While I’m at it...

Santana "S/T" MFSL/45rpm

SQ= sounding extremely good! That's what I'm talking about!
Santana "Havana Moon" Nice! Do not overlook this one. Keep your mind open.
@gakerty,

I have my copy of "BSOTS" in house in my pile of lps waiting for listening.

Been on a buying binge lately, got quite a few waiting.

An oldie but goodie...looking through my records and this one just stood out...

Dan Folgerberg & Tim Weisberg  "Twin Sons of Different Mothers". Although this was released in 1978, my copy is obviously a re-issue with a bar-code, it sounds very good. Nice warm analog sound. Good to hear again!
Yesterday:

Hendrix-- Both Sides of the Sky
This album rocks, with a mix of hard grooves/blues and fully fleshed out songs, and Hendrix at top form.  Sound quality is excellent, quite "warm" on my system, yet dynamic.  On another note, three days ago I got what I thought was this Hendrix album, excitedly opened it and... it was some Judas Priest live album.  That was a major buzzkill!  Some at Amazon must have  grabbed from the "JU" shelf, not "JI"  All good now.

Porcupine Tree-- Lightbulb Sun.
I haven't met a Porcupine Tree album I didn't like.  This one starts out a bit mellow, then builds to proggy/hard goodness, albeit not the level of Fear of a Blank Planet.  As with everything Steven Wilson, the production is superb, being clean, balanced, with great instrument separation and non overdone highs...  Need to relisten tonight.
@reubent ,

Not live in person, just live on TV. The S/T lp is my only one by them, would like to check out more.
David Bowie/Lets Dance, my favorite Bowie album and one of my favorite Stevie Ray Vaughn albums, going to see how deep I get into the 6 album Blues Anthology on Alligator Records tonight.
@slaw - Have you seen Shovels and Rope live? Awesome stuff. I’ve been fortunate to see them a few times, in small venues, up close and personal. Some of my favorite live shows. I’ve always left feel they put everything out there and were completely spent when they walked off the stage.

You might not know it by listening to their studio albums, but there live show ROCK!
Bonnie Prince Billy / Wolf of the cosmos
I don't always like his style, but I'm digging it tonight!
Pink Floyd "A Momentary Lapse of Reason"  I hope everyone's copy sounds as good as mine.. a 10 at least!
Mail person showed up while I was washing my pickup today, love that woman, enjoying Duke Ellington/Piano In The Background, Joe Turner/Big Joe Rides Again, Hendrix/Both Sides Of The Sky, Crosby Stills, Nash & Young/Bill Gram Tribute Concert San Francisco 1991
I just realized this is the forum for turntables and not CDs.
Still great music.
Nona Ben David--Resonance
Captivating.

Yoko Kaneko--Wofgang Amadeus Mozart: Works from his "Golden Age."

Todd Garfinkel's MA Recordings can simply transport oneself to a better place.
Yesterday:

Dave Holland-- Aziza.
Funky, spacey, somewhat quirky grooves.  This grew on me bigtime.

Julian Lage-- Modern Lore.
Not as brilliant as his  Arclight, and more subdued and spaceous, but with plenty of great guitarplaying and writing.

Nils Lofgren- Night after Night.  Used record score!  ~5$ for this double live album.  Fun, poppy, with some guitar wizardry.  It's a keeper.
Just getting around to my bonus record - Brewer and Shipley - "ST11261". I'm almost completely unfamiliar with these guys. Honestly, had no idea what to expect. But I like it! Not bad at all and the sound quality is really good. Not the kind of music I was listening to in 1974 when it was released. But I like it in 2018.
Dee Dee Bridgewater/Memphis, yes I am ready, The Kinks/Low Budget, Ronnie Spector/English Heart
Tonights mixup...

Christopher Cross - Christopher Cross
Hangin' Out with Henry Mancini
The Rolling Stones - Some Girls (MFSL) [this is by far one of my favorite albums to drop the needle on; especially this pressing]
Nick Drake - Pink Moon (2013 Reissue) [this pressing has a lot of crackle and pop to it; still an amazing album to listen to]
@slaw
to be honest it really isn't a pressing I'd recommend going out to buy. Just my opinion though.
Alan Parsons is always an excellent choice.

Just put on...

Alan Parsons Project - Stereotomy
USPS just showed up with a nice package......

Listening to my newly acquired copy of Roger McGuinn - "Back From Rio".

I really like this record. I've had it on CD since it was released in 1990 or so. But the vinyl LP is better in every way.....

Up Next - The bonus record that came with "back from Rio". Brewer and Shipley - "ST11261". I have no idea what to expect. Never heard this record and I'm unfamiliar with the artist, only knowing their hit "One Toke Over the Line", which is not on this record.....
right now..

 REO "Live" .."ridin' the storm out"

@dustin_collins,

I own the Nirvana Lp you referenced.  Not a fan of the SQ.
