I watched the first two episodes of the Stax story I think on Apple maybe HBO on the plane. I highly recommend and can’t wait to see the rest!

But that got me pull out the original mono stax Green Onions, original Stax Albert King Born Under a Bad Sign and the Otis Redding Otis Blue on Volt also mono (I’ve been on a mono kick and have my cartridge on).

This stuff is so soulful and timeless. And bad ass, and of course essential to rock n roll. Fun stuff!

MIA for 2 weeks as my new cartridge(Phasemation pp 200) breaks in. After tonight the 200 has about 22 hours on it. Played which might be one of my most valuable $ vinyl recordings CJ-56 which did not disappoint in SQ or content. Only Bennett/Sinatra have been previously played.
