Another Strong SQ night, might be due to the Phasemation 200? Have about 35 hours on it, at 50 will give a very brief overview. Dick Haymes takes the SQ crown tonight with one of my favorite male Jazz Vocal recordings in my vinyl collection.
I’m wondering what your system consists of, it would give your SQ ratings some context. Especially your turntable, arm and phono with your new cartridge.
Your playlist selections are all over the board (like @noromance), I like that, especially for streaming new (to me) music. Thanks for that.
@bslon I appreciate the interest. I sent you a PM 8-25-22 with a very detailed equipment list since you had asked. The only change has been a Phasemation pp 200 which has replaced a Goldring Legacy cartridge.
Listening to "Middle Cyclone" again and realizing how wrong I use to be in thinking it was a much better sounding recording. Love the record and the artist but I’d give it a solid 8 on SQ. I have a black vinyl pressing and the "clear" pressing I purchased off her website back in the day.
