What's in your CDP tonight? the minority report

I enjoy vinyl and digital (lately, with recent changes, vinyl actually sounds better than digital to me), BUT given what seems an overall preference for analog/vinyl on A'gon, I'm curious what the non-vinyl "1/2" is listening to. I tried to see if this was a previously posted question. Did not seem so.

This evening for me, it's Genesis (definitive edition remaster) "A Trick of the Tail".

Fairport Convention - What We Did On Our Holidays
Fairport Convention - Unhalfbricking
I bought a 5.1 SACD copy of Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here a while ago and finally popped it in the Oppo.  The 5.1 mix was done pretty well and it's kind of a fun listen, but I prefer two channel.
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Fantastic album. I wish there was a definitive best pressing of it. But I have never seen anything to make me think there is. Maybe I am wrong though.

regarding Pink Floyd "WYWH" The definitive pressing on CD is the original 2-track, early 80's. The SACD version is a close 2nd.

Happy Listening!
For @slaw , @nutty , & @pokey

The Lord Dog Bird.  A LoFi masterpiece.

Something about it reminds me of Hiss Golden Messenger - but further out there.
Persevere (maybe) through tracks 1-3.  It gets "easier".

Track 5, Song for Woodthrush

Enjoyed the Lord Dog Bird. Headphones is all I have currently but great sonics.
Found some more Stewart Copland that might interest you, "Wrapped Around Your Finger" Live, very high quality for YouTube. The Police are possibly my favorite Reggae band.

Heart (Dreamboat Annie) talk about no chick flick.
The opening track "Magic Man" rocks it’s head off, and the low bass at the end will really test your system lf ability.
Best one the uncompressed first 1976 untouched cd issue C2 46491

Hey ghosthouse,  I don't have this on my CD player, (yet) but I wanted to get this one circulated. Joanne Shaw Taylor "If that ain't a reason" from Joe B's KTBA records.

@nutty

Thanks for posting that new track featuring Joanne Shaw Taylor. CDP playback or not, I always intended this thread for "the non-vinyl half", i.e., digital listeners regardless of source. "What’s in your CDP tonight?" was just a convenient play off Slipknot’s "What’s on your turntable tonight?"

Last night with a couple of GT’s under the belt, a great Jazz evening

James Morrison 1991 "Manner Dangerous" Insanely good dynamics will give you concussion on the louder notes and you’ll love it. Done before they started to compress his later albums more and more, and make them unlistenable on big dynamic systems.

Manner Dangerous

Now that my new Pangea XL digital coax is broken in, first I replayed Heart I Dream Boat Annie (same code as George) and it was amazingly better, with significantly more bass

then Patricia Barber Companion XRCD. Need I say AMAZING?
