@16f4 lovely lovely!!! tuck and patti’s music are like comfort food for soul - have seen them live many many times locally here, they used to perform at yoshi’s every thanksgiving such lovely people with such big hearts and positive energy (not to mention the highest level of artistry) in every performance i have not seen them tour or perform live for a few years now... don’t know if patti may be having some health issues... :( |

Berliner Philharmoniker - Beethoven: Symphony No. 9 Rarely listen to classical music, but thought a little would get me out of my rut. Schillers Ode To Joy is ruined for me since Die Hard...which is NOT a Christmas movie. |

Slade - Alive!, Qobuz. I picked this up on vinyl recently and it sounded "hot", a bit strident in some of the vocals and guitar and wondered if it was a bad pressing (it was NM-) or if it was just recorded that way. I hear it in this remastered version, but not as much. I'm not listening as loud either, this is my near field system so it might be worse if I turned it up. I think the vinyl is going into the bin. |
