Cheap Trick- Dream Police. I had forgotten what a great spin this is! Great rock!
Interesting tidbits Zaikesman! I totaly agree with you about the F.U.S.E. LP. Rick and Robin did some stuff with Lennon too.
The Babys-Anthology. I was reading about people’s favorite rock signers and someone mentioned them...Sounds even better than I remembered!
Cheap Trick- Heaven Tonight. Great songs on a really decent sounding rock LP. I love the chords from the albums title track. And Robins' voice. Greatest singer in rock. Your opinion may differ.
Lyle Lovettes' Pontiac. One of my favorite LP's. Not a bad cut on the entire thing IMHO. Great bass too. Solid lyrics. Lyle can sing too. I'm turning it up!

Next up is Sagas' Worlds Apart for a change of pace.
Norah Jones- Come Away With Me

I have so many copies of this on various formats! I love this LP. I can not wait for the single sided 45 RPM pressings!!!

Also listening to:
Dire Straits: Making Movies ($2.99 @ ZIA)
Dire Straits: Comunique ($2.99 @ ZIA)
Pat Benetar: Crimes of Passion ($2.99 @ ZIA)

All good copies! WooHoo!
The Alan Parsons Project-Tale of Mystery and Imagination By Edgar Allan Poe

GREAT concept album IMHO.
Richie Havens was preparing to mount the stage
That is truthfuly more Woodstock than I can handle....
Bruce Springsteen- The Rising
I can never get enough of this LP. Not a bad track on it. Bruces' best IMHO. Inspired by 9-11.
Norah Jones- Come Away With Me. The new single-sided 4 LP 45 RPM piece of sonic heaven!!!
Arlen Roth- Hot Pickups. GREAT CLEAN guitar playing. I love how this album sounds.

No problem. I thought you might be in the Phoenix area. I did not realize Half Price Books is not just here in AZ. and am always looking for a good place to pick up vinyl.

Do you listen to Sphere: "Flight Path" on CD or LP? I just ordered the CD after reading your post and listening a bit on Amazon.
e-
Dohh! I assumed CD as you called it a disc in your original post. My bad...

I'll let you know how the CD sounds. LOL!
Thanks Nick_sr! I've got it on CD. I'll have to get the vinyl.

Lyle Lovette- Pontiac. Man I love this LP. When I found it used it was pretty warped. I've played it enough with a clamp and outer ring it is pretty flat now!
Saga- Worlds Apart

This is the album that got me interested in high end. Sounding really good tonight!
Hey e- I'll second the congrats on your new job. My sister was out of work for a year too (pharmacist)

Also my Sphere "Flight Path" CEE-DEE (LOL) came. It sounds great. Bet the vinyl is superdee-dooperdee.

SRV-Live At Montreux 1982 & 1985 (Disc 2) This came up on iTunes shuffle and I just had to turn off shuffle, restart it, sit down, and listen. I know it ain't vinyl, but it's workin'.

An audio friend and I are going to a used record store tomorrow. Maybe I'll luck out and find one, or both.
Tommy Tutone-Tommy Tutone. Really good spin. I have 3 of their CD's, and their first two on Vinyl. Catchy songs from a truly under rated band. I think we all heard Jenny 8675 a bit to much to take this band seriously, myself included. I got into them a few years ago and like pretty much everything I have heard. Nicely recorded, good Pop Rock (NOT the candy!)sound.
Heart- Dreamboat Annie. A stellar rock recording with a wide range of songs tempo and style wise (for the rock genre). By far my favorite Heart LP. The opening note of Magic Man lets you know this is a special spin indeed.
Cheap Trick- Dream Police. Rockin' Power-Pop at its best. There are some REALLY great tracks on this LP. Need Your Love, Gonna Raise Hell, Voices, there is not a bad track on it.
Life Death Love and Freedom : John Mellencamp

Cheap Trick: Cheap Trick (the first one!)-One of my all time favs. Tom Peterssons 12 string bass sounds great, Neilsons' guitar playing is creative, Zanders' voice is running the gamut. yep.
Norah Jones- Come Away With Me, on Clarity vinyl- really good

Aerosmith-featuring "Dream On"- good rock album with arguably the best power ballad of all time, Dream On.
Aerosmith- Rocks. What a great album, not a bad track on it. A little thick sounding...I remember the first time I heard Steven Tyler scream "I'm Baaack". "I HAVE TO HAVE THAT!" I literally yelled out. I was in the back of a friends Aunt's car. It was a bi-centenial edition something. Aerosmith, from that point on, was my favorite band all through junior high. I still love the "old" Aerosmith. I played it for my 3 year old daughter tonight. I think she liked it!
Wow Macdad- looks like you raided my LP stack! How does the Foo Fighters Greatest sound to you?
Eric Clapton- Slowhand, 461 Ocean Blvd
Marshall Tucker- Carolina Dreams
Rory Block- House of Hearts
Rickie Lee Jones- The Magazine
ZZ Top- Eliminator
Elton John- Yellow Brick Road excellent 180 gram pressing (DJM 1001) with big dynamics
J.C. Mellenkamp- Scarecrow
Dire Straits- first one
Tommy Tutone- Two
CCR- Willy and the Poor Boys
Nazareth- Close Enough For Rock And Roll
Great sounding and a wide range of music on this LP that I have bought an unknown number of copies from my teen years 'till now. Highly recomended for any 70's rock fan!
Arlen Roth- Hot Pickups
Queen- A Night at the Opera

I was gonna watch "Inglorious Bastards" on BluRay....
Toto- Hydra- I finally found a really clean copy of this stellar LP!
Fleetwod Mac- Rumors

MacPapaTejas- To bad about your Cars LP. FWIW the regular pressing sounds really good IMHO. Great album too.
Got my X-Ono phono back from Pass the other day. Wayne Colburn kicked it up a couple notches for sure.

Doug MacLeod- No Road Back Home
Arlen Roth-Guitarist-If you like really articulate guitar playing pick anything he does up
