7s and see what happens.
The Incredible String Band ‎– U (Elektra 1970)

Sides 1&4.
Solid recording on NM vinyl. Magic stuff.
Wolfgang Sawallisch Conducts Schubert - Complete Symphonies (5 LP box set). Staatskapelle Dresden.

Listening to symphonies 3&4, and maybe more. Philips. European pressing, rerelease, probably mid to late 70’s.

@tomic601

Grover Washington Jr. - Winelight, Nautilus SuperDisc
Super Tramp- Crime of the Century. MFSL
Charles LLoyd and the Marvels + Lucinda Williams - Hidden Gardens ( Blue Note )
Fell asleep last night....lol

But I must admit to owning not only Frampton Comes Alive but Frampton Comes Alive 2 as well....

And if you want a good laugh then watch Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band.......
Well, my power went out part way through Communique and after it was restored one of my power conditioners goes into fault mode.  Argh.

I love putting on Frampton Comes Alive from time to time.  I think there are better live albums for sure and I get that like anything super popular there will be detractors.  I saw Frampton a year or two ago and it was one of the better shows I've been to.  It was at a casino in a smaller venue and he was very funny and engaging, with lots of great stories.  And he played quite well.
Karajan conducts Mendelssohn - 5 Symphonies. Box set. Berliner Philharmonic. Deutsch Grammophon. Reissue 1981.

Starting out with 1&2, then see where it goes.
@tomic601 Re the Croft, I replaced the power cord (cheap OFC rhodium from ebay) with good results and don't forget the fuse (PTFE tape on glass only).
Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers - new reissue half speed mastered - frankly disappointed - sounds flat

+1 on Communique @big_greg
Kenny Burrell - Introducing Kenny Burrell - Tone Poet Blue Note - excellent

Rolling Stones - Some Girls - new half-speed mastered reissue - better than Sticky Fingers but still not great
Keith Richards - "Talk is Cheap"

30th Anniversary Edition on 180G Wine Red Vinyl............
@drrsutliff

The Modern Jazz Quartet - The Last Concert

Excellent. Only have that on a CD set. Should really look into getting it on vinyl.

Edit: just purchased a vinyl set on Discogs. ;-)
Some Girls ( I have an OP with the Celeb insert - banned ) and it rocks !!!! Love that album
@noromance i have an isotek power cord on the Croft and have a better set of tubes to swap in. I may PM you on this fuse modification! Thanks
